Let me tell you all about my lovely little friend KarenZa!!!

I have known this girl for years and years since she was a young teenager I believe when we became friends and I’m pretty sure I was already an adultISH person at this point but she’s in her 20’s now so it’s been AT LEAST 10 years that we’ve been friends and I learned something NEW about her this year…

KARENZA IS QUIET!!!

I literally did NOT EVEN KNOW THAT!!! So I’m hanging out after church ⛪️ with her and her sister and some other girls and someone says that out of her and her sister Gabby, Karenza is THE QUIET ONE!!! I was liiiiiiiike, WAIT, YOUR QUIET???? HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS????

What’s funny is that, I oddly don’t notice that much when people are quiet people!!!! Like I know they’re not like me, but I don’t really realize how quiet they actually are!!! Someone said it’s because I just talk to them anyways and get them to talk back to me…whereas they’re talking to me more than they do to most people so I don’t see them as quiet as other people see them…Which I guess is true… I’m inquisitive and I don’t just like to talk buuuuut I enjoy drawing words out of other people as well…

buuuuuuuut where I don’t really notice if some is quiet, IF SOMEONE TALKS A LOT… I sooooooooo notice!!! I’m just liiiiike, yeah, they talk A LOT!!!! Not that it’s annoying, I just definitely notice… the only time I really can’t take it is if they just completely dominate and overpower every conversation…. IM JUST LIIIIIIIKE NOOOOOOOO!!! 😂  I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!!!!

Advice from…

Sooooooo back I. October of last year, I ordered the cuuuuuutest ever shirt from Inherit clothing! When I got the package 📦 in the mail I ran to my room, ripped it open and tried it on!!! It was sooooo cuuuuute I SCREAMED of course… that’s my test for keeping something, if it makes me at least squeal a little when I look at myself then it’s cute enough to keep, and this was soooooo cuuuute I screamed!!! All the little ruffles on the on the shoulder on collar…. Yeeeesss!!!

I was liiiiiike seriously??? And that my friends is life living with THE MODESTY POLICE 👮‍♀️!!! Buuuuuut how can you argue with a very honest 12-year-old??? Out of the moths of babes!!! I was going to return it buuuuuuut then I came up with the idea after seeing my sister do this, YES THERESA I GOT A FASHION IDEA FROM YOU, of wearing it under my jumper I got from SHEIN, of just wearing it under my jumper and really all the cuuuuuutest parts are still showing!!!!

Sooooo Heyyyy, if you have something ladies that’s too tight and you don’t wanna size up two sizes like the modesty police suggested, or in my case I had already bought it in the largest size, just wear it under a cuuuuuuute jumper!!!!

That awkward moment Christmas list!!!

Sooooooo before Christmas I was as on Pinterest and randomly reading gift 🎁 idea 💡 lists and I found a list that I wanted pretty much EVERYTHING ON IT!!! And I was THINKING liiiiiiiike omw this list is probably for young adults, liiiiiike just graduated from high school/college age range cuz ya know, I’m younger than most 40-year-olds…

Awkwardly helpful!!!

Soooooooooo as you all know, I loooove Trader Joe’s!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeellllll one day I was at Trader Joe's stocking up on my favorite sweet and spicy jarred jalapeños, when I noticed a very tall broad-shouldered man that was trying to be a woman. I'm thinking in my head liiiiiiike really bro, it's NOT happening!!!

Buuuuuut whateverrrr, ain't none of my business, the aisle was soooooo crowded and I just needed to get my stuff and be on my way to prayer at church. As I'm getting my stuff, I heard something behind me fall to the ground. I looked and it was THE MAN TRYING to be a lady, and a thing of oatmeal had fallen out of HIS basket. I waited to see if they would realize it had fallen, buuuuuut after about 20 seconds of this person NOT realizing, I figured I would just BE HELPFUL!!!

I'm liiiiiiiiiiike, excuse me sir...No one turned around...I tried again, Excuse me sir! No one turned, i'm like right behind them...I'm like, maybe this man isn't turning cuz he identifies as a woman???? Does he expect me to say Ma'am???? This is soooooo weird....maybe i should just forget about the oatmeal on the floor...he doesn't really need it...SHOULD I SAY MAAAM?? NOOOOOO!!! I will NOT GIVE INTO THIS WORLD’s CONFUSION!!! I will NOT be politically correct, buuuuuut I WILL be a CHRISTIAN and help this poor CONFUSED MAN with HIS FOOD HE DROPPED!!!

