If your opening a can of hominy...

If your opening a can of hominy OR any can for that matter....ANNNNNNND...your very cute Pioneer Woman can opener FAILS YOU and does NOT fully open...do NOT I repeat, DO. NOT. use your muscles to finish opening the can... because ...
THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU...
Thats AFTER it stopped bleeding and to be honest it looks better in the pictures than in reality...I couldn't angle my finger to get it all in buuuuuuuut it sliced about half a inch in and half a inch down and then the outside slice is about an inch and a half in a frown type of line...if you wanna see a video of it just text or email me....ahahahahahahahahaaaa!!!

Annnnnnnnnd there was A LOT of blood EVERYWHERE!!!
To be honest I was REALLY FREAKED out when it happened and I was all by myself and I thought am I supposed to like call 911 now??? buuuuuuuuuuut even though I was scared, I also did NOT wanna pay the medical bill...sooooooooo the only thing I remember from my first aide class was to APPLY PRESSURE to the wound....
Then while I did that I sought medical council from my nurse friends.and anyone else that was interested in my plight!!!! I also googled what to do and after about 2.5 hours it DID stop bleeding!!!!
.
Then when my nephew got home, I decided to FREAK HIM out since the cut looks like a mouth and was still opening I made it talk to him...Yeah he screamed...it was kinda paindful to do buuuuuuuuuut soooooo worth his reaction...ahahahahahaaa...Then I went to Walgreens, bought medical tape and peroxide and got to work on myself and it's healing QUITE NICELY!!!
.
I think i'm going to have a REALLY EPIC looking scar too!!!! I showed it to EVERYONE at church last night too!!! I was liiiiiiiiiike, I think its going to look like my finger is SAD all the time...
LIKE IT'S FROWNING!!!!
Denae was like, BUT THAT'S NOT YOU!!!!
I was liiiiiiiiiiike yeah buuuuuuut then when people are sad I can say, are you SAD??? and show them my finger!!! Then I can say...
TURN THAT FROWN
 UPSIDE DOWN!!!
and then I was telling everyone at church, I mean while I had an audience, hee, hee, i was liiiiiiike, YEAH, annnnnnnnnnd the cut was sooooooooo DEEP I was just look inside it, I thought I could see a bone maybe and I just kept looking inside me!!! Someone was like, WHY???

I like, weeeeeeeeeeellllll....I wanted to see WHAT I LOOK LIKE ON THE INSIDE!!!!
.
Cuz ya know...THEY SAY it's MORE IMPORTANT to be beautiful on the THE INSIDE than the outside!!!! AHAHAHAAA!!! In case you guys are wondering,  I'm NOT VERY BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE!!!! Things were looking pretty UGLY!!!!
OOOOOOOOOOH well...🤷

♥Mary Frances :)
In defense of my insides... it WOULD be REALLY hard to compete with the outside!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! Okaaaaaaaaay I knoooooow that was sooooooooo something like a really immature teenage guy would say...buuuuuuuuut I just could NOT resist it!!! #SomePeopleJustNeverrrrrrrGrowUp!!!! ;)

I can wait BECAUSE…

Waiting. It's a part of life.
I recently have someone working on a project for me, and I picked out a person that I have no doubt in my mind will produce a good product. I've talked to them about it and things are going slower than we originally planned, buuuuuuuuuut it's in the works.
.
Have you ever asked someone to do something for you and they do a shoddy job??? They're late in getting it to you, but not because they're working hard buuuuut because they're just lazy? Then when they FINALLY DO, it's still WET...liiiiiiike they literally just slopped it together two minutes ago...
Well with this person is NOT like that!!!
.
Sure I might be able to get someone else to do the job faster, but I don't know that the workmanship would be as good. Afterwards, I told my sister, you know, even though I AM anxious to see the end result, I don't mind waiting longer on them, because I trust their work.
.
As soon as I said it, a thought entered my mind, that's the SAME REASON I can wait on God,
            BECAUSE I TRUST HIM!!!
Sure there are times that I feel frustrated, I get anxious to see the end result, but I don't take things into my own hands, because I trust HIS HANDS over my own. When you try to do things YOUR WAY, the ultimate reason is because you think you can do a better job than God.
.
Buuuuuuuuuuuut even though I don't know what exactly he is doing, I know He only has the good things in store for me.  Whatever happens will be the best thing for me. I may not understand why things may take so long, buuuuuut I KNOW it's not because he's waiting till the last minute to slop something together for me.
I TRUST...
SO I WAIT!!!
.
"I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope." (Psalm 130:5)

When life has a black out!!!

