Soooooooo Sunday before church, we start service at 2pm right now so lunch is in order and I just really felt my lunch should be an egg roll from Chef J’s! Surprising things I’m NOT in to...

I saw 👀 this post saved in my drafts from May and thought I should finish and post it!!! Here are some things that I think 🤔 people would be surprised that the Maryness does enjoy!!!

I. Pets-I knooooow this seems hard to believe because I do love cuddling with fluffy things, buuuuuuut they’re to much responsibility! They tie you down and hinder you from travel 🧳!!! And they smell and drool and poop 💩!!! I’m not saying my spouse can’t have a pet, I’m jus sayin if I’m left to take care of it, it could be 💀 not good!!! 😝 we do have a dog… Buuuuuuut I’m not responsible for it!!!! Lol she is really beautiful and sweet though……buuuuuuut if I did have a pet it would be a cat!!! I had a cat named Freckles growing up and we were soooooo close!!! She ate pasta and would run to me when I SCREAMED!!! They don’t smell or drool and I love hearing their purrrr and they’re tails swishing- it’s like they flirt with their tails!!!  Buuuuuuut I’m not planning on getting a cat 🐈 anytime soon… my sister despises them annnnnd I don’t want to be tied down!!!

2. zoos- soooooooo boring UNLESS you can interact with the animals!!! I do looooooove the deer 🦌 farm in Willams AZ!

3. Aquariums- I’ve neverrrrrr had fun looking at fish 🐠 🐟 I don’t even like eating them!!!

4. Most museums- I can’t say all buuuuuut if it’s not insanely gorgeous or interactive, I’ll probably be bored!!! Alcatraz island was super cool, the glass museum in Washington and the miniature museum in Tucson loved and the kids museum 

5. music- I like music 🎶 buuuuuut I don’t like crave it or go nutz if I don’t have it continuously playing! Maybe it’s because I have my imagination 💭 if I’m by myself!!!

6. choir practice - this is the main reason I neverrrrr sing in the choir anywhere!!!! It’s just soooooooooo boring!!!

7. play practice- same thing!!! Lol

8. Wedding rehearsals - same as the above!!! In the Philippines we didn’t have it and it turned out fine!!

9. linking arms in weddings - its soooooo awkward and weird linking arms with a stranger and usually a MARRIED MAN!!! Why do we have to link arms?! Actually why can’t we just walk down alone?!? 

10. shoes- being flat footed, I’m super picky about shoes!!! I only have one pair of church ⛪️ shoes!!! I do have lots of Nikes and Ugg boots though!!! 

11. purses- I only have three purses and a backpack 🎒!!! One church purse, 2  casual purses and a backpack!!! I hate switching things around from purse to purse!!!

12. Counselor- being a camp counselor! I’ve only done it twice in my life! Once when I was 18 and once when I was 30ish annnnnnnd I’m neverrrrr doing it again!!! I would much rather do Sunday School and the church van 🚐 then do that!!!

Weeeeeeeeellll are guys surprised???

Prayer 🙏 answering God!!!

I testified this week at church I’m really thankful this week God answered some prayers about some things that I have been praying about!!! I paused and said weeeeeeelll… NOT the husband prayer, buuuuuuut a few other things that have been stressing me out!!! ( yes, I actually said that in my testimony…my church knows and loves me and excepts anything to come out of my mouth at any moment annnnnd yes, Mary does ACTUALLY get stressed 😩 about things!) 

.

There were some things I was really stressing out about with my book, let’s just say, a writer I AM, and a business woman I am NOT!!! (Wouldn’t that be perfect if God had a BUSINESS MAN HUSBAND FOR ME??? Also a Mr. Fix- It would be good too with the likes of me!!!! Bahahahahaaa!)  Buuuuuuuuut anyways, I was praying about it in the morning and then I got a phone call by noon 🕛 which brought me great relief!!! 😅 The book is still happening, just gonna take longer than I planned!!!!

Annnnnnnnnd I really thought my car was done for and I have a really good amount of money 💰 for a new car 🚙 buuuuuuuuuuut nothing was happening…. Nobody found anything and I was literally ready to just go buy ANYTHING buuuuuuuut didn’t actually do that!!! I was going to just get my car junked but once again waited and my brother came over and was like, it’s just your starter if you want me to just fix it I can?!? I was liiiiiike YEEEEEEEESSS!!! So I got my car miracle!!! Literally resurrected from the dead 💀!!! Now I just gotta get insurance back ion it and it registered!!!

Odin is REALLY DISAPPOINTED ☹️ that I’m NOT getting a new car 🚗… he had my new car in his mind as a Tesla … Bahahahahaaa … buuuuuuuuuut I’m just THANKFUL, so, so, SOOOOOOOOO THAAANKFUL TO HAVE WHEELS!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!

