Talking to my personal trainer last week while she was... KILLING ME...haha...annnnd she was talking about losing weight and excercising! She was saying that If your NOT ready to do it, it is VERY easy to find an excuse for WHY you can't do it, she hears it ALL THE TIME from her clients...you don't have time, your a mom, you have to buy snack food for your kids, your cooking what your husband likes, its to expensive to eat healthy, your to tired to work out, you can't find a babysitter while you go to the gym...FINDING AN EXCUSE IS EASY... buuuuut once you make up your mind to change your lifestyle, THERE IS NOTHING, that can stop you!!!

Its that SAME way with living for God!!! You work with souls and you hear the excuses ALL the time!!! Well you see, my grandma's, uncles dog died and I gotta housesit, or my mom said blah, blah, blah, I gotta babysit my lil cousin that is Muslim and not allowed to come to church, well you see what the PROMBLEM really is, is that my baby daddy left the faucet on and flooded the house...OH YES you hear it all!!! FINDING AN EXCUSE IS EASY!!! Or the, well i'll come back buuuuut i'm NOT gonna give up...the moment you say, your NOT gonna give something up for God is THE MOMENT you can pretty much plan on NOT making it!!! Because when you come to God, you come to Him on HIS TERMS, NOT on YOUR TERMS!!! You gotta want God bad enough that it does NOT matter what you have to do, or what you have to GIVE UP, to get to him!

Sometimes you will look at a person, and they have EVERYTHING that they need to access to, to make it living for God. They've got a good church to go to, a way to church, a support system of people that are ready and willing to help them through, ready to pray with them...they have everything they need to make it...buuuuuuuuuuuuut they lack ONE THING...one of THE MOST important things annnnnd that is a MADE UP MIND!!! Until you completely DETERMINE in your heart, that YOU ARE AND YOU WILL live for God, there is NOTHING anyone can really do to help you!!!!

If your living in the "What IF I don't make it mode!" And I'm keepin this, just in case I don't live for God, then guess what, your NOT going to make it!!! Because the devil is right there, ready with JUST the right thing to lure you away! If YOU want an EXCUSE for WHY you can't live for God your going to be able to find one...annnnnnnnd IF your looking, the devil is MORE than willing to HELP YOU!!!

I am a soldier in the Army of my God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.

Faith, Prayer and the Word
are my weapons of Warfare.
I have been taught by the Holy Spirit,
trained by experience,
tried by adversity,
and tested by fire.
.
I am a volunteer in this Army
and I am enlisted for eternity.
I will either retire in this Army at the rapture,
or die in this Army;
but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out,
I am faithful, capable, and dependable
.
If my God needs me,
I am there
If He needs me in Sunday school to teach children,
work with the youth, help adults, or just sit and learn.
He can use me, because I am there!

If He needs me to help someone from the gutter,
deliver them from drugs,
encourage those in prisons,
tell them about Jesus,
I will be there!
.
I am a soldier,
I am not a baby,
I do not need to be pampered,
petted, primed up, pumped up,
picked up, or pepped up.

I am a soldier.
No one has to call me,
remind me, write me, visit me,
entice me, or lure me.

I am a soldier.
I am not a wimp.
I am in place, saluting my King,
obeying His orders, praising His name,
and building His kingdom!

I am a soldier.
No one has to send me flowers,
gifts, food, cards, candy,
or give me handouts.

I do not need to be cuddled, cradled,
cared for, or catered to.
I am committed!

I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around
I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside.
I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.

When Jesus called me into this army,
I had nothing.
If I end up with nothing,
I will come out even.

But I will win.
My God will supply my needs.
I am more than a conqueror.
I will always triumph.
I can do all things through Christ.

Devils cannot defeat me,
People cannot disillusion me.
Weather cannot weary me.
Sickness cannot stop me.
Battles cannot beat me.
Money cannot buy me.
Governments cannot silence me,
and Hell cannot handle me!

Even death cannot destroy me.

He will promote me to captain
and then bring me back to rule this world with Him.