I remember a time when I was 18, My sister and I went to a youth camp in Oklahoma. The dorm buildings  were solid brick buildings with now windows anywhere. One night as we were sleeping in our very uncomfortable bunks, I suddenly woke up to pitch blackness. I mean it was SOOOO DARK I could NOT even see my hand in front of me. As scared as I was, I knew from the whispers around me that there was a storm that had caused a black out which caused every light in the campgrounds to go out. It was dark my friends, DARK!!!
Even though I was scared and uncomfortable with the lights being out, I figured I would just go back to sleep, after all that made the most logical sense to do right??? I'm closing my eyes to go back to sleep when I hear a whisper, Mary! Mary! It was my sister, she was like, lets go to the bathroom...I'm like, just go to sleep! She's like, No lets go! I'm like, we can't see ANYTHING, there is no way we're going to make it out of this big room of bunks, into the hall and THEN find the bathroom in this pitch blackness! She's like, NO LETS GO!
.
Well sure enough WE GOT LOST! I'm telling you all it was one of the scariest feelings ever! We were literally lost in out own dorm room. You have to understand that per a room there are about 30 bunks set up and we were completely lost amongst them. We had no idea where our beds were anymore or where the door to the hallway was.
.
Holding hands we felt along the beds and walls, tripping over stuff till we finally made it to the hallway. Once in the hallway we were greeted the same blackness. Now we had no idea which room was ours OR how to get to the bathroom. We had no idea what to do as we walked along.
.
Struggling through the darkness, we suddenly saw a tiny sliver of light. We realized that it was coming up from the dorm door. It was light from the moon seeping through the bottom door. It was such a tiny bit of light but to us it may as well have been a torch shining through. Thinking we could open the door all the way and let more moonlight in the dorm to find our way around.  Excitedly, We RAN to THE LIGHT!!!

Why Complain?!

"God is so good to me, I was singing this song the other day, He is so good to me, God is so good to me, I CAN'T complain!” Then I got to thinking about it and I thought, actually, I could complain. I mean seriously. There are quite a few things in my life that I would like to complain about right now.
.
Then something happened at work that same day that just really pushed me over the edge. I was very irritated. Just so incredibly annoyed. On the outside I had managed maintain my cool. However, on the inside, I was boiling mad. I was so hot I am surprised no one could see steam seeping out of me. There was nothing I could really do about it, except maintain my cool in silence.
.
For the most part, I try not to post all my problems on my blog or email them to all my friends. I try to keep a positive attitude. But after this, I decided to break that decision. I was going to blog about this irritation, mass email about it, text and about it. I was ready to vent my extreme annoyance to anyone and everyone that would listen.
.
However, as I was sitting there, preparing to vent, God ran a simple little question through my mind...
.
"Why complain?"
" Huh?" I heard it again.
"Why complain?"
" Well, because I am like really irritated and..."
"...But why complain?"
"Well, uh, you see, I uh, the reason why is because, uh..."
Then another question...
"What is complaining going to do?"
.
I thought about this for a moment, but came up with NOTHING. I knew that was the answer to the question; complaining would do NOTHING. It wouldn’t do me any good. Nor was it going to do any of the people I was complaining to ANY good. When I realized this God asked me one more time...
"Why complain?"
"I said ok forget it, I think I just changed my mind!!!"
.
You know, its so easy to complain. But really, WHY complain? Why be negative when you can be positive? Why bring another's spirit down, when you can help lift their spirit up? We all have those bad days, life isn't perfect, and sometimes we're just going to feel a little down. BUT why complain?
.
One of the best ways to get out of feeling down is by making someone else smile. There is a saying that says Happiness is like jam, you can't spread even a little, without getting some on yourself. I realized this the other day when I was upset. I went home from work and thought, hmmm.... what should I do? Really, I just felt like being a grouch. I went to the computer to check my email, perhaps I had received and enlightening email from a friend. Grrr ...Nothing but junk mail. Well, I guess I’ll blog. So I started writing something, it was just a silly, stupid blog, but it was funny. It made my friends laugh and you know what, making them laugh made me feel better.
.
Yeah, I still had the same problem, but I would have had the same problem if I had been complaining about it to. And by complaining about it to my friends I would have put that same frustration on them, instead I had caused them to laugh, which in turn made me smile also.
.
So why complain? Sometimes we just expect everyone to be our little venting station. We think that our family, spouse, friends, employees are there for us to complain to about all of life's little problems. Then we can't understand why people don't want to talk to us and make excuses to get off the phone. The truth is simple, no one wants to hear you complain. Yes it's okay to occasionally vent frustration. It's one thing to go to a friend and say that you have something that you really need to talk to them about. That you need their advice, prayer or just some encouragement…
.
It's another thing to just complain.

