I named her Blossom because she’s orange and i loooooooooove the smell of Orange 🍊 Blossoms!!!

Meanwhile, Mr. RazzMaTazz has gone to car hospice to spend his final days in the care of a trained car doctor, that will keep him running and comfortable for as long as possible… AKA he’s with my brother John!!!

Better to GIVE!!!!

So several years ago…..I decided to do Christmas gifts with my class at church…

Sooooooooo before they opened their presents, I did a little lesson about it being, MORE BLESSED to give that to receive! First I had all the kids say ONE THING that they REALLY wanted for Christmas! Of course this was REALLy easy for them to come up with, then I had them all try to think of ONE REALLY NICE THING that they wanted to give to someone that year, and LO AND BEHOLD this was A LOT harder for them to come up with!!! LOL

.

Weeeeeeelllll anyway, you NEVER know what all the kids take from your lessons right??? So this past Sunday, I was talking to Sam and Janelle, my friends and parent's to one of my students, Mackenzie, and we got on the subject of Christmas presents and they were like, OH we have to tell you this story about Kensie, what she got from your lesson on Wenedsday night.

Bro. Sam said that she has REALLY been wanting to get a puppy, REALLY BAD and that's ALL she has been asking for, for Christmas. He said after thinking about it they were like, ok they already have one dog, Bronco, its just not going to work out this year. So they had told her you know Kenzie it's just not going work out this year, etc...

.

Come later that week, after Wednesday night, Sam said that Kensie came to him and was like, You know dad, let me tell you something about what we learned in class Wednesday night! We learned that it is MORE BLESSED to GIVE than to receive. I was like, AWWWWWWWWW!!! She got it!!! She got my lesson...I'm having a TOTAL PROUD TEACHER MOMENT!!! Sam just laughs...

Then he continues the story, He says that Kensie says, So I was thinking about OLD BRONCO out there in the back yard, ALL BY HIMSELF, and I was thinking, WE SHOULD GIVE HIM A PUPPY FOR CHRISTMAS so he has someone to play with!!!!

I was like, WOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!! They said they were laughing so hard about it!!! I was laughing when they told me!!! I have to say, that was SOME PRETTY SMART THINKING KENSIE!!! Actually, come to think about it, I do remember her saying after class that she thought she REALLY wanted to get something for her dog this year, cuz she NEVER had before!!! BAHAHAAAAA!!!

STILL A PRETTY PROUD TEACH MOMENT FOR ME!!!!

I was liiiiiiike if i'm off keto I'm not even touching meat today!!! LOL buuuuuuuuut I got it ALL OFF annnnnd am back to the weight I was last week sooooooooooo it's all down hill from here till Christmas!!!

I struggled in my mind about just taking one more day this morning, buuuuuuut I was good!!!!😅😇 I was liiiiiiike buuuuuuuuut I only had a teeny half of a half of a Turkey 🦃 sandwich 🥪 last night… I looooooove Turkey sandwiches!!!! Then God inspired me with this idea 💡 for a KETO TURKEY SANDWICH!!!

You guys, I’m going to share this recipe with you all!!!

2 slices of cheddar cheese

Mayo

Turkey

Ground pepper 

Lay out the cheese, spread Mayo on both sides, warmed Turkey on top one slice, then put the other slice of Turkey on top!!!! Bomb 💣 soooooooooooooo gooooooooood!!!!!

Keto update!!!!

Soooooo guess what you guys???? Remember how i told you all HERE that I was going to TRY keto diet for two weeks??? WEEEEEEEEEELLLLLL today marks exactly two weeks on keto annnnnnd GUESS WHAT???? I'm loooooooooovin it!!!!

 I decided I'm NOT going to stick to keto on Thanksgiving, i'm just NOT feeling THAT DEDICATED!!!! Plus I'm making these rolls and these potatoes on Thanksgiving-ive been dying to try these two recipes, there all the rage on Pinterest AND DELISH!!!

 ANYWAYZ, 

I'm down 10ish pounds!!! I say 10ish because it's a little bit more than 9 buuuuuuuut less than 10 still!!! hAHAHAAAA!!! Literally THE EASIEST diet everrrrr!!! like I can do this for a really long time!!!!

 I MEAN, if I can eat IN N OUT and still lose weight...

PINE NUT WARNING!!!

