SANTA!!!

Sooooooo it was literally THE CUTEST thing everrrr...
A few years ago...I just gotta remember it all over again!!! We went to a little kids Christmas play and as we were walking in, there was a group of people there for another show and OF COURSE little O just has to talk to everyone on our way into the theatre! Hi! I'm Odin, what's your name?
.
So he sees this husky, older gentleman, wearing khaki slacks and a plaid shirt and who just happened to have a white beard and he greets him as usual, "Hi, I'm Odin!" and the man says back to him, I'm Santa Clause!
.
Odin just stops dead in his tracks, mouth agape, his WHOLE FACE JUST LIGHTS UP in sheer shock and joy! Then, without saying anything, he just walks over to the man and throws his arms around him in a HUGE ODIN HUG!!!
The look on his face was liiiiiiiike NO WAY, I'M ACTUALLY MEETING SANTA!!! Everyone was laughing soooooooo hard and it completely made the man's night!!! It was literally THE CUUUUUTEST, FUNNIEST THING EVERRRRRR!!! Gotta love this kid, there's just no one quite like him!!!

Holy Ghost Party 2019

Sooooooooo first of all, I wanna give a big shout out to Janelle for keeping the Holy Ghost party going every year despite the WCC interference the last few years!!! This was a tradition started years ago by Bishop...pretty sure he got it from the AIO...First Holy Ghost Part everrr was at Whit's End...hee, hee!!! Buuuuuuut no seriously, The LPC Holy Ghost party is one of my earliest memories when we moved to AZ from NYC...I remember ALL the big kids got all the candy from the piñata and all I got was ONE BRACH'S gummy animal...I'm pretty sure it was red too...LOL I think I was 3 at the time...those BIG O MEANIE 11-year-olds!!!
.
Soooooo as the tradition goes, you come dressed as a Bible character, I came this year as...
A UNICORN FROM NOAH'S ARK!!!
Now, before anyone starts saying, "Unicorns weren't on the ark OR Unicorns aren't real" READ YOUR BIBLE...they're mentioned SEVERAL TIMES and each time was AFTER THE FLOOD, therefore, they made it onto THE ARK!!! And then to the, WEEEEEELLLL...they were probably just rhinos or something like that! Okaaaaaaaaayyyy soooooo then they were FLUFFY UNICORNS...PERFECT...I was very Biblical then!!! ;)
 .
BALOON STOMP!!!

My, very MARYISH game that I did with the kids...
GET THE FLUFF!!!
It's harder than you would think!!!
.
Soooooooooooo CUUUUUUTE!!!

Prayer Alarm!!!

Have you all ever set your alarm early just so you can get up and pray? I'm kind of a morning person, early to bed and early to rise...sooooo by 7 am I've all ready been up for a few hours!!! bUUUUUUT back in the day, before I was an early riser, I would have to set an alarm to get up early for prayer!!!
.
Weeeeeeeeelllllll...I would like you all to meet my little prayer alarm!!!
YES, a little human prayer alarm!!!
One day when he was over I was in the other room doing something and he was playing, when he comes to me, PRAY Mary??? Now, I had already prayed that day so I was thinking I was good for the moment, so I was like, Oh sure Ray, if you wanna pray, go pray! He looks at me, eyebrows raised and the most serious look on his face and says, "MARY PRAY, NOW!!!" I was like, YES SIR!!!! AHAHAHAAHAHAAAA!!! And we went had us a prayer meeting!!! Because, HEY, you can never pray TOO MUCH and WHEN is ever requested on the job to pray??? I mean, seriously, how cool is that???
.
Buuuuuut it never fails when he comes over, he ALWAYS gets in a prayer session.  There have been days where I really did FORGET to pray that day, but because of my little prayer alarm, WE GOT IN OUR PRAYER time!!! It's like there's just a little ticker in him that goes off and lets him know, IT'S TIME!!! If we could all strive and pray for God to put that same ticker in us, that a spiritual alarm goes off inside of us everyday, reminding us to pray!!! It's something I ask God to put inside of me!!!
.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...in case your spiritual ticker inside doesn't go off...annnnnnnd you don't have a human prayer alarm...go ahead and set that PHYSICAL ONE...IT'S TIME TO PRAY!!!
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

My mom's dream!!!

Soooooo last week when we had that Ladies Tea at our church, after Elder Sis. Cleveland had Sis. Bishop Abbott teach on submission, she asked my mom to speak about her loving her children or something like that.
.
So my mom is you know just talking about her kids and HOW WONDERFUL we are or whatever she is saying and then she is like you know being a mom was just the best thing that EVER happened to me! (Awww) And she was like you know EACH TIME I would find out I was pregnant, it wasn't a drudgery....i always felt like it was SUCH A BLESSING!!! She said EVERY TIME,  I was just sooooo happy and excited about it!
.
Then she is just like, you know people thought I was having too many kids, buuuut I never felt that way, IN FACT, she says, my dream was to have TEN KIDS!!! She kinda sighed and was like, buuuut God only allowed for me to have five and thats ok! BUUUUUT my dream in life was to have ten kids!!!
.
Soooo as my mom was talking about her dream of ten kids a thought came to my mind and OF COURSE i had to speak it!!! ;) So I raised my hand and my mom called on me and I was like, WEEEEEEEELLLLLL MOM...I don't think its to late...
you can STILL have your TEN KIDS!!!
(Awkward silence by ALL! LOL!)
.
I just laughed as I explained myself! MOM...You always tell us that whenever one of your kids get married, that their spouse is now ONE OF YOUR KIDS....soooooooo just think...WHEN ALL FIVE of your kids get married, you will have YOUR TEN KIDS!!!!!!!
.
My mom like totally loved that!!! She like got this HUGE SMILE on her face and was like, OH THATS TRUE Mary! Good thought!!! (Occasionally they do come to me!;) She was like thats right, ONE DAY, I will have my ten children!!! :) Awwwwwwwwww!!!!
.
Soooo...SO far my mom has 7 out of her ten kids, AND as of September 22 she will have 8 out of her ten kids.
That leaves me and Theresa...
(the boys think they're REALLLY SOMETHING cuz they all are gettin married before us girls...I'm just like WHATEVERRRRR...God's saving THE BEST FOR LAST!!!) ANNNND I just wanted to see HOW MANY OF YOU ALL OUT THERE...would like to start praying for my MOM'S DREAM TO COME TRUE!!!
.
My mom has been one of the most faithful, sacrificing woman of God EVERRRR and weeeeeelllll...heeeeey....I just want to make ONE LAST DREAM OF HERS COME TRUE!!!
.
Pray that my mom gets her TEN KIDS!!! :D

Today I didn't do it!

This story is AWESOME!!! I didn't write it and I have NO idea who did, BUT I think this story is HILARIOUS!!! Woman will LOVE it and a true eye opener for men! TOTAL Ladies of Legacy material I DO BELIEVE!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! I laughed for like FIVE minutes straight after reading this and am STILL smiling!!!! ENJOY!!! ;)
.
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife’s car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the house, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.

As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, ‘What happened here today?’ She again smiled and answered,

"You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world did I do today?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn’t do it."
