This message MIGHT NOT be for you!!!

My pastor preached a message a month or so ago called "Wonderful, Beautiful, ME!!!" annnnnd basically the message was about not degrading ourselves and thinking we're ugly, ETC...Buuuuuuuut he started off by saying, you know, this message just might NOT be needed by everyone tonight...

He's like FOR EXAMPLE...

A lot of texts...

Soooooooo a few Wednesday nights ago, my pastor got up to preach, and he says to everyone to sit down, so we all sit down. Then he says THE MOST SHOCKING THING TO MY EARS...

I have a lot of texts I need to read...

I'm just sitting there like, WAIT, your gonna read your text messages before preaching???  I'm just COMPLETELY FLOORED!!!

Buuuuuut at the same time, i'm like, weeeeeellll...I've probably gotten a lot of text messages sent to my phone since church started...should I catch up on my phone texts before he starts preaching too??? 

.

Like legit, ONE HAND is reaching to my phone and the other part of me is like, NO don't get your phone out during church...buuuuuuuuuuut Pastor is gonna read his texts...I'm having this battle in my mind when my pastor says...

Apparently, when I asked everyone after church if they too had thought Pastor meant it was time to read text messages on the phone, I WAS THE ONLY ONE that was confused...WHATEVERRR!!! LOLOLOL

Holy Ghost Party 2019

Sooooooooo first of all, I wanna give a big shout out to Janelle for keeping the Holy Ghost party going every year despite the WCC interference the last few years!!! This was a tradition started years ago by Bishop...pretty sure he got it from the AIO...First Holy Ghost Part everrr was at Whit's End...hee, hee!!! Buuuuuuut no seriously, The LPC Holy Ghost party is one of my earliest memories when we moved to AZ from NYC...I remember ALL the big kids got all the candy from the piñata and all I got was ONE BRACH'S gummy animal...I'm pretty sure it was red too...LOL I think I was 3 at the time...those BIG O MEANIE 11-year-olds!!!

Soooooo as the tradition goes, you come dressed as a Bible character, I came this year as...

A UNICORN FROM NOAH'S ARK!!!

Now, before anyone starts saying, "Unicorns weren't on the ark OR Unicorns aren't real" READ YOUR BIBLE...they're mentioned SEVERAL TIMES and each time was AFTER THE FLOOD, therefore, they made it onto THE ARK!!! And then to the, WEEEEEELLLL...they were probably just rhinos or something like that! Okaaaaaaaaayyyy soooooo then they were FLUFFY UNICORNS...PERFECT...I was very Biblical then!!! ;)

LPC Ladies Cookie Exchange 2018

Soooooooooo catching you all up to our annual ladies cookie exchange!!! In the holiday spirit and to add a little extra SPAZZ to our Cookie exchange, I add in a CHRISTMAS FASHION CONTEST!!!

There are several categories, for the adults it's THE MERRIEST AND THE CLASSIEST, for the kid's it's LITTLE MISS MERRY, you get a sash and a fun gift, usually a little something Kate Spadeish...Hee, hee!!! ANNNNNND...This year I made a new rule, you can't vote for me!!!

Denae said that wasn't fair, buuuuuuuuuut, I'm not gonna give myself a gift I bought, that's just WIERD annnnnnnnd the contest is for fun and encouraging everyone else to get dressed up!!! I'm a very festive person and pretty much any day of the week in December, i'd probably be festive annnnnnd READ TO WINNNN, buuuuuuuuuut seeing everyone else be festive is a prize enough for me!!!

Heeeeeeeeey at least they're were NO GROWN men that came this year. LAST YEAR, Idk how but some of our guests didn't seem to get the memo that, THE LADIES COOKIE EXCHANGE was ONLY FOR LADIES!!! We were all very awkward about it, the HILARIOUS PART was, he sooooooooo wasn't!!! He just sat there with his wife eating and stuff...My main complaint was that he was MARRIED...I mean...IF YOUR GONNA BRING A MAN...can we let the awkwardness be the hope for SOMEONE??? AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!