Soooooooo I told you all that I would tell you what I was doing with my basil plant in another post, WEEEEEEEEELLLL this is THAT POST!!!! Soooooooo because of the basil plant, I almost burnt🔥 down the kitchen cooking!!!

Here's the story, 

I just wanted to make pesto...it's sooooooooo easy to make...buuuuuut I read that IF you toast the pine nuts till their browned, the pesto is EVEN BETTER!!! Weeeeeelllllll...I really wanted to make my pesto THE BEST THING EVERRRRR...soooooooooo I put them in the oven to toast...

.

 I was toasting pine nuts in the oven to make make homemade pesto cuz I have a basil 🌿 plant, and I went back to talk to Theresa for like ONE MINUTE...it was for her to try my keto peppermint coffee-which you would've thought I had given her POISON the way she sipped it... and MJ yelled from the kitchen, 'whatever your cooking is burning!" so I ran to the kitchen cuz I’m lik,e oh maaaaaannn... pine nuts are soooooooo expensive...this is gonna be such a waste if they're too dark...buuuuuuuuut when I got there I could see flames 🔥 in the oven and I opened the oven and the flames started jumping out, at this point, everything broke out into complete chaos!!!!

.

 All the fire alarms in the house went off, the kids ran outside screaming, the dog starts howling and me...I'm just RUNNING AROUND SCREAMING WHAT DO WE DO??? Someone CALL THE PARAMEDICS!!! CALL THE PARAMEDICS!!! (Yes, i said paradmedics!!! BAHAHAAA!!!) 😱 buuuuuuut THANKFULLY, my sister was there!!! T said GET WATER!!!💦 (I was like, Oooooh yeah WATER!!!)

and we started throwing water on it and it went out after a bit! There was a huuuuuuuuge mess, and we were covered in soot, buuuuuuuuut NO DAMAGE and we were all FIIIIIIIIIIIINE!!!!

.

Sooooooo I learned two things on Saturday1. Pine nuts go from raw to BLACK in like a minute...my brother informed me of this...and 2.I don’t do good in emergency situations! I’m liiiiiike call THE PARAMDICS!!!!😂😂😂 You know in the adventures in Odyssey when Zoe and Olivia are doing the radio show and Jay starts to choke annnnnnnd Zoe instantly knows what to do buuuuuut Olivia is just running around like a chicken with it's head cut off??? Weeeeeeelllll my sister was zoe and I WAS OLIVIA!!! It was a good thing she was there!!! You know I was freaked out because there are NO PICTURES to record the event!!!!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeellllll I know it's pretty funny and we've cracked up about it A LOT since Saturday buuuuuuuuuuuut in ALL SERIOUSNESS, I am soooooooooo thankful for God's protection!!! That is the second fire we have delt with in the last 4 months and they are FREAKY!!!  FIrst one had NOTHING to do with me...did I tell you guys about the one at our hotel room this summer???) I'm pretty scared of candles at this point!!! Buuuuuuuuut thank you Jesus for looking out for annnnnnnnnd....

Why I TRIED gardening!!!

Sooooooooooo I recently bought some fresh basil 🌿 and mint plants! With the mint leaves i've been making some really bomb creamer for my coffee in the mornings annnnnnd with the basil...WEEEEELLLLL...that's a story for ANOTHER DAY!!!! Hee, hee!!! ;)

So my sister was like, do you remember when you were trying to grow all your plants on the back porch? I was like KINDA...that was a REALLY LOOOOOOONG time ago!!! She's like, what made you decide to do that??? I'm like, IDK, its sooooo long ago, maybe it was just one of my phases!!! Then I"m like OH WAIT, i remember...

It's cuz I was doing a study on the book of Proverbs!!!! My sister just looks at me and says questioningly, ANNNNNND??? I'm like, well MORE SPECIFICALLY PROVERBS 31!!! She's like, ANNNNNNNNNNNND???? I'm like, I was striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman, you know, "She planteth a vinyard..." Sooooooo I was trying to start a garden!!! ;)

My sister was just like WOWWWWWWWW!!! And then O says in his PREACHER voice, weeeeeeeellllllll, THIS is just getting WEIRD!!!! 

