Okaaaaay you guys, soooooooo since i already lost the contest with my sister and our nephew Lucas said her name first, I have been working really hard with him to say Mary!!!!

So him and my sister in law came over yesterday and I’m like baby puleeeeeeeeze, i’ll take anything closely resembling my name! I’m like say, Mary! Say Mawey! Say Ary! Mar! Mar Bear! Mary Beary! Aunt! Auntie! Aunt Mary! Auntie Mar Bear! okaaaaaaay fiiiiiiine just SAY BESTIE! You’re my little bestie just say bestie Lucas!!!

This is going on with us for over an hour and he he just won’t say anything to do with my name!!! He’s being really sweet to me, giving me big O sloppy kisses and patting my face buuuuuuuuut HE WILL NOT SAY MARY- in any form!!!
Soooooooo finally i’m just like ok fiiiiiine,
SAY JESUS!!!!
And without any hesitation he says, JESUS!!!! and he lifts up his hands in worship!!!
He said it!!!!
He ACTUALLY SAID IT!!!
HE SAID JESUS!!!

My sister in law said he’s been lifting his hands in worship at church buuuuuuuut that was the FIRST TIME he has said Jesus!!! I’m telling you my heart was soooooooo happy!!!! I squeaked sooooooo loud he started crying cuz i scared him on my lap!!! I was like baby i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to scare you!!! Aunt Mary is just soooooo happy to hear you say JESUS for the first time!!!!

It’s like my pastor says, parents, the best day of your life isn’t the day you got married, it’s the day ANY OF YOUR CHILDREN GETS THE HOLY GHOST!!!!

Not that he got the Holy Ghost buuuuuuuuut, still, he said Jesus for the very first time!!! there is something really amazing about a child learning to say the name that is above every other name, THE NAME OF JESUS!!! i can’t wait till he can quote Acts 2:38!!!!