"My husband just can't pick up after himself. No one at work appreciates me. The neighbor's next-door need to mow their lawn. I deserve a raise. My brother ate the last of my favorite cereal. My sister used the last of the cinnamon vanilla creamer. My wife always burns the toast AND her coffee is weak." Sometimes, I just want to look at people and say, "I DON'T CARE!!!" (Famous Mary Line: I don't care, I mean I CARE, buuuuuut I don't care!!! AHAHAHAAAA!!!)I am not trying to be rude, we could all sit around and talk about our frustrations, but, WHY?! WHY complain?
.
I heard a preacher once tell a story about how someone at his house had left the water running while watering the plants. He said that he was very annoyed when he went out and saw the water running down the street. It was wasting water and he was going to have to pay the bill. He said that he knew who had left the water running. He knew where she lived and he knew that if he chose to he could go over to her house and really let her have it for not turning off the water. If chose to, he could really ruin this woman’s day. However, he says, “You know what I did? I turned off the water.”
.
I think sometimes in life we need to learn how to just “Turn off the water” If it really bothers you, that your husband leaves his clothes on the floor, just shut up and pick them up. Buy some more creamer. Eat a different cereal. Make your own coffee. I’m NOT saying that when we don’t like something we never have to say a word about it. But if you really do have a constant problem, you should try talking directly to that person and not the rest of the world.

I got to thinking about it a little bit more, the whole complaining thing. I realized that we would probably get a lot further with resolving our problems, if we spent as much time in prayer, talking to God about our problems, as we do complaining to everyone else about our problems. In the Bible it says that there was a woman named Hannah who was barren in her womb. Her and her husband could not conceive children and because of this she was very sad. The Bible says she literally grieved in her heart, that’s how badly she wanted a child.
.
“Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? Am not I better to thee than ten sons?” (1 Samuel 1:8) There was nothing Elkanah, her husband could do to solve this problem. However, I like what Hannah does next. “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.” (1 Samuel 1:10) What did she do? She talked to God about it. And talking to God about her problem got her a whole lot further than complaining to her husband about it. “…and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD, ” ( 1 Samuel 1:19-20). God heard her and He answered her prayer.
.
The honest truth is that often times we as humans might not really want to hear about the things that are bringing you down. Its not that we don’t love each other, but, we’re only humans. There are some things, that, aside from praying, there is just nothing I can personally do to help a person. However, 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Talk to God about your problems. He REALLY does care.
.
So the song runs through my mind just one more time. God is so good to me; He is so good to me. His spirit came to me and gave me the victory; God is so good to me I CAN'T complain! Well, actually, I still could, I mean, there are still quite a few things in my life that I would like to be different. I am still single, more money is always nice,  I really want that one jacket, that one camera, and oh, irritating people are still everywhere.
BUT, then I think about God's goodness.
.
I was raised in truth, I am surrounded by family, I have the Holy Ghost, God forgave me of my sins, I go to an awesome church, I have a pastor that watches out for my soul and isn't afraid to preach the truth, I HAVE A JOB, the bills are getting paid, I have tons of cute clothes, I have friends galore, I have good fellowship, laughter overflows my heart, I have joy that fills my soul, and the list goes on and on and on. ♫Sing it one more time♫ God is so good to me, He is so good to me, God is so good to me, and I’m NOT going to complain!♫
.
...Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
 (Phil. 4:8)

