Sooooooo when we were kids my Grandpa, Joe Mangino, Italian New Yorker, NYPD, Cook on the US Navy Ship, lived through the depression era, would suck the bone marrow out of chicken bones!!!

As a kid I would watch him just crack those bones open with his teeth and just suck everything out!!! I would just watch in utter amazement!!! I thought, man the inside of bones must taste SOOOOO GOOD!!!

Well one day I managed to break one of my chicken bones in half and just like Grandpa I started sucking out the marrow…

Much to my horror… it was soooooooo DISGUSTING!!!🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢 like literally I spit everything out!!! Idk what Grandpa was tasting buuuuuuut…my bones 🦴 would never be broken open again…annnnd remembering that today made me send this text to my brother…