I mean someone mistook me for being pregnant once, (At Trader joe's) you didn't see me getting all hot like that!!! (I mean, he was like 4, and I was wearing a maternity looking top, buuuuuuut....bahahahahaaaa… he looked at me with absolute joy and was like mommy look there’s a BABY IN HER TUMM… that kids mom flung her hand over his mouth so fast I actually felt bad for him!! I mean he was sooooooo HAPPY for me…. I wasliiiiiike I WISH THERE WAS a baby in my tummy… I mean like I was married with a baby in my tummy!!! Lol anyways i said all that to say I’ve been mistaken for something I’m not too and I didn’t FREAK OUT…

My OOPS DRESS….

Ahahahahahaaaa!!!! Soooooooooo back in September of 2023 I was on a clothing store online called Pink Desert 🏜️… and while I was on it, I found my absolute dream childhood dress buuuuuuut in MY SIZE… I loooooved it, buuuuuuut I was thinking there was absolutely NO WAY it would look good on me… sooooo I waited a month buuuuuuuuut I kept thinking about it and the next thing I know, it CAME IN THE MAIL!!! 😜

When I opened the package 📦 and showed my sister the dress, she was liiiiiike, I can’t believe you bought that and I was thinking in my head it’s sooooo cuuuuuute but I just know it’s gonna be hideous on me!!! Buuuuuuuut I tried it on and OMW! It looked super good at least in my HUMBLE opinion!!! 😜

Sooooooo I went out and showed my sister, to get her opinion on how it looked, EVEN THOUGH I was still going to wear it if she didn’t like it cuz I liked the way it looked… so she looks at it, she hesitates and then she says, SURPRISINGLY, it actually looks good on you… you wouldn’t catch me dead wearing that, buuuuuuut it does look good on you!!!! And my sister does NOT just say stuff to be nice… sooooo I KNEW she really did like it!!! I was liiiiiike I think it might actually be slenderizing, I mean who would’ve everrrr thought hot pink foo-foo could be slenderizing buuuuuuuuut it IS!!!

Happy New Year Monday!!!

Bahahahahaaa!!! My brother posted this on our family texts messages!!!! Lololol 😂 Ironically The 1st day of the year is on a Monday this year and I actually did tell my sister that I wanted to restart tomorrow BECAUSE I really wanted to make pasta fagoli, I’ve been craving it and I think it’s been like at least a year since I’ve had it if not more… I don’t know how to explain it except it’s basically Italian Chili, it’s actually not really not super unhealthy, just that I try to stick to low carbish and gluten free and this isn’t but it’s not like overly unhealthy and NO OLIVE GARDEN OR ANY OTHER CHAIN ITALIAN RESTAURANT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT RIGHT!!!! They are like the of Taco Bell to a Mexican!!!

Pasta sauce over your popcorn 🍿!!!

True story last night peoples… I made pasta sauce for Christmas and I know I shouldn’t toot my own horn buuuuuuuuut it was soooooooo gooooooood!!!!! I looooooove my sauce… there is NO ITALIAN RESTAURANT that can beat me… well that’s me being humble… Bahahahahaaa!!! Anyways I was like how should i season my popcorn and bam 💥!!!!

I really hope my pastor sees this because he thinks zebra 🦓 popcorn is gross!!! I was like how do you NOT like zebra popcorn??? This was. All during Bible trivia at the school after devotions, sometimes I like to stay JUST TO HELP THE GIRLS BEAT THE GUYS!!! Buuuuuuut the boys  actually won, this ONE TIME,  buuuuuuut ONLY BECAUSE PASTOR JOINED THEIR TEAM!!! Also because I can’t keep my mouth shut when I know the answer even when it’s for the boys team… I just get soooooo excited cuz I feel smart cuz the Bible is the only thing I really have the right answer for… soooooo anywaZ back to the popcorn…I was liiiiiiike, what’s REALLY GOOD is Carmel and cheese popcorn mixed together!!! and pastor was like that’s DISGUSTING!!!! Sooooooo I can ONLY IMAGINE what he’d say if he saw MY ITALIAN POPCORN!!! (He’s not a foodie!!!! Lol)

When you can’t see the sun…

I went hiking 🥾 this morning and I was really hoping for some rain because hiking in the rain and listening to my stories as I hik in the rain is one of my absolute favorite things everrrrr!!!! Buuuuuuut despite the clouds ☁️ there was only a few little sprinkles!!!