Update for those that have been asking! While he still can’t go out in public, attend family get togethers or go back to his church ⛪️ yet, he stays busy behind the scenes cooking and helping out where he can! He will still be out of work for at least a year but he is definitely moving forward as much as he can and on the road to recovery ❤️‍🩹!!!! 🙏🙌🏽

Mystery of the peppers 🫑

Soooooooo JBros Cooking gave my sister and i stuffed peppers on Sunday to share and let’s just say they were soooooooo good there was ALMOST World War three over them!!!😅😇 (you’re NOT Ginty til you’ve had a real fight over food… that awkward moment when you’re waiting for me to say juuuuuust kidding!!! Buuuuuuut I neverrrrrr do!;)

Well I told my sister you they’re really soooooooo easy to make and basically pretty healthy!!!! I was gonna make them REALLY HEALTHY and mix cauliflower rice in with the meat instead of regular rice 🍚 buuuuuuuuut my sister said to just do regular rice cuz it’s not even a lot 🙄 sooooooo I did! 🤷‍♀️

Weeeeeeeeeeelllll it was in the oven for an hour and I didn’t smell ANYTHING!!!! So I opened the oven and the cheese wasn’t even melted!!!! I was like that’s weird… they only have a few more minutes to go buuuuuuuuut they don’t even look 👀 close to being done!!!

I was liiiiiike hmmm 🤔 maybe I should put the temperature a little higher!!!! I went to change it aaaaaaaand whada ya know… it wasn’t even on!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😇 I was liiiiiike wow Mary, WOOOOOOWWW!!!🤣😝🤪

That was NOT the end of the Maryness either… let’s just say I put to much water 💦 at the bottom of the pan and basically made things TOO JUICY!!!! Story of my life!!!🙄😜😇 I also got a few new cooking battle scars on my legs!!! 🥵😅🤷‍♀️

PS my sister said the peppers 🫑 tasted really good!!! I was liiiiiike, THEY DID??? She’s like, yes! The kitchen was destroyed in the process, buuuuuuut yes they taste 👅 very good!!!

Soooooo Saturday, before the Arise conference started, we met at The Grove with some of the Roswell young people and it was really fun 🤩 and delicious!!!!

Buuuuuuuut the whole time we were in line I’m just like gushing to everyone about how much I looooooove latte art! And I’m like, already had coffee today so if they don’t do latte art I’m not going get a coffee ☕️, buuuuuuuut if they say they do I’m getting another coffee!!!

Soooooooo when it’s my turn to order, I ask and the lady VERY PROUDLY says they do, sooooooo I’m just stoked!!!! I order my food and coffee and we sit down to wait!!!! I’m like ecstatic… like you guys just wait till you see it! I love latte art! Latte art is soooooo cool!!!!

Weeeeeeelllll then they bring my coffee and it was just like this foam blob!!! We were laughing so hard!!! I showed it to my sister when she sat down and was like, like my latte art 🖼???? She’s like what’d you do take a drink already??? I was liiiiiike nooooopw… that was the way it was when they brought it to me!!!😂

Soooooooo last night at the Bible study, well I was subbing for Denae since she’s out of town, well in the lesson it talks about the mark of the beast being 666 and one of the girls was like, wait soooooo that’s actually in the Bible!?!?!? I thought was just something people said, that like that’s the devils number! I’m like no it’s REAL and people in the world know it and it freaks them out!!!

I was liiiiiike in fact ( ok I end up telling a lot of stories when I teach! Lol) one day I was picking up a delivery 🚚 for eatz from Coldsone and the order number was 666 and the girl that handed it to me was liiiiiike oh that’s really SCARY!!! Soooooooo I just shrugged 🤷‍♀️ and was like, weeeeeelll NOT if you have JESUS!!! The girl looked shocked I mentioned Him, I just smiled, took the package and left!!!

She’s like, you should keep it and wear it to the Arise conference, it would be slenderizing!!! I’m like buuuuut with what???? She’s like idk a black dress… that’d be REALLY slenderizing!!!

I wondered that for about five seconds, then I backed out of the carport and we were on our way to our church school 🏫!!!

About 3 minutes laterrrr ⏰… I found out that It ACTUALLY WAS THE GAS ⛽️ NOT MY ENGINE!!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t you just hate when that happens???? 🙄

Believe it or NOT, that was ACTUALLY my first time to run out of gas!!! Thankfully I have three brothers to come to the rescue!!! One to pick me up and push the  car into safety, one to have gas tank filled with gas ⛽️ annnnnnnd one to give out directions to everyone even from the hospital 🏥!!!! Bahahahahaaa
