Soooooooooooooo my aunt in NYC kept saying that she thinks Lucas looks like me! And of course I LOOOOOOOOVED her comment, buuuuuuuuuuut I HONESTLY DID NOT SEE IT!!!

Then she said it again and I was telling my sister, I mean I REALLY WANT him to look like me, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I don't think he does!!!

Then she was like, I didnt think so either, buuuuuuuuut then I was remembering your baby pictures, and he DOES LOOK LIKE YOU when you were a baby go look!!!

Sooooo I went and looked at this picture I have of me and my mommy poo from when I was born....

Sooooooooooooooooo you guys, I wanted to ask you all to pray for me about something!!! I havn't really shared this with anyone at this point, in fact, if my pastor's wife is reading my blog right now, this is THE FIRST even she has heard of this!!!

This issue is with MY EYES!!! I really DO NOT want to have to get glasses, because 1. I'm NOT a nerd! ;) 2. I don't think I'd be able to keep them on my face!!! Buuuuuuuuuuuut the honest truth is that I am having trouble seeing well!!! IN FACT...

Sometimes i can't see anything...

Truly, I CRACK MYSELF UP!!! Sooooo Denae had asked me to start taking prayer requests and leading in prayer with our ladies Bible study, I opened the first day on the job with THAT LINE!!! Hee, hee!!! One person fell for it...probabley would have gone better IF I had NOT started laughing halfway through!!!

 That's WHY I'm sooooooooooo bad at pranks...I cannot NOT laugh!!! Buuuuuuuut on the bright side, it makes everyone else laugh too...annnnnnd that's all that really matters...also WHY my creativity is best through the written word!!!

When God keeps you humble!!

Sooooooo since the weigh loss surgery, there are these monthly support groups that you can go too, its supposed to me like you know, talking about weight loss, buuuuuuuuuut, a lot of times it turns into drama and sob stories...(Kinda like testimony service can...BAHAHAHA!!!) If you could hear some of the drama these people talk about as we go around the room, I'm just sitting there like, 

You all need MORE THAN WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY...

YA'ALL NEED JESUS!!!

Sooooo the MOST COMMON THEME, especially among the woman is this,  I've lost all this weight and I still feel fat! Annnnnnd I'm sitting there like, okaaaaaaaaay the reason WHY we all still feel like we're STILL FAT, is because, WE ARE!!! Buuuuuuut we're NOT AS FAT!!! LOLOL (Although my preferred word is ALWAYS FLUFFY!!!) Liiiiiiike for realz!!! I just soooo wanna shout it out buuuut I'm pretty sure I would get stoned for that!!! 

.

Then it's someone else's turn, I still don't feel like I'm Pretty!!! Then someone else joins, I know, I feel soo ugly!!! Annnnnd I'm just like sitting there like, sooooo ummmmm...like, AM I THE ONLY person in here that prays as they lose weight, God don't let me get conceited, KEEP ME HUMBLE as I continue to lose weight!!!'?!?!?!

 Buuuuuuuuuuuuut let me tell you all something, IF YOU SINCERELY PRAY for God to keep you humble, that is a prayer that he will have NO PROBLEM answering, TRUST ME!!! ;))))

.

So let me share with you a few incidents that God has used to answer that prayer...

#1 That person that walks up to you and is like, OH, you've lost weight! ME: Oh thank you! Them: your welcome, you look good...ME:About to say thank you again...buuuuut interrupted by them, "BUUUUUUUT KEEP LOSING!!!"

#2 The guy that walks up to you and says, HEY! You've lost some weight huh! ME: YES! Them: Yeah, your STARTING to look good! ME: Refraining from saying, WHY THANK YOU, your JUST AS UGLY AS ALWAYS!!! BAHAHAHA!!!

#3 The girl that's just hardly tipping the scale at 100 pounds!Girl: "Oh hey girl! Like, did you lose some weight!? ME: Yeah girrrrrrrl!!! Girl: OMW! I KNEW IT!!! Liiiiiiiike I can totally see it!!! Me: AWWWW THANKS GIRL!!! Girl: YEAH, like, seriously, I think your face is thinner, I can TOTALLY SEE IT IN YOUR FACE!!! Me: Why thank you! I've lost 85 pounds since you've last seen me, (You'de me DEAD if you lost that much weight) buuuuuut you can totally see it in my face, THANKS GIRL!!!