It's NOT the Puppet!!!

I was thinking about puppets the other day, i'm not into puppetry, but I happen to have a few friends that are and I always enjoy watching a GOOD PUPPET SHOW!!! BUUUUUUT I was thinking about how it works with puppets. If you see a really LAME puppet show, its NOT the puppet's fault, its the PUPPETEERS fault! And you don't have to have an AMAZING puppet to have an AWESOME show!!! A really GOOD PUPPETEER can do a good show with ANYTHING!!!
.
I've seen awesome puppet shows with SOCK PUPPETS before!!! Yes, SOCKS!!! Was it the socks that made the show awesome??? NO!! It was the puppeteer, MAKING THE PUPPET SOCKS do awesome things. You know WHY??? Because IF your a good puppeteer, you don't need the biggest and the best puppet around to do a great show, because YOUR skills as a puppeteer will make whatever you are using good!
.
This got me to thinking about our own lives. If we put our lives into this world's puppeteers, we'll end up involved in all the wrong things. Hollywood, drugs, imorality and ultimately a life of misery and emptiness! Thats the devil's puppetry in your life...DESTRUCTION!!!
.

However, IF we'll put our life into GOD'S HANDS, he can make something beautiful out of our life!!! Sometimes we think that God can't use us because we're a NOBODY! We think WHO AM I that God could use for his glory? I wasn't raised in church, I come from a broken home, i'm  the only one in my family living for God, my dad's gone,I feel inferior, i have no experiance, I don't know how to dress, I don't know how to act! Maybe you feel like that one lone dirty sock, with a hole in the toe, it doesn't matter!!!
God has a plan FOR YOU!!!
.
Its NOT the puppet that is amazing...its an AMAZING PUPPETEER!!! You don't need to be an amazing person to do great things, you just need to put YOUR LIFE in the hands of an AMAZING GOD!!! :)
.

When I felt like an adult!!!!

Soooooooo there's this Christian radio station that I like to listen to in my car, weeeeeellll pretty much cuz the CD player is BROKEN...surprise, surprise, LOL!!! Anywayz, they'll like ask these random questions in the afternoon and have listeners call in with their answers in between songs!
One day, the question was, WHEN did you FIRST feel like an adult??? And I remember sitting there in the car, in my early 30's and thinking,
HONESTLY, I STILL DON'T!!!
You know, when kids come to you, your just like, REALLY???
OR THIS...
Adulting:
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Soooooo ME!!! ;))))
I don't know why I felt that way! I'm moved out, I work, I drive, I pay bills, I travel by myself...I don't even have a curfew...buuuuut I STILL don't feel like an adult!!! However, recently, with my mom's death, it hit me, I think I ACTUALLY feel like an adult now. I'm not sure WHY, perhaps its just because it hit me, I'm doing this, I'm DOING what my mom wanted me to do, BUT without her! I wish I wasn't doing this WITHOUT her, buuuuut I AM, because she prepared me so well to be able to!!!
I'm going to church, i'm living for GOD, WITHOUT HER!!! IT's what she always wanted me to do, AND I was doing, but the difference is that I could stop now and she would never know! I would never have to worry about her being saddened or disappointed in my decision...buuuuuuuuuuut THIS IS MY DECISION!!! This IS the life I CHOOSE TO LIVE!!! NOT because I HAVE to! NOT because I don't want to disappoint or please anyone! BUT because THIS is the life I WANT TO LIVE!!! I always said it before, AND TRULY MEANT IT!!! Buuuuuuuuuut NOW IT'S REAL...annnnnd soooo NOW for the first time I can say that...
I feel like an ADULT!!
Sooooooo it basically feels the same...BAHAHA!!!!
Okaaaaaaaaaaaay we ALL know that I'll always be an ADULT CHILD, buuuuuut Heeeeeeey I AM A CHILD OF GOD and I'll NEVER be to adulty for that!!! Hee, hee!!!

