Deedee's baptism!!!

This past Wednesday, there was a very special person to me that got baptized...DEEDEE!!! I've literally known Deedee since she was born! I remember holding her when she was a new born and freaking out because her hair was so soft, her family was laughing at me!!!

THEN she started going to church with me as soon as she was potty trained...

She's always been a favorite of mine!!! :)))

Deedee got the Holy Ghost in November and has prayed back through several times since then!!! Weeeeeeeelllll this past Wednesday, she was baptized in Jesus name! She was baptized as an infant, but we did a Bible study together on baptism and she said she wanted to be re-baptized according to how the Bible says we should be baptized...IN JESUS NAME...Because only the name of Jesus has the power to wash away our sins, because JESUS died for us!

That awkward moment when you don't know your last name during baptism!!!LOL after some discussion and trying to figure it out, since she has a different last name then her mom, a different last name then her sister, Pastor finally said, WELL God KNOWS Deedee's LAST NAME!!! LOL

This was my favorite part, when Pastor laid hands on her to pray or her before he baptized her, Deedee's lil sister Christina laid hands on her too and started praying, it was the sweetest, cutest thing ever!!! They love each other so much and Deedee wanted to wait to be baptized til her little sister was there to see it!! And then you just have to know Christina's personality, she is so IN CHARGE a total little mamma!!! She's ADORABLE!!!

Wedding trip!!!

Going thru security in Phoenix, my cookie dough made it through!!! 

Love the fact that people were sincerly complimenting me on my hair! Favorite compliment was the Filipino guy that said my hair looked like a beautiful, colorful flower!!!! AHAHAHA!!!!

Soooooooo on the airplane ride over to Oakland I was sitting next to these two body builder dudes that totally thought they were all that and a bag of chips...THEY WERE NOT EVEN!!! I tried to be friendly to them And they were totally snooty to me...I was like AS IF!!! They're just talking to each other like, YEAH MAN, On Monday I tore up the gym in 9 minutes!!! Then all of the sudden there was turbulence on the plane and all of the sudden they're talking to me like we're all besties!!! You shoulda heard them! It went from, "I tore up the gym in 9 minutes to! What is this? What's going on? Whats happening?" SUCH BABIES!!! I was actually kinda enjoying the turbulence...change things up a little I had been getting bored!!! LOL

Once Hanna picked me up in Oakland, the partying began... We'll basically us trying to decide what to eat... Debating if we should dig in to the yummy Mexican food we saw Sis. Mary had cooked...we finally decided we better not... What if she was giving it to someone?!?! Turns out she said it woulda been fine!!! Of course!!! Lol

Funny moment of the night was the guy at the drive thru when Hanna asked him what time Walmart closed at he says, 12... You'll probably....... Long pause.......NOT make it!!! We were laughing so hard, cuz he had totally sounded like he was going to say we'd make it!!!

Then we get there 5 til 12 and the guy at the door says we can't go in. Hanna pility asks him if we can just run and get something? He asks what? She says jus a few food items! He says no! I mean, if it were just like tissue or something like that! We're like WOW!!! We chose not argue the fact that we technically still had  five minutes!

My wedding outfit hanging up in the States guest room!!! So GREATFUL to the States for always hosting me... My home away from home!!!

Hanna and I OF COURSE got Starbucks first thing in the morning before we got the ingredients for biscuits and gravy.

When we were leaving the State's in the morning Sis. Mary said, oh it's The Kifle's and their two associates! Abel says, no it's actually Hanna and ALL her associates!!!! Lol

Entertaining everyone with excerpts from my teenage diary!!! We laughing sooooooo hard!!!!

We made a pit stop at Starbucks before the wedding!!!! This rather strange man starts talking to Jen about how the Holy Ghost told him we were all going to a wedding!!! Jen's okaaaaaayyy... Turns out "the Holy Ghost" was Abel! Aparently the man had asked him before while they were in line what we were doing! So that's what was the joke the rest of the trip there... Anything Abel said we joked that the spirit was speaking!!! AHAHAHA!!! Abel said he liked my cookies, I was like, ooooh "The Holy Ghost" likes my cookies.... HEEEEEYYY!!!!

A reminder!!!

I was riding to Bible College with my friend Kim a couple of months ago and I went to reach out an turn on some music and I was greeted with this BIG empty space instead!!!

I just busted up LAUGHING!!! I was like OMW KIM!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED??? Where's YOUR RADIO???? She's like OH YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...my car gotten broken into and someone stole my radio...which being the WONDERFUL, GOOOD friend that I am, ONLY made me laugh EVEN HARDER!!! :D

She's like I think its payback for the life I used to live, God wants me to know what its like to have my car broken into and my car radio stolen...She's like I mean, I SURE do know HOW to take a radio OUT of a car, BUUUUUT don't ask me HOW to put one IN!!!  (LOL!) She said so yeah I think God's just letting me know how it feels, You know, you reep what you sow. I said yeah,  that might be part of it, buuuuut...MAYBE, JUST MAYBE God just wants to remind you.

She's like, what do you mean? I said, maybe God wants you to see that the world is still bad its still evil and its STILL full of SIN. I said THINK ABOUT IT...there are still desperate people, living in sin, addicted to drugs, cars being broken into, things are being taken, auto  theft taking place EVERYDAY!!! BUUUUUT...YOUR NOT the one stealing cars anymore...NOW its somebody else that is stealing!!!

The world will go on doing evil, BUT once God touches you, EVEN when you do fail, once His fingerprints have been imprinted on your heart, YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!! I said, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE... God just wants to remind you that...

your NOT what you once were.
