Right before a diamond!!!

Whenever I see this picture below, it is inspiring to me in so many ways. I could for sure write more than one idea from this. However today I want to take it from a SINGLES aspect!!!
I was thinking about how often over the years I have seen my peers set out in life searching for their spouse, the one that they can fulfill the will of God with. However, along the way they begin to get frustrated. They've been waiting and waiting and waiting and all they can see is a continuous dirt wall in front of them. What they always wanted seems to be an impossibility, so they give up and settle in marriage when they could have had a diamond if they JUST would have WAITED!!!
I was thinking about one friend of mine. A beautiful, Godly, talented young lady. I remember us going to a conference together several years ago and at the conference this beautiful friend of mine began to get attention from a young man. The way I saw it, he was one of those guys that was just, "alright" if you know what I mean! At first I didn't think my friend would look twice at him, but as the conference went on, I could tell she was beginning to like him. This left me perturbed, I didn't think this guy was on the same level spiritually as my friend, it wasn't that he was a bad guy, he just wasn't where she was spiritually in her walk with God.
However, when my friend got back from the conference, she used her head, prayed about it and just let the friendship go. A little over a month later, an amazing, annointed man of God noticed her and her Godliness and walked into her life. He was everything she could have ever hoped for and more...He was her DIAMOND!!! It gives me chills to think how she ALMOST had fools gold, when she was SO CLOSE to a diamond.
I recently came across a saying that I absolutely LOVE!!!
"God has someone special for you, but if your not careful, you'll be married by the time you meet them!"
WOW!!! That speaks volumes to me!!! Wait FOR A DIAMOND!!! I'm not talking about pickiness in the sense of materialistic or a physical sense, of course any man has to have A JOB and we all want to be attracted to the person, but what i'm really emphasizing is spirituality. YOU KNOW where you are spiritually in your walk with God.
My single friends, you just never know what's right around the corner for you. It may seem like an endless plight, nothing but a dirt wall in front of you, trust me, I KNOW how you feel, but JUST KEEP GOING!!!It may seem discouraging when all you can see is a dirt wall, buuuuuuuuuut a dirt wall IS what's RIGHT BEFORE A DIAMOND!!!  You just never know who it is, it could be someone that you've never met, or someone sitting right under your nose and you never even saw it. Keep digging against that dirt wall, along the way your going to find some fools gold, don't even bother with it, don't give up, KEEP GOING FOR THAT DIAMOND!!!

Twice Baptized!!!

As a newborn baby I was sprinkled with "Holy Water" and baptized into the Catholic church!!!
Buuuuuuuuuut one day, as a 6-year-old girl, I was RE-baptized in the name of Jesus...Just like the Bible says!!!! (Acts 2:38)Annnnnnd this time all my sins were washed away!!!
I'll never forget it, as long as I live!!! My baptism took place in the Abbott's pool and I remember the water was SOOOOO COLD!!! As soon as my head came up out of that water I started to get out of the pool. And Bro. Abbott was like, Wait a minute, You can't just get out, you've got to worship God first!!! AHAHA!!! That's what's going on in that first square!!! Them my mom got me and my sister corsages because we were both baptized...I felt so special that day!!!
I can't stop thanking God for this truth!!! Every time I pray I thank God for finding me!!! It may be redundant, but I can't ever stop thanking God, That someone had a burden, that someone answered the call, that someone was a witness, that someone preached, that someone taught!!!
God only knows where I'd be...
Thank YOU JESUS that my family found YOU!!!

Complimenting the cook!!!

Sooooo the other day I'm washing the dishes and I'm washing the Tupperware that my sis had taken her lunch in that day!!! And the EMPTY container and the fragrant aroma of whatever had in there was wafting to my nose!!! I'm thinking, Hmmmm...I wonder what she ate??? Soooo I'm like, this container smells SOOOOO GOOD, what did you have in it to eat???
She's like taco salad!!! Im like OOOOH with the taco meat that I made she's like YES!!! I'm like OH, wait so did I just compliment myself on my own cooking with out even realizing it??? She's like, YUP! PRETTY MUCH!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! That's soooooo ME!!! What can I say, when you got it, YOU GOT IT!!! ;) ;) ;)
Annnnnnd my taco meat IS pretty bomb-diggity-awesome!!!