Looking from ABOVE!!!

I LOVE being on the airplane and just looking at the clouds...it just totally awwws ME!!! Like they are just like right there...sooo close to you that you just want to reach out and touch the fluffy things!!!

And the weirderst thing is when you have flown up SOOOOO high in the airplane and you look out the window and the clouds are BENEATH YOU!!! Its soooo cRaZy!!! To think that these things, that usually are soooo high up and out of your reach are actually NOW UNDER YOU!!!

Buuuuut it gets even cRaZiEr because you flying higher and higher up and at one point I looked out and the clouds were sooooo FAR below me that they looked like they were just floating on top of the ocean!!! I was like NOW WAY!!! I mean, know how much higher they are than the ocean. I have stood many a times at the ocean and looked up...waaaaay...waaaay...WAAAAAAY up into the sky and seen the clouds up on high...BUUUUT NOW here I was flying...up soooo HIGH ABOVE the clouds that THEY looked EXTREMELY close to the ocean!!! In fact, they were WAAAAAY closer to the ocean than they were to me anymore!!!

AND I got to thinkin that, I BET that must be the way God sees things. There are times in our lives that our hopes and dreams seem sooooooo FAR ABOVE US!!! They seem way out of our reach...like we would never be able to get to them. BUT, thats not the way God sees it!!! He just looks down and the things that WE think are soooo far out of our reach...God sees how close they really are to us!!!
Don't give up my friends!!!!
Whateverrr it is that your WANTING...a job, a better job, a house, a degree, schooling, where to live, a best friend, a sibling, citizenship,  a baby, adoption, a healing, ministry, A SPOUSE...hahaHa...a lost loved one to be saved...or just direction for your future, WHATEVERRR it is don't give up!!! Just keep waiting on God...It may SEEM FAR...but from God's view its CLOSE...way, way closer than you think!!!
.
"But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it."

Most popular picture!!!

My lil brother posted this picture on our family GroupMe and I was sooooo enthralled I wanted to share this picture with you all...

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy so I figured that those of you not looking at this from your phones, may have some difficulty turning the computer screen upside down, soooooooo I did it for you all, CHECK THIS OUT....
THE REFLECTION of the truck is THE SAME as the truck!!! Isn't that AMAZING??? I was going to end it with that, buuuuuuuut then I had this random thought that I just had to share with you all. It makes me ask myself and you all as well,  ARE WE THE SAME REFLECTION, when our lives are turned upside down??? Furthermore, What does me reflection look like???  AM I REFLECTION OF CHRIST???

Thanking God on Thanksgiving 2015 especially for...

