This is for my husband, my wife, my baby...

Sooooooo this past Sunday at our church was Friends and Family Sunday on the first Sunday, we have one service and serve food afterwards and its been great!!!

We take turns cooking for the church and this past Sunday, my brother John and his wife Liz cooked. Now, John is a GOOD COOK!!! He has his own Take and Bake business, John's Italian Kitchen, so LPC KNEW we were going to be eating GOOOOOOD!!! But the HILARIOUS thing to me was this...

So i'm helping serve right? Well everyone goes through and eats, and by the time you finish serving the first time, there were people coming through for the second time, and then THIRDS for some...buuuuuuut the part that was SOOOOOO HILARIOUS was that everyone had an EXCUSE for WHY they were coming through...

This is NOT for me, this is for the kids! I'm getting this for MY WIFE, she's pregnant...I mean she just had the baby! This is for my MOM! This is for my son! This is for my mother-in-law! This is for my baby! This is for my husband! "I'm NOT eating all this, I'm SHARING with my husband! Then the hubs comes through, Oh you know, you better give me a little extra, I'm sharing with MY WIFE!!! Buuuuuuut NO ONE could just say, man this is GOOD FOOD I WANT MORE!!! AHAHAHA!!!

FINALLY Sam came through for the umpteenth time and was like, I'm getting this for my kids or something like that! I was like, MAN SAM, I need a husband and some kids so I have and excuse to KEEP EATING!!! Then he came through ONE MORE TIME, Annnnnnd I was like, OH WHATEVERRRR!!! Who's this for now??? Your future grandchild????AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

(I think he really was getting stuff for people)

NO MATTER THE EXCUSE...

This is for...

my husband, my wife, my baby, my mommy, my grandkids, my dogs, my great, great, great, great, great, great, grandpa that died a 100 years ago, my ex-husband's sister...we tryin to witness to her, my father in law that lives in New York city...airmailing it overnight to him...MY BABY DADDY...JOKE!

No matter WHAT your excuse was, the FACTS REMAIN, about 45 people went through EIGHT POUNDS OF PASTA, plus SALAD, BREAD, drinks ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNND DESSERTS!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

The Votaws!!!

He has preached all over the US, China, Taiwan, the Philipines, Vietnam and many more Asian countries. He preaches in underground churches in communism countries. He converted a man on death row in prison to Christ and 3 hours before that man died he baptized him in Jesus name. He prayed the first man in Vietnam to kill and americn soldier through to the Holy Ghost and Baptized him in Jesus name. He has converted trinitartin preachers all over to the Oneness doctrine...BUT ABOVE all else...I thank God that I TOO am ONE OF THOSE souls he reached out too...he gave 7 years of his life to New York City!!! I thank God that he answered the call!!! It wasn't until his 6th & final year as pastor there, that our family came into church...we were there for 9 months before we came to AZ and then right after that the Votaws left NYC for the mission fields of Asia...I THANK God that someone had a burden for NYC!!!

This is the woman that invited my Momma to a Pentecostal church!!! She told me that she was actually new in the church herself and that she would see my mom in the front yard of our house playing with us kids and she just wanted so badly for my mom to have what she had just recieved herself. It may have been just one person that she was witnessing to at that time, but that one person has had an affect on her own five children and now its her Grandchildren that are still recieving the blessing of Sis. Kathy's witness. 25 years ago, it wasn't just my mom...I may have only been two at the time, but it was ME she was winning too! I thank God she wasn't afraid to be a witness and that she didn't give up on my mom. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39) When you decide to live for God it doesn't just stop with you!
