Hey, hey ladies!!! Welcome to WOULD YOU RATHER??? Singles edition… woot, woot!!!! oKAAAAAAAAY so I randomly came up with this idea to play this game with all the single ladies in my phone and I promised everyone I would give my own answers here on the blog! We've been having a blast and I said I'd come up with some more questions next week!

I will also give the ratio of what females are saying they want in these categories for all you single guys that read Classic Mary Moments buuuuuuuut don't want anyone to know!!! ;)

1. Would you rather marry a guy that is really funny and can make you laugh 😂 really hard and lift your spirits when you’re having a really hard day? (And can bring a smile to your face even when it’s not a bad day!) OR a MAN that can cook really good and you will neverrrrr ever, ever have to step foot in the kitchen? (Not even to wash dishes!)

Mary's Answer: Okaaaaaaaay sooooo THE TRUTH is that neither of these qualities are very important to me in a spouse, BECAUSE, I am BOTH!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! Buuuuuuut to be fair, i will answer the question!!! I think I would prefer a man that can cook because I have brothers that can cook and it's actually a really fun thing to do together!!! So while I DO PLAN on being in charge of my our kitchen, as long as I can still be the main cook, I would prefer a man that can cook over a man that can make me laugh!!!

A man that is funny, while enjoyable, is completely unimportant at all to me!!! I don't need anyone to make me laugh, I MAKE MYSELF LAUGH ALL THE TIME!!! One of my friends said to me, but Mary, I get tired of always trying to make people laugh, don't you get tired of always trying to make people laugh? I said honestly, NOOOOO!!! and to BE REALLY HONEST, I don't even TRY to make people laugh, it's completely effortless!!! I just talk and people LAUGH!!! And bringing a smile to someone else's face brings me so much joy and happiness!!! Even when i'm feeling down, bringing someone else joy will pull me out of the gutter and lift my own spirits.

LADIES RATIO: okaaaaaaaaaaaay hands down, FUNNY MAN won for this question!!! MOST FEMALES want a funny man!!! Thankfully for all you non-funny men out there, I'm NOT most females...soooooooo you have hope...VERY LIMITED HOPE....buuuuuuuuuut STILL HOPE!!! BAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

2. Would you rather marry a guy that gave you a limitless clothing shopping 🛍 budget, Louie Vuitton, Burberry, Coach, Kate Spade ♠️, the price and amount you could spend was limitless, buuuuuuut everything had to be his taste, his preference, he had to approve of the style, colors, brightness and the way it looked on you, etc… OR a man that would let you wear WHATEVER you pleased, (as long as it was neat, modest, feminine, Godly, appropriate for the occasion, thought out, not all frumpy and ghetto) buuuuuuut any color, style, pattern, material, design you wanted, buuuuuuut within a very limited shopping 🛍 budget he gave! (Think at least 50-75% less than what you spend RIGHT NOW! I want you to realize that there is a sacrifice in BOTH of these!)

MARY'S ANSWER: Without a doubt I would pick the VERY LIMITED BUDGET buuuuuuuuut whatever I want to wear. The way I dress is an extension of my personality, my Maryness, my heart, I would HATE it if my husband made me stop wearing bright colors and fun clothes and made me wear neutrals and grays or GOD FORBID a lot of black...that's just NOT ME!!! I don't really think any guy would even fall in love with me though without already excepting me the way I am!!! And to balance it out, IF MY HUSBAND wants to wear boring clothes, I too will NOT make him wear bright colors or change that about him!!!!(Of course, NO sloppiness, his style too, has to be neat, clean, manly, modest and Godly!)
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT...
I will let HIM BE HIM...

3. Would you rather marry a man that is an amazing conversationalist and loves having deep talks with you about anything and everything. And it’s interesting conversation, not just useless ramblings about nothing, you have a truly good time talking together about EVERYTHING!!! You never run out of things to say to each other and you can pour your heart out to him any time and he knows just what to say,you will be able to talk through anything and communication will never be an issue in your marriage!!!
Buuuuuuut he isn’t the smartest person in the world, I mean he’s not like dumb, he’s just not the brightest bulb in the pack! he will never help you with homework or help you figure out gadgets and computer stuff! Or how to add fractions when you're doubling the baking recipe.

OR a man that is extremely smart!!! Liiiiiiiike soooooo smart, like a total typical nerd, like he knows math and spelling and computers and electrictronics and facts and all that jazz, and if you need help with anything he has the answer or can figure it out if you ask him, he will tutor you, cuz smart guys are liiiiiiike smart and they like knoooooow stuff… BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT...
not a very good conversationalist!!! He’s more quiet and reserved, only says something when it’s necessary or asked and you have to keep the conversation going a lot, when you pour your heart out to him there's a lot of just head nodding and I'm sorry to hear that's and he only gives you his deepest thoughts when you literally drag them out of him.

*side note: both guys have steady jobs, provide for their family and can afford at least one family vacation, one church ⛪️ conference a year and a anniversary getaway at least every other year!!!

MARY'S ANSWER: SMART, QUIET, NERD ALLLLLLL THE WAY!!! I mean, when someone is quiet, literally I think CHALLENGE EXCEPTED!!! I can get anyone to talk to me!!! I have NO PROBLEM AT ALL with quiet people and usually end up getting along with them best in friendships! And in relationships, obviously, NO RELATIONSHIP has ever worked out, buuuuuuuuuuut, the quiet guys get on my nerves the least! I mean I have fun hanging out with talkative guys at conferences or events buuuuuuut There's something that gets annoying talking to a guy on the phone that keeps going on and on and on!!! Liiiiiiiiiiike puleeeeeeze, don't you know i've got stuff to say??? Annnnnnnnnnd let's be real, i'm like the scarecrow in the wizard of oz, I COULD USE SOME BRAINS!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! I have ENOUGH HEART AND PERSONALITY FOR THE BOTH OF US!!!

FUN MARY FACT: I ACTUALLY GOT A CRUSH ON A QUIET GUY FRIEND when I told him I was dropping out of college because I couldn't pass math and he offered to tutor me!!! It was literally the moment I saw him in a whole new light...I ALMOST WENT BACK TO COLLEGE, just to be tutored by him...ALMOST!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! I'm SURE everyone at my church can guess WHO this crush was!!! LOLOLOLOL

LADIES RATIO: MORE females said a good conversationalist buuuuuuuuut there was still a pretty good amount that said a smart man!!! I can't really give you exact ratios cuz I'm REALLY BAD AT MATH!!! BAHAHAHA!!! Conversationalist was for sure MORE though!!!!

WASN'T THIS FUUUUUUUNNNN??? We were all have soooooooooo much fun with this last night!!!! One friend said I should make an app for this!!!! I was liiiiiiike that is such a GOOD IDEA??? buuuuuuuuuuuuut HOW???? See this is WHY I need a smart man, a SMART man could figure out how to make an app!!!! A smart man could figure out how I could make podcasts too and teach me where to put a comma-he could help me expand my MARYNESS!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