Can I tell you all a secret about my taco meat??? Of COURSE I CAN!!! My taco meat is ACTUALLY DIET FOOD!!! When my friend Kim was living with us, I was on a REALLY STRICT DIET!!! (Getting back to that again! Yay! GO ME!!!) Well, her and my sister were FINE with me being on this really strict diet, as long as I would STILL cook good, regular, NON-diet food for them!
Weeeeeeellll let me tell you something...this girl DON'T EAT NASTY FOOD!!! I despise the "Normal" diet type stuff!!! IF i'm gonna eat it, its gonna taste good, or else its NOT even worth my time!!! When I cook I use A LOT of vegetables and spices...Everything I cook has got to have flavor blandness!!!
Sooooo I OF COURSE I figured out how to make my diet food taste, AMAZING!!! To the point that my sis and Kim would be like, smells good in here, what are you cooking in here??? I'de say, DIET FOOD!!! Annnnnd I'd make myself these little tacos from the lowest calorie corn tortillas and they would say, those look SOOOO GOOD! And I'd say, yeah, ITS DIET FOOD!!!
Then one day I decided to be NICE and let them talk me into trying MY DIET FOOD!!! Annnnnd weeeeeeelllll they were waaaaaaaaay SOLD on MY TACOS!!!  The biggest compliment was when I got Anali's approval!!! She was all like, Idk Mary, my dad is a REALLY good cook...buuuuut SHE LOVED THEM!!! She's like its weird, they don't taste like Mexican tacos at all, buuuut they are still really, really good!!! Thus they became known as, Mar Bear Tacos!!! Flavor beyond measure!!!
For all those people that say, "White girls can't cook!" I've set out to PROVE THEM WRONG!!! Annnnd I have to say, to be HONEST, I think MY TACOS are one of my favorite things to eat!!! Actually, I LOVE ALL MY FOOD!!! I'm MY OWN biggest temptation!!! YES REALLY, I did just say that!!! Hee, hee!!!  Fo realz, so far this week I've not eaten my own chicken pot pie, my own chicken and dumplings... breakin MY HEART...its HARD PEOPLE!!! Why oh WHY GOD, did you have to make me sooooooooooo GOOD???? ;)))) AHAHAHAHA!!! Jusssssssssssst KIDDDDDDDING!!!
Mar Bear Tacos on Sunday!!!

Fried Rice????

Okaaaaaaaaay this story just cracks me up!!! Its NOT even MY STORY, buuuuut its soooooo funny I have to share it!!! So my sister works for some Chinese people and the mom was telling her that they were traveling at Christmas time to visit family and that they were taking a box with like some kind of expensive meat that they couldnt' get wherever they were going.
So she says that they're going through security and the worker asks her a question about her box. AND she THOUGHT that he asked her if she had any FRIED RICE in there? And she was like, EXCUSE ME??? What did you say to me???? And the workers like, "Do you have any DRY ICE in there??? And she goes OH, I thought you asked me if I had any FRIED RICE in there???
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That seriously CRACKS me up!!!
Do you have any FRIED RICE???
♥Mary Frances :)
P.S. I dont' get WHY certain ethnicities get offended when you relate a certain kind of food to them!!! If someone asked me if I had pasta in my suitcase...I would NOT get mad!!! ITALIANS BE PROUD!!! Plus There's PROBALBY a good chance there actually IS!!! AHAHAHA!!!

Blog post clarification!!!

Soooooo I wanted to clarify something that was Biblically incorrect in a post I recently wrote, The common denominator between Ethiopians and Italians!!!! In this post I originally stated that both of these men were Gentiles. Buuuuut my wonderful Ethiopian friends corrected me. The Ethiopian man ACTUALLY wasn't a gentile, in actuality he was a Jew, he was on his way to the temple to worship when Philip met him. Which makes sense now to me because I was wondering WHY Philip didn't freak out about bringing the gospel to him like Peter freaked out about bring the message to Cornelious! Buuuuuuuut they said that the Ethiopian man was THE FIRST BLACK MAN!!! Which OBVIOUSLEY is equally significant in MY WORLD!!! Whoop! Whoop!!! Anywayz, I just wanted to let you all know that, I don't want to be Biblically incorrect in my writing!!! Annnnnd the point is still the same!!! They had HUNGER!!!

