No REALLY, I did! LOL Okay, okay let me tell you all about him. So it's the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday here in AZ and my sis and I get up WAY early to hit the sales at Wal-mart! (No we were not part of the trampling crowd!!! That's INSANE!) First, we go to Wal-mart and when we are done there we head across the street to Target. Now when we get to Target it is CRAZY packed. My goal is to find this digital camera for my neice put out by PlaySkool. (Yeah, I know she is TOTALLY spoiled!!) The camera is normally 50 bucks and is on sale for 20. Its a real camera but special made for kids. So like you can drop it and all that jazz and it won't break. (Maybe I should get one for myself!)
.
So I am searching all over for this thing and Its not in electronics. So I am trying to NICLEY shove pass people to find it when I see a sales lady that works for Target. I ask her where it is and she is like Ummmmm....(Basically she has NO idea!) Then all of the sudden this guy whirls around in the midst of the crowd and starts helping me look for it in the ad. I am like OKAY does this guy like work here or what?!?! BUT he didn't?! He was a customer in the middle of trying to find his own stuff! He is like Oh I bet it is in the toy section on and end cap towards the end of toys and he like wants to take me over there to get it and the sales lady comes back and tells me where she thinks it is and its in the total opposite direction of what he said. So i follow the sales lady and he zooms off to find his stuff. Turns out the sales lady was wrong, so I am just like oh okay I will keep looking. So I just kinda browse into the toy section and go to the spot that the guy told me to go too and what do you know...THERE is THE CAMERA!!! And there were only two left. I was just kinda standing there with my mouth hangin open. I couldn't believe HE HAD DROPPED EVERYTHING he was doing to HELP ME!!! I wanted to thank the guy for helping me but he was nowhere around and I wasn't about to search the crowd for him.
.
Now every girl I have told this story too including my mom and MYSELF is like. "Maybe he was an angel." Of course all the guys are like; "Oh BROTHER!!!" My lil brother was like oh yeah I am soooooooo sure an angel has NOTHING better to do than help you find a digital camera for your spoiled lil neice that is already getting a ton of stuff for Christmas!!!" LOL And I gotta kinda agree with him there...BUT still...LOL
.
Anyways, He was a really, really, NICE guy!!! LOL All the girls are like so was he really good looking or WHAT?! I am like you know what thats the thing; he was cute, but he wasn't really someone that would stand out in a crowd. BUT because he was SOOOOOOO nice it made him REALLY cute!!! LOL I think that must be how Jesus was, Not like Mr. Mchottie and not someone that really stands out in a crowd, but he was just like SOOOOO nice!!!
.
So guys this is my advice to you; You may not be the best looking guy in the world, you may not stand outin a crowd, BUT just keep being NICE! Doing good deeds can make you A LOT CUTER!!! LOL Believe me, Kindness and CONSIDERATION goes a long ways when trying to impress a girl! (Well at least it does for me! But then again I am NOT exactley NORMAL!!! HAHA!)
.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO what do you all think? Was this guy my Christmas angel or just a really nice guy???!!! ;)

My Thankful list!!!
Today is Thanksgiving! One of my all time favorite holidays. Every year I try to take time to remember all the things that I am thankful for. However, right now I am laughing as I look over the list I wrote when I was a hyper-flirty-boy-crazy-14-year-old. The list goes something like this:
I am thankful for...
Boys
Cute boys
Handsome boys
Cowboys
Tall boys
Short boys
Funny boys
Serious boys
Interesting boys
Preacher boys
Fat boys
Skinny boys
White boys
Black boys
Aisian boys
Hispanic boys
Smart boys
Stupid boys
Basketball boys
Biker boys
Truck boys
And the list goes on and on and on...
I remember showing it to everyone at our Thanksgiving feast and they would all laugh at my craziness. Even pastor got quite the chuckle out of it when he read my Thankful list. But that was all a long, long time ago. So much has happened in my life since then.
.
I started writing stories. Got my first job. I flunked my first class. Had my first banquet date. I graduated from highschool. Quit my job. Took classes at college. Found a new job. Was the guestbook attendant in a friends wedding. Quit the new job. Wrote for the college newspaper. Passed Math 090 after 5 attempts. Smiled as I saw my biggest crush get married. Learned not to give up. Quit my new job. Found out my little brother had cancer. Got scared. Found peace. Spent many nights in the hospital. Learned to laugh in the face of adversity. Fell-in-love. Learned how to cook. Got a broken heart. Got mad. God sad. Learned it's okay to cry. Fell down. Got up. Learned to trust in God. Decided to remain single forever. Saw a cute guy. Quickley changed my mind. Got a good job. Became a nanny. Answered the call of God. Started doing outreach. Struggled with letting go. Became a soulwinner. Let God have control. Got the victory. Did a dance. Smiled. Got a prayer life. Held babies in my arms. Changed many diapers. Wiped snotty noses. Asked God to heal my broken heart. Started losing weight. Kept the same job for four and a half years. Got a compliment. Smiled. Laughed. Kept bringing kids to church. Got my heart healed. Found my joy. Joined Weight Watchers. Heard people make fun of me. Learned to forgive. Went shopping. Learned how to do my hair. Was a bridesmaid twice. A maid-of-honor once. Did someones hair that was sooooo long it was dragging on the ground. Became a Sister-in-law. Became an Aunt. Flew across the ocean. Explored the Philipines. Told someone about Jesus. Fell in love with NYC! Cried when my grandpas died. Got a raise in my job. Got called RESPONSIBLE and RELIABLE. Got the lighthouse award. Became a Sunday School teacher. Been to Sea World a million kajillion times. Fell-in-love with Jesus. Wiped away someone's tears. Learned that life goes on. Discovered I really, really like being me!!! ;)
.
WOW! It's Amazing to me that ALL this has happened to me since I was 14. I have a lot to be thankful for. So on this Thanksgiving day I pull out my pen and I begin to laugh as I write out my thankful list because I realize that after all this time and after all I have been through, NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED!!!
. I still thank God for...
.
