Soooooo my brother is dating a girl from our church named Elizabeth Nickels...and as you all know from my posts, I have been their OFFICIAL chaperone. Well last night when we riding back my brother says to me, Liz is moving up in life, she WAS a Nickel, but now that we are dating, she is a quarter.. I'm like um ok! He turns to Liz and they give each other ADORING looks and he smiles at her and says, "she doesnt get it!"

I'm like, OKAAAAAAAY yeah, I GET IT!!! Her last name is NICKELS and so your saying she is a quarter now...a quarter is MORE than Nickel...I may not be good at math buuut...I know the value of MONEY...I get it...From a Nickel to a Quarter!!! I'm like I GET IT...I just don't think its FUNNNNY!!!

And in my mind I am TRYING to figure out how she is even a quarter NOW in the first place? Her and my brother aren't married yet, so doesn't that she mean is STILL a NICKEL??? Plus, EVEN IF, they do end up gettin married, our last name is GINTY???????? HOW does that in any way make her a QUARTER???? Does our last name really mean quarter in Irish or something???
