I am NOT bragging...

Well okaaay...MAYBE I am!!! ;) BUT man I sure do make the BEST cheesburgers!!! Seriousley!!! HAHA!!! I have this special way of making the meat taste soooooooooo good and moist! After, I flavor the meat just right, I put on top grilled onions a little cheddar cheese. These burgers are ONLY 6 Weight Watchers points!!! (WOOHOO!) Even my mom, who is the world's greatest cook EVER couldn't stop talking about it!!! I gave one to my brother John today, without grilled onions on top, ( cause he don't like onions!) and he said it was good, but he would leave out...and then he was like well I wanna make you this cheesburger Mary that...I was like OH JUST SHUTUP AND EAT!!! LOL He is probabley at home RIGHT now TRYING to make a better cheesburger than me!!! Grrrr...Remind me NOT to marry a man that can cook!!! ;)

Last night we had 20 kids in our pick up for church. Here I am waiting with Jacqui and the kids for Sam and Janelle to get there with the van! Anyways, it was AWESOMELY wild! ;)

FREEZING!!!

Woohoo!!! I did it! I went swimming in March!!! It was deliciously, fantabulously, freezing cold!!! My toes were numb, but it felt AWESOME!!! I am soooooo ready for the Ocean!!!

Sunburn!!!

Ok!!! Its official!!! I just got my first 2009 sunburn!!! LOL Many more to come before the summer is over, I AM SURE!!! HAHA!!!!! Soooooooo today we had an awesome turnout out at the Paradise Shadows BBQ picnic! I have been planning this outreach thing and was kinda stressing about it ALL week long but It turned out GREAT!!! Thank you JESUS!!!

Today would have to be the HOTTEST day of the year soooooo far!!! BUT still...Lots of fun with the kids and made a few more contacts and some other stuff that I will share with you all later when I post some pics that I took on OTHER people's camera's cause mine is still BROKEN!! LOL BUT for now I AM GOING SWIMMING!!! WOOT, WOOT!!!

Going green...

As I rolled outta bed this morning, after hitting the snooze button on my phone a million kajillion times, I stumbled over to my closet. Hmmm...what should I wear to work today I thought. My aqua blue t-shirt I thought would be a good comfortable choice. Since there was nothing going on tonight I figured it was okay to with a casual look. But as I reached for the blue shirt my eyes fell on a dark green shirt with white and different shades of green daisies. You know I though, I haven't worn that in a while, I think maybe I will just wear it. Soooooooo after getting dressed I went into the kitchen an started toasting a bagel. When my little niece came running down the hallway, wearing a green t-shirt with a four-leaf clover on it. Her hair was pulled back in a pony tail with green ribbons hanging down. She looked adorable!!! (I should have taken a pic for ya all...oops!!! Later!!!) Then it hit me...OMW today is St. Patrick's day!!! LOL I had chosen green without even realizing it!!! So cRaZy-weird!!! I would ALMOST say it was a God thing; but does God celebrate this pagan holiday?!?!?!? LOL  Soooooooooo today is the day I celebrate my IRISHNESS!!! This evening we are going over to my mom's for the typical St. Patrick's meal of corned beef, cabbage and potatos. Yum, yum!!! =)

Yup, yup, thats right, I am half Irish!!! I know thats hard to believe since I just look SOOOOOO Italian!!! HAHA!!! ;) My mom likes to tease me that I am not dark enough to be Italian!!!! HA! :P ( I am Italian on the INSIDE!!!) The honest truth is that I think of myself as more Italian because it's more the way I was raised. What I have learned about Irish people is that they LOVE to drink, dance and PARTY!!!! RFLOL!!!! So in some ways (Not the drinking!!!) I think that perhaps I am more Irish than I realized!

This is what I have discovered about myself; My looks are Irish. My eating and cooking are Italian BUT anyone that knows me KNOWS that I LOVE to PARTY!!! (Woot, woot!!! Lets get this party started is my motto!!! Right Cara?!?) As for the dancing...Hmmm...I ummmm...PLEAD THE 5TH!! Well, but of course I dance in the spirit at church, eh!!! (Just don't ask my brother about any of our late night escapades in the middle of the night, while he was in the hospital!!!!)

Sooooooo yeah...I really have NO idea why we celebrate this holiday, except that its kinda fun and my mom makes a REALLY good meal!!! (Ok I think corned beef and cabbage and potatoes is the ONLY good Irish meal there is, but HEEEEY!!! LOL) Soooooooo yup, I am embracing my Irishness!!!

My kids...

These are the kinda kids we got riding in the car with us; We are all, which is quite a few kids, singing together, "He's got the whole world in his hands, the whole world in his hands. He has Mommy and Daddy in his hands. He has the itty bitty baby in his hands. He has the people in Africa, in his hands...etc... All of the sudden they break out with a new verse;He has CIRCLE K and WAL-MART, in his hands, Circle K and Wal-mart, in His hands!!! HAHA!!! Then it started going into Food City and McDonald's in his hands, Taco Bell and Goodwill in his hands...Oh man I love those kids!!! They just keep me rolling!!!!

Resturaunt Food Review #1

Okaaaay soooooooo I have decided to start giving my opinon on resturaunts because I love going and trying new things and places. I thought I would delight you all with my not-so-humble opinion on the matters!!! ;)Soooooo here is the first one...

Grimaldi's Pizzeria
(Located in Old Town) www.grimaldispizzeria.comOkay after this first pic I got say right off that I was NOT impressed with the decorations!!! Blah, blah, blah!!!

The pizza was GOOD!!! Its a thin-crust, New Yorks style pizza. Very flavorful, but the crust was a little to hard. Overall...Mmmmm!
We got Italian sausage, with onions and ricotta cheese for toppings on ours...Nice!!!

