Sooooooooooo the other morning I was watching O cuz they started summer break and I woke up and I was liiiiiike, OMW I NEED COFFEE!!! Liiiiiiiike literally when I open my eyes in the morning I need caffeine FIRST THING!!!

So i'm like, Odin, quick, put on your shoes I need Dutch Bros!!! Weeeeeeeeeelllll MY PLAN was to get ME, just ME Dutch Bros...liiiiiiiike I do EVERY MORNING!!! A medium, sugar-free Cocomo, blended WITH AN EXTRA SHOT OF ESPRESSO!!! Well when I tell Odin to put on his shoes cuz we gotta run to Dutch bros... he lets out this whoooooooop!!!

I'm standing there just flabbergasted that he ASSUMED I meant I was getting us ALL Dutch Bros!!! Yet, he was soooooooooooo happy annnnnnnnnnd SOOOOO EXCITED, I just couldn't pop his bubble and say I was ONLY getting it for me!!! Because he was sooooo happy and excited, I just HAD TO GET HIM DUTCH BROS!!!

I was thinking in my head, THIS IS WHY parent's tell their kids that coffee stunts their growth...soooooo they do NOT have to feel guilty about NOT buying them one!!! Buuuuut of course Dutch Bros has PLENT of non-coffee drinks too soooooooo theres NO excuse there!!! I'm thinking I should make a rule when I have kids, no NON-water drinks until you have a job and can BUY YOUR OWN!!!

Ya know, IF Odin had been whining and asking me annoyingly to get him a drink, I would have been able to easily say NO!!! buuuuuuuuuuuuut becasue he JOYFULLY ASSUMED I was going to get him one, i just WENT AHEAD AND GOT HIM ONE!!!!

WHAT IF, we did that with God???What if we approached God JOYFULLY and EXCITEDLY assuming that he was going to just POUR OUT HIS BLESSINGS ON US??? What if when God was passing out blessings on someone else, we just got soooooooooooooooo excited for what God was going to do for us as well??? LIIIIIIIIIIKE, God is BLESSING...WOOOOOOOOOHOOOO!!!! LOOK WHAT GOD IS DOING FOR ME?!?!?! GOD YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! YEAH!!

I mean it worked for O, I was liiiiiiiiike, weeeeeeeeeellll how can i NOT get him Dutch Bros??? What do you think God will do if we just go to him EXPECTING GREAT THINGS!!! Next time you really need something, instead of whining to God about it and yes, like everyone, I do my share of WHINEY prayers, try a big O THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU JESUS!!!