Happy Birthday Mommy Poo!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Birthday to THE BEST mom in the whole world!!! There is NO one like MY MOM!!! I was thinking the other day how growing up, THE Ginty kids ALWAYS had THE BEST school projects!!! All the other kids would be like in AW of ours...and she would make stuff out of what was literally TRASH...oatmeal containers, toilet paper rolls, ANYTHING!!! And she did all that BEFORE Pinterest people!!!
Buuuuuut most importantly, she's the one that told me about Jesus!!! I can honestly say that I'm everything I am, because of this woman's strong, unwavering convictions and FAITHFULNESS to God, no matter what the circumstances!!!

God wants your bacon!!!

I was reading this the other day and it totally cracked me up...
A pig and a chicken were walking by a church .where a gala charity event was taking place. Getting caught up in the spirit, the pig suggested to the chicken that they each make a contribution.
“Great idea!` the chicken cried. “Let’s offer them bacon and eggs!"
"Not so fast,” said the pig testily. “For you, that’s a contribution. For me, it’s a total commitment!!!"
So after I had a good laugh, I couldn't  help but think, how often do we just give God a CONTRIBUTION of ourselves. Yes, the chicken was giving of herself, but it wasn't her everything. It was what she had produced that she was giving of. When the chicken gives her eggs, she may miss them, but at the end of the day, she's still there, she's still alive, she's still breathing.
On the other hand, for the pig to donate his bacon, it was a total sacrifice. For the pig to give his bacon, he had to give his all. There was NOTHING else left once it gave the bacon. His life as a pig was OVER!!! There is a difference between us giving God a contribution of our self and really giving God OUR ALL!!!
So often we sing the song, ♪♪I will give you all, I will give you all, IF ALL is what you ask of me, THEN I will NOT withhold..."♪ Buuuuut soooo often we ARE withholding! There are parts of us that we have NOT really released to God and said I don't know whats going to happen, BUUUUUT I'm trusting IN YOU!!!! I'm going ALL THE WAY WITH YOU JESUS!!!
ABRAHAM GAVE GOD HIS ALL!!! The Bible says,
"By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure." (Hebrews 11:17-19)
WHEN Abraham OBEYED God and gave him Issac it was MORE than just him giving up his son. You can say well it wasn't ABRAHAM sacrificing himself to God, it was his son! NO, you don't understand, Abraham had a promise from God that out of this son would come the many nations like the stars in the sky and the grains of sand by the sea. By obeying God and laying Issac on the altar, he was willing to give God back His promise. He was laying his own hopes dreams on the altar as a sacrifice to God. Abraham trusted God and laid it all down...
"And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only sonfrom me. (Genesis 22:12)
Are you willing to give  up your plans, your hopes,  your dreams in life? When you give God your ALL, there is NO GOING back!!! Its NOT just giving God what you've produced of yourself, your talents or the fruits of your labor, its NOT just a contribution like the hen and her eggs. When  You give God your ALL and  I mean REALLY GIVE HIM YOUR ALL, there is NO GOING BACK, because there is NOTHING left for you to go back too, because you gave it ALL to God. God doesn't just want WHAT you can DO for Him. He doesn't just want your prosper. God wants YOU!!! ALL OF YOU!!!
♫♫♪And IF my sacrifice is LESS♪♫ than giving you my very best, help me remember Calvary's cost, and be willing to say yes♪♪♫♪
Think about it, when Jesus sacrificed himself for us; They beat Him! They spit on Him!!! The scourged him! He was whipped! He was mocked!!! He SUFFERED!!! He BLED!!! He DIED!!! HE GAVE US HIS ALL!!! And God did ALL THAT, HOPING that we would give him OUR ALL!!! He doesn't just want  your contribution...
"Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."(1 John 3:16)

Roach ALERT!!!!