.

Still the weather was beautiful and it was a very enjoyable hike. When I got to the top of the mountain, there is this big rock 🪨 that overlooks the valley and I always rest on it and just chill and enjoy the view before hiking back down! 

.

I laid back on my rock to look up at sky and the clouds but I could not keep my eyes open to look! It was the weirdest thing buuuuuuut even though the sun was completely covered by the clouds, the sun was directly behind the clouds right above me and just the radiance of the sun was still to strong for my eyes.

AND THAT GOT ME THINKING:

Even in my hardest, gloomiest, darkest times, the power of God has still radiated so strongly in my life!!! Nothing can ever cover or over shadow the power of God. The love of God is so much stronger than the darkness of this world!!!

Priscilla comes to visit!!! For

Soooooo I’ve been meaning to blog about this foreverrrrr and I just kept forgetting buuuuuuut my friend Priscilla came and visited me this summer!!! We had literally met a 1 month earlier, the last night of AMA , after church just chilling with everyone at night and we were laughing so hard about stuff an the next thing I knew she was coming for a visit!!!

You guys have noooooo idea I just was soooooo sick!!!! I warned her… just to let you know I am soooooo sick 😷 buuuuuut she still came and I felt bad cuz I’m usually like, go, go, GO!!!! Buuuuut she was totally chill about me wanting to nothing buuuuuut sit there and talk!!!! And we literally just on the couch ALL DAY  and talked and talked and she told me her testimony and I told her about every guy that has everrrrr broken my heart which IS actually is a very short list and I was liiiiiiike, wait so we’ve only known each other for a month??? How’ve we only known each other for a month???? 

OF course I had enough energy to get coffee!!! We got these orange 🍊 cold cream coffees and they were sooooo bomb 💣 

And of course I did NOT lose my appetite like a typical GINTY and we went to Fry Bread house for dinne…

She was pretty impressed with them!!!

Sunday morning she got to experience my cooking skills, she saw first hand that I can make an immaculate kitchen look like a tornado 🌪️ swept through it in less than five minutes… and ALSO that I absolutely can NOT multitask… not only can I NOT talk and drive, I can NOT talk and cook… the first batch of breakfast sandwiches got burnt buuuuuut we stopped talking for the rest!!! Lol she even got to experience the fire alarm going off for me!!!! Bahahahahaaa

Even my sister liked her!!! She said good job on FINALLY making friends with someone that’s NOT annoying!!!🤣😂

After church ⛪️ a group of us went to a Thai place called Malee’s!!! It was sooooooo goood!!!!! Bomb coconut 🥥 shrimp!!!

And then it was time to say goodbye 👋 
Buuuuuuuuuut NOT FOR LOOOOONG… she’s staying with me for Landmark Conference next week…
And single Apostolic MEN, guess what?????

Sooooooo our annual ladies cookie 🍪 exchange is always a biiiiiiig blast 💥 every December!!! It is sooooooo much fun 🤩 and we always have a such a gooooooood time!!!

I don’t know how many years back now, I started adding in an outfit contest to encourage everyone to DRESS UP!!!!

This year I added in a PINK category since pink is ALL the rage right now…the ladies walked down in their categories and then everyone turns in their ballots for each category…

Sister Bishop even did a little model wave 👋 when she walked down to show her outfit- I think that may have been my favorite part of the whole night… 😂🤣

LCA Christmas Recital 2023!!!

I loooooove our church ⛪️ school, Landmark Christian Academy’s Christmas recital we do every year…

It’s like the official beginning of all the Christmas festivities 

The kids playing the bells to Jungle Bells and last year Lucy Karlson officially named them the Landmark Ding- Dongs… you gotta meet Lucy, she has the best and funnest personality everrrrr!!!!

Literally THE WHOLE REASON Odin decided to take piano 🎹 this year, for these two minutes to SHINE!!!! 😂 (takes after his aunt;)

And the night ended playing four square… I looooove this game because I enjoy playing sports buuuuut neverrrr play because I’m soooooo horrible at them and it’s a guarantee that the team I’m on will most likely lose because of me, buuuuut with four square, I can have fun, LOSE and it only affects me and no one has to pray through over me losing the game… I just laugh and play again… UNLESS I I have a miracle and win and then I neverrr shut up about it!! 😝 I think that racquet ball and pickle ball are the same way if anyone wants to teach me how to play????
