Love at first...

Do you believe in love at first sight? The other day I am at a clothing store paying for my purchase which was taking FOREVER to ring up my one item!!! LOL Soooo I was getting bored and noticed a box of Puffs tissues. Now Puffs or not just an ordinary tissue. When you have a bad cold Puffs are like a soft velvet blanket for your nose. So since I am bored I figure heeey why not blow my nose?!?! (I know I am crazy!;) So I get a tissue and start blowing!!! ;p As I am blowing, my nose is met with the most amazing, intoxicating aroma. Suddenly my nose is becoming clearer and I can breath better. I am amazed and filled with wonder! Its like my nose is having its own little Spa day!!! The cashier looks at me and smiles. "Yup they got Vicks lotion in them. I am addicted to them!!!" She says. WOW! I am totally blown away by these tissues!!! As she finally finishes ringing up my one item I look longingly back at the tissues. I give her my money. Should I take another one? She gives me my change and receipt. I don't need to blow my nose again it is totally empty by now. She hands me my bag. I look longingly at the Vicks Puffs Kleenex tissues, then walk away. About half way to the door the cashier says, "Go ahead, take another one!!!" Oh I am soooo happy! I grab it and put in my purse for later. When I get to the van my sis and niece are waiting for me. Being the nice person that I am I decided that I would share my tissue with my niece Marry Joe. Soooooo as I get in I am like Marry Joe I brought something for you!! She is all excited as I go into my purse I whip out the tissue and hand it to her. She just looks at it. What did you get me she asks. The tissue! I say. I don't want a tissue she says. I sigh NO Marrry Joe this is not just an ordinary tissue. This is a Vicks Puffs Kleenex tissue!!!! She just looks at me then shakes her head in disugust!!!! I just smile and snatch it back...Oh well I didn't really want to give it away anyways! Well I don't know if I believe in love at first sight but as I hold my tissue I do know one thing....

I believe in LOVE at first Sniff!!!! ;)

The Votaws!!!

He has preached all over the US, China, Taiwan, the Philipines, Vietnam and many more Asian countries. He preaches in underground churches in communism countries. He converted a man on death row in prison to Christ and 3 hours before that man died he baptized him in Jesus name. He prayed the first man in Vietnam to kill and americn soldier through to the Holy Ghost and Baptized him in Jesus name. He has converted trinitartin preachers all over to the Oneness doctrine...BUT ABOVE all else...I thank God that I TOO am ONE OF THOSE souls he reached out too...he gave 7 years of his life to New York City!!! I thank God that he answered the call!!! It wasn't until his 6th & final year as pastor there, that our family came into church...we were there for 9 months before we came to AZ and then right after that the Votaws left NYC for the mission fields of Asia...I THANK God that someone had a burden for NYC!!!

This is the woman that invited my Momma to a Pentecostal church!!! She told me that she was actually new in the church herself and that she would see my mom in the front yard of our house playing with us kids and she just wanted so badly for my mom to have what she had just recieved herself. It may have been just one person that she was witnessing to at that time, but that one person has had an affect on her own five children and now its her Grandchildren that are still recieving the blessing of Sis. Kathy's witness. 25 years ago, it wasn't just my mom...I may have only been two at the time, but it was ME she was winning too! I thank God she wasn't afraid to be a witness and that she didn't give up on my mom. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39) When you decide to live for God it doesn't just stop with you!