Then for an apetizer we got some kinda antipasto stuff that you put on bread. It was kind good at the moment cause I was starving BUT not very flavorful and the bread was like dry. It was kinda weird the cheese and I gotta say I just wasn't digging it!!!

For dessert we got some cheesecake that was good, but not as good as my little brother's!! WHATEVER you do, don't tell him that I just said that!!! It will go to his head and he will get TOTALLY full of himself!!! (Kinda like me!!!;)

Sooooo overall what is my opinion of this place? It is good, but not OMW-SOOOO-DELICIOUS!!!! If I was given another gift card or someone wanted to take me there I would soooooo go!!! But until this is the way I feel...
As our cute, blond-haired, dimple-cheeked-server, handed us our cheesecake, I smiled sweetley and said,
"You guys are ALMOST as good as NYPD!!!" He said, "ALMOST?!?!" I said, "ALMOST!!!" ;)

HAHAHA!!!! Look at the expression on Jimmy's face, he is like soooooooo excited about the kiss!!! See, they all popped their streamers AND everything AND they are STILL kissing!!! LOL I'll have to get a better pic where you can actually see their faces but MAN!!!!!!! Janelle was sooooooo cute to because she said she kept telling Sam, "I don't know how to do this! I don't know how to do this!!!" Awwww! Then afterwards when I was talking to them, I was like DUDE Sam, that was like the LONGEST kiss EVER and she was like, "Really? It didn't seem that long!!!!" Awwwww!!!!!

Praising God...

Last night in bible class, I was teaching my girls about getting the Holy Ghost. I was telling them about how after you repent you just need to start worshipping God. I asked if they understood what worshipping was and I could tell by their blank stares that they didn't have a clue!!! So I thought HMMMMM...How am I gonna get through to them what it is, then it hit me how I could explain it to them and in a way that EVERY girl(and person) can understand. I said worshipping God is like giving God compliments. Like when someone says they like your shirt or you have pretty eyes or you did a good job on your project. Well, I said that worshipping God is the same way. You just give God compliments, like, God you are so good. Thank you for taking care of me. Your sooooo wonderful. Your and awesome God. Your sooooo beautiful and your love amazes me. Thank you for your forgivness. And it was cool because I think they really understood it and God just gave me that thought like right on the spot. I think He must of known that it was something I could relate with as well...

This is my newest purse and adorable XOXO purse that I got this past weekend at Ross. I saw it AND just HAD to have it. It was 27 bucks which is kinda expensive BUT I wanted it soooooooo bad that I didn't even hesitate to pay it!!! Anyways, the purse is just me!!! LOL Thats why I LOOOOOVE it!!! ;)

Feeling COOL!!!

Right now, at this very moment, I am feeling QUITE cool!!! Why? Because, tonight Vanessa Abbott and I cooked for our church's monthly ladies of Legacy class, Vanessa made baked potato soup and I made my chicken salad...AND the thing that made me feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool is that MY PASTOR'S wife asked me how I make it!!! LOL That made me feel very cool!!! I know, I know, I am SUCH a dork but HEEEEY I am was honored!!! And basically everyone loves my chicken salad and people were telling me that they just couldn't stop eating AND yes I realize right now that I am bragging!!! But you guys don't understand just how cool I feel when people like what I cook!!!!!!! You see I have this problem, where I will make a recipe and it comes out AWESOME!!! I mean it will taste LIKE soooooooooo good. So I start bragging about it and all that jazz. Then I make it again and I don't know WHAT happens but it is like a disaster or something!!!!!!!!! I know I should just shutup and stop talking about it but I NEVER do!!! RFLOL When I make something good my brothers will like beg me NOT to talk about it so that it will be good again the next time...but...alas...I havn't acomplished that yet!!! Pride goeth before the fall; a hautey spirit before destruction...However, my chicken salad NEVER fails me!!!!!! It is true to me NO MATTER what!!! Thanks chicken salad!!! ;)

"A Smile is the prettiest thing you can wear!" But a really cute headband helps too!!! LOL Yup, yup!!! This is my new really, really cute headband that EVERYONE seems to LOVE!!! No, in case your wondering, I did not make it. I got it at...are you ready for this? Drumroll please...here we go...THE CHILDREN'S PLACE!!! LOL Yes, I got it at a little kid's store, which I think is QUITE fitting for me!!! HA! ;) I was with my sis a couple of weeks ago and she was shopping for my niece and I saw it and JUST HAD TO HAVE IT!!! I mean it was seriousley like love man!!! Sooooooo as soon as I got paid that week I headed to the mall and paid the $5 bucks for it-actually I guess it was only 2.50 since they were 2for5 but the other headband I don't really like, I just got it for the deal. Sooooooo yeah...I think i have seriousley gotten MORE compliments on that headband than ANYTHING in my whole entire life!!! When I where it everyone that sees me is just like, "I like your headband! Thats really cute. So colorful. Thats totally you! Blah, blah, blah, etc..." Of course that just makes my love toward the thing grow even more!!! I seriously think that I should glue it permanatley to my head and where it FOREVER!!!

Sob! Sob!!!!

My heart is saddened at such awful news...MY HOT PINK CAMERA BROKE!!!!!Okay well now here is the WEIRD part...it still actually takes pictures. The problem is that the screen broke so I can't see what I am taking pictures of!!! Augh!!!! Soooooo I still try!!! LOL Gotten a few decent ones actually!!! The thing that I miss the most is being able to take pics of myself!!! HAHAHA! YES, you heard me right...thats what I like to do when I am bored. NO ONE can take a better picture of myself, than me! I am my own best photographer!!!
I know, I know, I am just soooooooooo FULL OF IT!!! But what can I say, thats just ME!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!! ;)