Okaaaaay sooooo Saturday night I thought I saw a ROACH in the kitchen...You all KNOW how I feel about ROACHES...THEY ARE EVIL!!! So I saw one in the kitchen but I decided that instead of telling my sis I would just wait to see if it disappeared....say what ever you want but my sis and I have a deal that if she kills them...I HAVE TO CLEAN IT UP!!! I happen to be scared to do BOTH!!!
Soooooo I figured that instead of telling my sis I would just go talk to Hanna on the phone and hope that by the time I was done that the roach would be GONE!!! Weeeeeeeelllll after me and Hanna talked for like an hour, I decided to go check and see if the roach was gone... IT WAS NOT!!!
When I sleathily peeked around the corner at it, much to my surprise it was in the SAME EXACT spot...I thought that was odd!!! So I got a litte closer and really looked at it!!!
When  I looked closer this time,
I realized WHY it hadn't moved!!!
What I had THOUGHT was antennas was ACTUALLY strands of HAIR!!!

The common denominator between Ethiopians and Italians!!!

Ethiopians and Italians share one common thing that no other ethnicity can take claim to!!! What they have in common makes them extra AWESOME!!! And I'm NOT just talking about our love for coffee and our good looks!!! Hee, hee! ;)  Ethiopians and Italians share something more...HUNGER!!! Yes, yes, we are a very hungry people, But I'm not talking about pasta and injera, I'm talking about hunger for God!!!
Because the Ethiopian man  was the first black man and a Italian man was THE FIRST gentile, fully non-Jewish, to receive the gospel message of salvation. Before them, it had been exclusively brought to the Jews. Although it was passed the Samaritans, the Samaritans, although looked down upon by the Jews because they were mixed, were still considered somewhat Jewish people.
In Acts chapter 8 we read about and Ethiopian man that was so hungry for the gospel message, that God brought a preacher to him!!! "And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert." (Acts 8:26) This man was HUNGRY for God. When Philip found him, he found him studying the scriptures. He was searching, he was seeking. God knew that this man was hungry and he brought someone to him. "Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus." (Acts 8:35) This man's hunger got him what he wanted from God. And when the Ethiopian man heard the truth, he did not question it, he simply obeyed and was baptized. "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing." (Acts 8:39)  This Ethiopian man is the first recorded Gentile man to be baptized...HIS HUNGER GOT HIM THERE!!!
Meanwhile in Caesarea, there was another Gentile man hungry also for God.
"There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band" (Acts 10:1) (Its after this scripture that my mom usually starts shaking her tambourine...bahaha!!!) Cornelius was a hungry man and although the Bible doesn't specifically say what he was seeking God for, I imagine in my mind that he had heard about these Jews that had gotten the Holy Ghost and he wanted WHAT THEY HAD!!!  The Bible says that he sought God daily until one day God said today is the day your going to get what you have hungered for. "And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God." (Acts 10:4)
Meanwhile, God was telling Peter, the man of God, the preacher to go to Cornelius. Peter didn't want to go, Peter the man that preached on the day of Pentecost, was a prejudice man. He thought that this Holy Ghost was only for them. But God told him, "And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." And Peter even told this to Cornelius in verse 29; "And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean." Then Peter began to preach that same gospel message, "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." (43)  And the Jewish people were ASTONISHED at what happened next... "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." (44)
The Jews couldn't believe it, to think that this gift REALLY was for everyone!!!
"And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.   For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?" (Acts 10:45-47)
You think about how these two men didn't stop their circumstances and their places in life stop them from getting what they wanted from God. You don't hear them griping and complaining, Its not fair that the Jews got it and I didn't! That's wrong! Its because of the color of my skin and I'm not a pastor's kid, they're playing favorites, and blah, blah, blah... NO! The Ethiopian just kept reading the scriptures, Cornelius just kept on praying. They simply, despite man's perception of them, HUNGERED after the things of God. I imagine them, God we know we're not Jews, but would you do it for us?
And I just want to say that your circumstances don't matter if you'll truly HUNGER after God. If you decide that no matter what so-and-so said, no matter what man did me wrong, your not going to rant and vent, your simply going to FIND a place to seek God. God's not seeing what your last name is or what you look like, he's saying, NOW THERE IS A HUNGRY PERSON and TODAY, i'm going to fill them!!! "...God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34)
Those times when your so hurt and your so confused but you just say, God no matter what, I want YOU! Its YOU that I want Jesus! I've GOT to HAVE you God! I've got to have your touch! I've got to have your favor! I've got to have your blessings! I've got to have your anointing! I know i'm not worthy, but God don't pass me by! Your hunger will NOT go unnoticed by God. Your hunger for God will change life circumstances.
Two hungry men, one Ethiopian and one Italian, CHANGED the course of history, so that we to can now have this precious gift. You want to see things happen???? Stop griping and complaining...GET HUNGRY!!!
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
(Matthew 5:6)

The Hoods...