Last year, for Thanksgiving I found myself especially grateful for JOY!!! This year, I want to give God special thanks for,
A HUGE little miracle called...
LIFE!!!
Just a little over a month ago, our family was awakened in the wee hours of the morning, with terrifying news that caused us all to begin desperately calling out to God in prayer! Begging God to intervene and do a miracle in our family.
.
We received a phone call from my oldest brother Joe that his wife Jewel, who was pregnant and scheduled to have a C-section and give birth on November 14th, was hemorrhaging uncontrollably. She had passed out, 911 was called and she was now being rushed by the paramedics to the hospital.
.
For almost an hour, we waited with heavy hearts, hoping for the best and not the worst. Finally, after what seemed like forever, we got the news that his son was delivered, then a little while later that the mommy was stable and in intensive care, and we all breathed a sigh of relief as welcomed the newest member of the Ginty family into the world!!!
Baby Jeremiah!!!
In the preemie-intensive care unit...
Once they were all stable, the doctor that worked on Jewel and prevented her from dying, that doctor came out and told my brother to thank God that his wife was still alive, because that was THE ONLY REASON she was alive!!!
.
Then another doctor came out a little later and told my brother, he doesn't know what he believes, if you wanna call it, luck or God or whatever, BUUUUUT, he wanted my brother to know that the doctor that had worked on Jewel and kept her from dying, was NOT supposed to be on duty that day. However, he just happened to be in the hospital when he wasn't scheduled to be there, which was also the same time they brought Jewel in and that doctor told my brother, that that other doctor was THE ONLY DOCTOR ON STAFF that would have had the knowledge to know what to do to stop the hemorrhaging. When I heard that, I was just like, WOW!!! That doctor may not have known WHY or HOW that other doctor just happened to be there, BUUUUUUT I KNOW THE REASON he was there!!! Its because we serve a mighty, mighty, mighty, GOOOOOOOOD GOD!!!
(Here is, his teeny-tiny hand holding my finger)
.
One of my friends told me that the name Jeremiah means, "God IS exalted!" How fitting is that meaning in this already in this little babies life.
For just the testimony alone, of him being alive is an absolute MIRACLE and every time it is told, GOD IS BEING EXALTED!!!
.
We are all SOOOO GREATFUL to God that you are here Baby Jeremiah and of course your mommy, my lil sista Jewel!!!! I love you guys!!! Purrrrrrrr!!! ♥♥♥
He MAY BE LITTLE, buuuuuuut he has a BIG TESTIMONY TO SHARE!!!
"Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth." (Psalm 57:11)
And soooooo this Thanksgiving, I want to especially thank God for LIFE!!! At any moment, this precious gift could be taken away from us!!! Buuuuuuut thank you God for your miraculous hand of protection on each and every one of our lives!!! You truly are a mighty, mighty, mighty BIG GOD!!!

5th grader wisdom!!!

I heard on the radio recently that a group of 5th graders were asked to share ONE THING they've learned about God. One boy summed it up by saying that God just tells him,
"Dude, I've got this!"
Annnnnnd I thought, what at GREAT thing to have learned about God!!! He's got it all taken care of and everything is under control! Your job? He's got it! Your children? He's got it! Your home?  He's got it! Your finances? He's got it! How you gonna pay the bills? He's got it! Your relationships? He's got it! Lost loved ones? He's got it! Who you gonna marry? He's got it!!!
.
Not that I'm saying we don't need to be doing anything for ourselves!!! Of course we need to do as much as we humanly, possibley can, without breaking any laws of God, buuuuuuuuut at a certain point, its out of your control. You've done everything you possibly can annnnnd NOW you've gotta let God do the rest!!!
.
We worry, worry, worry, how is it going happen? We examine! We analyze! We critique the situation! When will it happen? What IF this happens? What IF that happens? What if I lose my job? What if I can't find a job?  What if I don't pass my tests to graduate?  WHAT IF THERE REALLY ISN'T ANYONE FOR ME??? Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!
.
Annnnnnnd I imagine in my mind God just shaking his head saying,
"Dude, I've got this!"
Whatever it is your needing, stop worrying, God's got it!!!
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)

Look at Obama!!! Read ALL the way through!

"Awww! I don't care who you voted for, anyone with a heart must admit that this picture is criminally cute:"

I found this picture on another blogger's website and the above statment with it. I have to say that I totally agree with her! Look at our new president reaching out too all those adorable little kids!!! It really is a sweet picture, YOU ALL have to admit that!!! I for one would like to stand up and give him an aplause for taking the time to shake hands with "The Little People!!!"
*
I just wonder if this picture was taken before or after he said a baby was a punishment?!?!

Hmmm...what do you all think?

"I've got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby." ( Barack Hussein Obama Newly elected U.S. President)

Too bad there are some "Little People" that will never have the chance to shake his hand-because they are a "punishment."
I believe that ONLY God the creator is the determinor of when life should begin or end. If you believe the same PASS IT ON!!!-Started by Mary Frances Ginty-
