In November of this past year, I went with Jac and my sis and my niece to Maui! Well, on the second to last night of the trip, I decided that no MATTER what, I was gonna get up early the next morning, do my hair up all fancy, put on the flower crown this Hawiian lady had made me, walk out to the ocean and just take some pictures of myself and just enjoy my LAST morning in Maui. I was dead tired that night, it was already REALLY late and I KNEW that I was NOT gonna wanna get up early, let alone get up early and do my hair...BUT I did!
WELL...
I get out to the ocean by the resort we were staying at(Yeah, an ocean resort-Jac had one the trip through her work!) So I am out by the ocean just TAKING pictures of myself with the ocean in the background. NOW I know this may sound weird to you all..BUT anyone that knows me KNOWS that I do this ALL the time and I am quite good at it too!!! ;) FINALLY I just get a REALLY awesome shot that I am happy with but just snappping and snapping away, just in case I can get something better...and all of the sudden this older gentleman sees me and he is like Oh do you want me to take a picture for you?
Soooo I am like OH SURE!!! Cause I just didn't have the heart to tell him no! PLUS...people tend to think its ODD when I explain that I can take a better picture of myself than they can. (Self-photography as a hobby is just not expected- no clue why!) So I hand him my camera, show him how it works and he is ALL into it!
He is telling me how to stand, what direction to face, THE WHOLE pizazz! FINALLY he raises the camera to take the pic and FACES THE LENS TOWARDS HIS FACE, like to take a picture of himself...AND THEN HE DOES!!! I'm like...ummmmmm okaaaaay is this guy joking around with me?!?! BUT HE ISN"T!!! He wants to see the pic now?! Sooooooo I'm like OMW!!! He musta seen me like that and thought thats how you hold the camera!
So I'm like, um, ok you just need to face the camera this way and I show him and he is like OOOO okay! Then I stand the way he wants me to again AND he faces it the WRONG way again! I'm like OMW!!! So he gives me back my camera and I am like oh well I just won't tell him he messed up...BUT then he asks to see his pics soooo i look and these were HIS PICTURES....
I mEAN you can see nose hairs and EVERYTHING!!! BUT I just don't have the heart to tell him! Soooooooooooooo instead, I pull out MY AWESOME picture and show him...
He looks at it and is like SOOOOOOO proud!
He is like, OH WOW! I did a REALLY GOOD JOB!!! (HAHAHAHHAHA) I'm like, oh yeah YOU DID!!!
But in my head I was just thinkin...
Yes, I AM GOOD!!!

P.S. Yeah I know, its not really THE MOST AMAZING picture in the world...
but compared to HIS NOSTRLS..IT WAS!!!