The Bible says to give honor to whom honor is due, so I wanted to take a brief moment and do that here today. As many of us have heard about the death of Bro. Hood, I wanted to post a link on here for a website dedicated in honor of him. Although I did not ever meet him face to face or know him personally, I was blessed with his preaching and his family's ministry this past June at Pacific Coast Camp. There were some specific things he said that were directly to me from God! Also, I don't think any of us Pacific Coast Campers will forget cheering when he made a reference to Adventure's in Odyssey during one of his sermons and me going wild when he said his favorite character was Wooton. Not only was Bro. Hood an anointed preacher he was also a very fun preacher!
Bro. Hood's death was an extreme shock to everyone and is a reminder to us all that we need to live our lives like Bro. Hood did, ready at any moment to walk into heaven. It also urges us to realize that we ONLY have one life and we better make it count for Christ.
On the website you will find many different things showing this man of God's life. You will also find a link where you can listen to many of his preaching messages. I've been listening to these messages all day and you WILL BE BLESSED if you listen!!! Click HERE to go to the website!!!
Bro. Hood was very young and left behind a beautiful wife and an adorable little girl.  Sis. Hood has some difficult health problems therefore is not able to work. They are in need of financial help. If God has blessed you or if he lays it upon your heart here is a direct link to donate to them.  You can also find her CD on iTunes for $10, look for Carmen Hood, this is another way of helping support this family. Even if you don't personally know the Hoods, we are all a part of the family of God, therefore this is not a stranger we are helping, this is our SISTER!!!

Proverbs 31 woman???

Have you ever wondered if your a Proverbs 31 woman???  I mean, I sure don't see myself EVER planting a vineyard or seeking wool or laying my hand to the spindle and I've ever known a woman that did ALL these things!!!  Soooooo HOW do you know that your a PROBERBS 31 woman????
Well I recently read a blog post from a married friend, Sis. Kathy McElhaney, I would link her blog but her blog is for EXCLUSIVE readers only, hee, hee!!! Anywayz, she was saying in her post that she seen often times many woman think they can never measure up to the Proverbs 31 example of virtue.
However, this part of the scripture went through her mind, The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her... and she realized that her husband just trusts her to do and take care of the things he needs her to do. And she said she came to the conclusion, "I am that virtuous woman!" and it made her feel so good!!!  She ends her post by saying, just ask yourself, "does my husband trust me?"  If the answer is yes, rest assured that everything else pales.  You ARE a virtuous woman!
Soooooo I read all that and thought, OH THATS COOL!!! Then I thought...
Annnnnnd as soon as I thought that in my head, my mind was immediately REDIRECTED to Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."
Emphasis on
AHAHAHAHA!!! Buuuuut, Like HELLLLLLOOOO DUH!!!  A virtuous woman is HARD TO FIND...I AM virtuous! So much so I haven't even been FOUND!!! Woot! Woot!!!
When I get married, I know that the heart of my husband WILL trust in me!!! Buuuuuut until he finds me, I'm ROCKIN that 10th scripture...just ROCKIN IT PEOPLE!!!  Purrrrrrrr!!! ;)

My Disneyland-haunted-mansion-adventure!!!