LPC Thanksgiving Feast 2018!!!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllll I started the day off at about 5:20 am, so by the time it was time to start waking up kids, I figured COFFEE #2 was in order!!!

Annnnnnnnnnd then THE WAKING UP BEGAN!!! Thankfully most of the children were awake and getting ready when I knocked at 8 and told them I'd be back in another 30 minutes. Only One child had to be completely woken up and ONLY one person had to take a shower...MAAAAAAAAAAANNN I remember the good O day when NO ONE was late from taking a shower...NOW here we are 12 or 13 years later and everyone is all AMERICANIZED...Thankful YES, buuuuuuuuut NOT for the waiting!!! LOL It's like a mixed feeling...JUST HURRY UP AND GET OUT HERE!!!! AHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

Annnnnnnnd this lil cutie-patootie that will be joining us in a few years...as soon as she's potty trained!!! I learned to make that rule...Ummmmm I love babies buuuuuuuut, I can't watch and change them all in one service and still actually get something and be a part of the service!! 

 My lil Deedee!!! I've known her since she was born!!! Always my baby!!! 

It's REVIVAL TIME at Landmark!!!

God is doing great things over here in Scottsdale!!!

 Last weekend we hit up some houses in preparation for revival with the Frank's this week!!!

 We've been have GREAT services all this week, Thursday night Sister Faye got the Holy Ghost, last night we had such a strong spirit worship during song services and again during alter call, the spirit  of God was so strong. My little nephew O was praying and seeking God whole-heartedly for the Holy Ghost both times!!!

 It's going to happen soon I know it!!! 

 Got to church really early last night, our newest converts were in the kitchen making up posters to hit the street corner by our church to invite the cars driving by, they asked me if I wanted to join, I was like SUUUUUURE...I'm always down!!! So Judah and I went out with them, it was AWESOME!!! 

His name was MARTIN, 

buuuuuuuut then he got JESUS annnnnnnd now he's SMARTIN....HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYY!!!!👐

  I looooooooooove this!!!!

We're gonna do it again on Sunday and then we're gonna hit up outside the pot store and let them testify of God's deliverance from drugs!!! (S'Martin says he needs a megaphone for this tho!!!LOL) I'm soooooooooo excited, can't wait to see what God is going to do next at LANDMARK PENTECOSTAL CHURCH!!!!

Me too...MINUS!!!

Sooooooooo I'm UBERRRR excited in general about our church going to the Heritage Conference next week. The plan IS, leaving at 3 AM on Tuesday morning,  getting there for the Meet and Greet BBQ singspiration on Tuesday Eve, then Wednesday during the day, which ALSO happens to be MY 35th BIRTHDAY, (Not that it's a big deal or anything;)  we are going WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING!!! I am BEYOND excited about this if you couldn't tell, everyone at my church knows that I have NOT SHUT UP about this for the last month...NO JOKE...I've literally talked about it more than the whole entire conference, they're like, is there a conference this year??? WE JUST KEEP HEARING ABOUT WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING!!! Ahahahahahahaaaaa!!!

You guys don't understand, I couldn't do this BEFORE my weight loss, AND NOW I CAN!!! This is WHY I lost weight, SOOOOOOOOOOO I COULD GO WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING!!! (And horseback riding, and hiking and to run races and fit on ALL the crazy rides, and to not need a seat belt extenstion on the airplane to wear cute belts and cute dresses, oh annnnnnnnd also to be healthy and NOT to die on early death!!!;) THEN on Thursday in between church services to go to WHIT'S END...(that's ANOTHER reason I've lost weight, to go down Wooton's slide and not worry about getting stuck...ahahahaaaa!!!) Okaaaaaaaay I haven't gotten that officially approved yet, buuuuuuut I'm pretty sure I can PUSH it on through...hee, hee!!!

Sooooooooooooo my good friend, Courtney Thaler, is joining our church group for this trip, which I'm absolutely ESTATIC about!!! Anywayz, she was texting me about some details of the hotel and such and then she's like, So do you just roll your clothes when you pack and then iron when you get there???I was like, 

YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!

MINUS THE IRONING PART!!!!
