Holy Ghost Party 2019

Sooooooooo first of all, I wanna give a big shout out to Janelle for keeping the Holy Ghost party going every year despite the WCC interference the last few years!!! This was a tradition started years ago by Bishop...pretty sure he got it from the AIO...First Holy Ghost Part everrr was at Whit's End...hee, hee!!! Buuuuuuut no seriously, The LPC Holy Ghost party is one of my earliest memories when we moved to AZ from NYC...I remember ALL the big kids got all the candy from the piñata and all I got was ONE BRACH'S gummy animal...I'm pretty sure it was red too...LOL I think I was 3 at the time...those BIG O MEANIE 11-year-olds!!!

Soooooo as the tradition goes, you come dressed as a Bible character, I came this year as...

A UNICORN FROM NOAH'S ARK!!!

Now, before anyone starts saying, "Unicorns weren't on the ark OR Unicorns aren't real" READ YOUR BIBLE...they're mentioned SEVERAL TIMES and each time was AFTER THE FLOOD, therefore, they made it onto THE ARK!!! And then to the, WEEEEEELLLL...they were probably just rhinos or something like that! Okaaaaaaaaayyyy soooooo then they were FLUFFY UNICORNS...PERFECT...I was very Biblical then!!! ;)

Holy Ghost Part 2016!!!

As usual, our church had our annual Harvest Festival, THE HOLY GHOST PARTY!!! Annnnnnnd I figured I better go ahead and blog about it today since this weekend we're having our youth rally and Thanksgiving Feast on Sunday and I STILL gotta blog about NEW YORK!!!

Sooooooooo MJ decided to go as Miram and this here below is her precious baby Moses in the river basket, I particularly enjoy the lil sign hanging on his basket...VERY BIBLICAL!!! LOL

Captain America Himself...his dad thought this was HILARIOUS that his son was Captain America when he is half Liberian and half Belizian!!! LOL

I was gonna dress up, Odin was going as Lazaruz so I thought I could dress up and be MARY, Lazarus' AUNT Mary, buuuuuut turns out I rand out of time and just went as AUNT MARY!!! LOL

PARTY TIME!!!

I think everyone's favorite game was Bro. Jimmy's toilet plunger race!!! LOL

The other HUGE FAVORITE this year was Pastor's Hay Ride...screaming throught the streets...we had a GRAND O TIME!!!

Our traditional longest ever going game of THE BALLOON STOMP...every game changes...EXCEPT THIS ONE!!! LPC can NOT have a Holy Ghost party without THE BALLOON STOMP!!!

The really cool thing about this year was that I got to bring a HUGE group of Muslim kids, THESE PARTIES are THE ONLY TIME they are allowed to come to church...buuuuuuut YOU JUST NEVERRRRR KNOW...weeeeellll it was a crazy night, BUUUUUUUUUUT if ONE SOUL IS SAVED IT'S WORTH IT ALL!!!

My Costume!!! HAHA!

Sooo today, before church we took a buncha kids trunk or treating at a harvest festival down the street from our church. Well it was soooo FUNNY! Everyone kept telling me that they had liked the way I dressed and did my hair and stuff. Sooo then I hear these two ladies whispering about how it was sooo NEAT how some of these people had really gone ALL OUT with their costumes and they are whispering and then I see them look at me and the one lady is like, I mean LOOK AT HER!!! She is dressed so nice and her hair and the way she did it and the flower...like WOW! I WAS LIKE OMW!!! All these people think that this is MY COSTUME! BAHAHAHA! I'm like thinkin, OKAAAY... I'm just on my way to church...This is NOT a costume!!!

I'm a one God, Apostolic, tongue talkin, PENTECOSTAL, through and through!!!

Jesus Saved MY SOUL!!!