So when I was about 13 or 14 years old my family went with the Abbott's family to Disneyland on the way to PSR( which is now WCC) So as sooooon as we got there, us older kids pretty much went off on our own, leaving "The babies" with my mom and Bro. and Sis. Abbott. (The babies were my two younger brothers and Denae! LOL!) Sooooooo since we were on our OWN, we decided we would risk going on the haunted mansion ride...Oooooooooo! Cause we were just like SOOOO cool! LOL
If you have ever ridden this ride, you know that its really NOT that scary...BUT things just ALWAYS seem to happen with ME!!! Soooo I end up seated with Devi and like the WHOLE time I'm just like whooping, hollering and screaming just to be obnoxious and try and scare the people behind me! WEEEEEEEELLLL... we get to the end of the ride and it like slows down and you can see in these electronic mirrors ghosts and its supposed to look in the mirror like they are sitting RIGHT in between you and the other passenger...but I'm just whatever...its all fake..this is lame...totally trying to scare other people.
The more and more we get closer to the end...I am trying to like reach out and touch the ghosts but of course I can't because its an electronic image. So at one point we come to this COMPLETE stop...We are just sitting OF COURSE I get bored! I look up and see this statue like SOOOO close to us! I'm like OH COOL! I tell Devi, as I reach my hand out to touch the statue..."LOOK AT THIS ONE!!! this statue looks SOOOOOOOOOOO REAL!" And as my hand starts touching the statues cheek, the statue...LOOKS AT ME and says...
"Thats because I AM REAL!"
I screamed SOOOOOOOOOOOO LOUD!!! It WAS A MAN!!! A REAL, LIVE, BREATHING MAN!!! Like some  construction worker or something!!! I was like sooooooooo freaked out for like 15 seconds....then of course HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER!!!!
I still can't believe I was like touching some man's cheek!!! I wonder what he was thinking??? BAHAHAHA!!! AnywayZ, Leave it to me to NOT be scared of the ACTUAL ride buuuut then ending up SCARING MYSELF!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Such a CLASSIC MARY MOMENT!!! Hee, hee!!!

The truth about being used...

I remember it was as a 13-year-old that I really began to have a desire to be USED by God. I remember standing at the front of the church with my best friend singing, ♪If you can use anything Lord, you can use me!♪ I remember all the urges from preachers to the young people at conferences to come to the alter and pray to be used of God, AND I went up every time!
Jesus use me! I was so timid and quiet back then, most people didn't even know existed, BUT I had that desire in me!  I was just a child, but I would think, to be ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE that God uses, that would be soooo AMAZING! And in my mind I had this sort of glamorous perception of what it would be like to be USED BY GOD!
However, LAST night I was bringing home the family I had brought to church and the little girl had fallen asleep on the drive home. So I'm helping her mom carry her in to the house when I realized that she had wet her pants while sleeping in the back seat of my car....NOW MY SLEEVE WAS WET...aaaaaaaahhhhh...
And as I'm just driving along with my wet sleeve hanging out the window to dry, I thought,
What a misconception I had in my mind as a 13-year-old of what it was going to be like to be used by God. There I am yesterday, all decked out with my fur, my hair all done up in curls, my matching purse, but none of that really matters when your being used by God. It didn't matter HOW GOOD I looked yesterday, when it was all said and done, I'm NOTHING more than a little girl's pee rag!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The truth about being used by God is that its really a lot of sweat, tears, dirt, aggravation AND HARD WORK! At 13, no one ever told me about the smells I would be smelling in a church van. They never told me about the fights I would be breaking up on drives to and from church. They never told me about the parents that would be asking me to buy the baby milk or to pay bills or to borrow money or to watch their kids or pick their kids up from childcare so they wouldn't be taken away by CPS. They never told me about the chaos, the confusion, the drama of it all. They never told me about the heart break it might cause me and the tears I would cry weeping over souls I spent so much time working with that ended up walking away from God.
ANNNNND they most certainly NEVER told me I might end up a pee rag. AHAHAHA!!! :)
And yet, despite all my 13-year-old misconceptions of what it was going to be like to be used of God, my desire to be used of God is even stronger NOW at 31 then it was then. I still want to be ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE that God uses. Oh to see God transform lives through me, to see God save souls through me, to know that another person is in heaven, because I was a vessel, a tool in God's hands. To tell someone about Jesus and his love, I STILL WANT IT!!! Its STILL MY DESIRE!!!
My heart is still singing the same song I was singing at 13,
♪If you can use anything Lord, you can use ME... ♫
♪♪If you can use anything Lord,