I know, I know, I knooooooooow...I'm cRaZy!!!! I just really want to be a PROVERBS 31 woman...My vineyards didn't grow to swell...soooooooo some Proverbs 31 woman just goeth to TRADER JOES for their vineyards!!!;) BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

Proud Auntie Moment!!!

Soooooooo this past Sunday, in Sunday School, we had a trivia question for the kids, we were dividing the kids up too two different age groups, 9 and up and 8 and under got an easier question. well O is 10 now soooooo he's in the older kid's group!!! So I told my sister, well is that fair for him to get a harder question...I mean...I adore the kid and I'm just thinking liiiiiike weeeeelll ya know he's special needs etc...I'm always looking out for the underdog right??? I mean mind you, the kid is SUPERRRR smart, like literally he really is....buuuuut STILL!!!

My sister just says: well he's 10 sooooo he's with the big kids!!!! Sooooo we give the question: What is the first book of the Bible to be written??? And we told the kids we'll give you a hint, it's NOT GENESIS!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeelllll GUESS WHO WAS THE ONLY KID THAT KNEW????

Just when I think 🤔 we’re done with the 90’s for the year, ANOTHER 90-day happens!!! It’s soooooo DUMB!!! I have SOOOOOO MANY FALL SWEATERS waiting for me to wear them!!!! I actually feel bad for them because they want me to wear them so badly… soooooo pray for my sweaters!!! Bahahahahaaa

Soooooooooo you guys, I'm officially working on the next story in my kid's book series....I mean, NO you won't be seeing the finished copy for a WHILE, buuuuuuuuuuut, I figured it's better to get started! I actually have a list with 15 ideas written out and outlined from the New Testament buuuuuuuut now I'm officially writing the next book!!! I figure book #2 will actually go a lot quicker because I'll know better about the process and how to proceed with things! (IF ONLY the business aspect of publishing a book was as EASY as the writing part-UGH!!!)

Weight Loss Goals!!!

Sooooooo I wanna lose 26 pounds by the end of the year!!! My weight loss coach...YES...I have a weight loss coach...BAHAHAHAHAAA...anywayz she wants me to lose 40...which I'm all for buuuuuuuuuut lets also be real...THE HOLIDAYS!!! I mean, I'm jus sayin!!!!

Although, it all depends on HOW motivated I am, liiiiiiike I ACTUALLY stuck to low carb on my birthday...buuuuuuuut idk if ill ACTUALLY do that for Thanksgiving annnnnnnnnd CHRISTMAS!!! I mean really HOW can we celebrate the birth of Jesus without carbs??? EVEN HE ATE BREAD!!!!

And my brother wants me to do keto with him and I just wanna do low carb-high protien lifestyle----buuuut i've been eating to much sugar soooooo I gotta cut that out again----I'm just NOT sure about the whole HIGH FAT thing, I'm liiiiiike what about HIGH protien with fat and veggies---I'm not like drinking oil or anything crazy...bahahahaaa...buuuuuuuut I said I'll TRY IT for two weeks and if I'm NOT down a TON of weight I'm eating an apple!!!! Buuuuuut just so  you know I'm NOT EATING PORK RINDS!!!! That's soooooooo DISGUSTING!!!! He's like they actually don't taste bad!!! I'm like I don't care HOW they taste...I can't eat pigs skin....I just can't!!! Annnnnd my brother is trying to convince me that the fat on like steak and stuff is SOOOOOOOOOO good!!! I'm like NO ITS SICK!!! I don't like the way it feels in my mouth and I'm NOT eating it!!! My fat of choice is BUTTER...thank you very much!!!

 Also, I had read these reviews about some keto premade foods, like these keto cups that are suposed to be chocolate candy...OMW those things are literally disgusting...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! and then this like this soup broth that the lady said was sooooooooo amazzzzzing...duuuuuuude it was also sooooo GROSS!!! Buuuuuuut not as nasty as the keto cups...I was literally gagging for those!!!! My brother was like, don't buy premade keto food, your a good cook, just cook  your own stuff!!! I was like TRUE!!! I mean, unless it's a twinkie, premade food is usually pretty gross anyways weather it's keto or not- frozen and packaged meals are all the same!!!!

....soooooo Soooooooo basically I'm just doing the diet that works for me, buuuuuut without any apples or fruit!!🙄 I started today...I'll let you guys know how it's going next Friday!!!!
