FIRE 🔥 EXTINGUISHERS 🧯 AND A BIG SISTER THAT DOESNT PANIC 😱 EVERY TIME I START A FIRE IN THE KITCHEN!!!! I run around screaming and she just calmly gets water 💦 and throws it on it and rolls her eyes 🙄 cuz i don’t know what to do, EVERY TIME!!!! 😂 😇 😂

Thanksgiving Appetizer!!!

Okaaaaaaaay you guys still have time to make THE PERFECT Thanksgiving appetizer, that’s unique, flavorful and still uses a traditional staple and it’s even healthyISH!!! 

We can’t stop eating it at my house 🏠!!!!

I put it on my sweet potato 🍠 for dinner last night…. i was sooooooooooo goooooooood!!!!!!

EVERYONE i’ve let try it is loving it!!! I brought some to my pastors wife at church last night and this is what she said after trying it…

I’ve sent my recipe to several friends that are going to make it for their families… WEEEEEEEELLLLL WHAT ARE you YIU WAITING FOR???? Go to the store and get your ingredients!!

Sooooooo quite a few years ago, when Odin was pretty little, before Thanksgiving, buuuuuut after Halloween, my little nephew O was talking to me and he started on his own accord saying that Halloween was YUCKY!!! My sister said she never said anything to him but when they would go to the store and he would see the Halloween stuff he would say, ewwwwww! I don't like it,  HALLOWEEN IS YUCKY!!! Which, in case you didn't know, it IS indeed YUCKY!!! I

Well one day when I was getting him ready for school in the morning, I asked him, Odin, do we celebrate Halloween?! He said, NOOOO!!! He shakes his little head, we don't celebrate Halloween! Halloween is YUCKY!!! Then he points to our fall pumpkins on the kitchen table says, 

WE CELEBRATE JESUSGIVING!!!

Isn't that the cutest thing everrrr!!!

Okaaaaayyy soooooo i absolutely loooooooove sunsets 🌅!!!! With the weather being nice i literally look up the sunset time every night to go for a walk at the park or a hike to see God’s evening painting 🖼️ in the sky!!!

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT….

Have you everrrrr wondered why some sunsets are beautiful and others are just whatever the very next day???

The scientific answer is actually pretty interesting, and has a lot to do with the ecosystem, landscape, and something called scattering. Small particles and molecules found in the atmosphere change the direction of light rays as the sun goes up, or down. The color of the scattered light is determined by the size of molecule or particle and the actual wavelength of light. Because Arizona is generally dry, dust particles are able to float effortlessly on the breeze so there's a lot of them available for scattering. More particles equal more color.

The vast amount of loose soil gracing our state means any day has the potential to throw out an amazing array of colors as the sun breaks the horizon. We know that loose particles and molecules in the air cause scattering. And what gets these particles up from their resting spots?

That's right... Wind! Windy days inspire the movement of particles from their sedimentary state and more of them are available in the sky to scatter light.

Also clouds ☁️ help and the best sunsets typically happen when you have mid and high-level clouds covering around 25% to 60% of the evening sky When the sun is setting, its light must travel through the thickest part of the atmosphere. This causes more scattering to occur. As a result, longer wavelengths are reflected (red, orange, and yellow), creating beautiful colours in the sky.

Single Saturday-guy advice!!!!

Years ago, I had a guy friend that was explaining a conflicting situation he was in with another young lady. He said, she wanted him to meet her at a coffee shop to just discuss something as friends. He didn't feel like this was a good idea because it may give people the wrong impression of them being in a relationship. Apparently, the girl was insistent, etc... (this is one of those girls that has IT'S COMPLICATED in her relationship status on every profile🙄) Now he was asking for MY ADIVCE!!! AHAHAHAAA!!!

To explain himself he said, MARY, If you saw me sitting in a quaint little café, talking with a single, godly, BEAUTIFUL young lady, what would you think?

I was liiiiiiike, hmmmmm, clarify to me, just how beautiful is she??? He says, absolutely, stunningly beautiful, even GORGOUS!!!

When it's supposed to be a 5 minute run buuuuuuuut you go the wrong way and the next thing you know your heading back to Phoenix---OOOOOOPS!!! I told JENNY TO DRIVE BUUUUT NOOOOO!!!! There was cops everywhere, Jenny was laughing and screaming, this is so fuuunnn, it's like I'm single, buuuut,  I don't have my license! What if border patrol comes??? I'm gonna miss my kids!!! I was liiiiike, don't worry, Ill talk our way out of this, i'm white enough for BOTH OF US!!! That was a BLAST, buuuuuuuuut Jenny, NEXT TIME YOUR DRIVING!!! 

Starbucks was a 30 minute drive-WHICH MEANS DEMING IS UNHABITABLE!!!

This was where we ended up driving to the night before because there were no exits to turn around till this gas station!!!

Soooooo remember when you were a little girl and you would walk around with your little baby stroller and pretend you were at the park with your baby or in the store??? Ok well to be honest, i was always TOO TALL for little girl pretend baby strollers, buuuuuuuut, i ALWAYS HAD MY BABY DOLLS WITH ME EVERY WHERE!!! Pretending to be out living the mom life!!! Something about the 20 chicken nuggets and someone dropped 10 of them on the grass but kept eating the rest!!! i was like ok i picked them up for you guys just shut up and EAT THEM!!!! Buuuuuuuuut Aunt Mary they were on the grass… if your REALLY HUNGRY YOU’’ll EAT THEM… buuuuut it was longer than. 10 seconds… okaaaaaay the 10 second rule is sooooooooooo old fashioned!!!!