Baby sitting my nephew Joseph one evening, I've literally just reached my lowest weight I've been, MY WHOLE TEEN and ADULT LIFE, he says, Hey Aunt Mary, just to let you know, don't get offended buuuuuuut your looking A LITTLE fat tonight! Shocked i'm like, JOSEPH!!! WHY would you say that!?!?!?! He looks at me completely bewildered, He's like, AUNT MARY, first of all, I told you not to get offended and second of all, I said only A LITTLE FAT!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I honestly think he may have meant it as a compliment, like, your ONLY A LITTLE FAT NOW!!!

BUUUUUUUUUUT I think this last one is my all time favorite, liiiiiiike it WINS THE PRIZE of God keeping me humble!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! Sooooooo back in June when I had shingles, I had to go to the doctor to get a prescription for shingles to get rid of them. So since I don't actually have a primary care doc I get a recommendation from my surgeon's office. I go in, the doc is looking at my shingles and we're just talking and I tell her I got a recommendation from my surgeon Dr. Reyonoso, she's like, OH so are you one of his bariatric patients? I'm like yes I am! She's like, Oh that's SO GOOD!!! And where are you at right now in this process? I'm like well I'm 7 months past my surgery date! She's like, OH, you've ALREADY HAD THE SURGERY???

YEEEEEESSSSSSSSS TRUE STORY!!! She ACTUALLY SAID THAT TO ME!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm just sitting there like, lady, don't quit your day job and think about becoming a life coach or anything!!! AHAHAHA!!! It's good thing I was blessed with TWO THINGS: Good self-esteem and a Good sense of humor!!!

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaay GOD, I think we're good for AT LEAST another 10 pounds before you need to worry about me needing to be humbled again...AT LEAST 10 MORE...Really God, I'm good for now, REALLY... jus sayin!!! ;))))

My mom's dream!!!

Soooooo last week when we had that Ladies Tea at our church, after Elder Sis. Cleveland had Sis. Bishop Abbott teach on submission, she asked my mom to speak about her loving her children or something like that. 

.

So my mom is you know just talking about her kids and HOW WONDERFUL we are or whatever she is saying and then she is like you know being a mom was just the best thing that EVER happened to me! (Awww) And she was like you know EACH TIME I would find out I was pregnant, it wasn't a drudgery....i always felt like it was SUCH A BLESSING!!! She said EVERY TIME,  I was just sooooo happy and excited about it!

.

Then she is just like, you know people thought I was having too many kids, buuuut I never felt that way, IN FACT, she says, my dream was to have TEN KIDS!!! She kinda sighed and was like, buuuut God only allowed for me to have five and thats ok! BUUUUUT my dream in life was to have ten kids!!!

.

Soooo as my mom was talking about her dream of ten kids a thought came to my mind and OF COURSE i had to speak it!!! ;) So I raised my hand and my mom called on me and I was like, WEEEEEEEELLLLLL MOM...I don't think its to late...

you can STILL have your TEN KIDS!!!

(Awkward silence by ALL! LOL!)

I just laughed as I explained myself! MOM...You always tell us that whenever one of your kids get married, that their spouse is now ONE OF YOUR KIDS....soooooooo just think...WHEN ALL FIVE of your kids get married, you will have YOUR TEN KIDS!!!!!!!

My mom like totally loved that!!! She like got this HUGE SMILE on her face and was like, OH THATS TRUE Mary! Good thought!!! (Occasionally they do come to me!;) She was like thats right, ONE DAY, I will have my ten children!!! :) Awwwwwwwwww!!!!

.

Soooo...SO far my mom has 7 out of her ten kids, AND as of September 22 she will have 8 out of her ten kids. 

That leaves me and Theresa...

(the boys think they're REALLLY SOMETHING cuz they all are gettin married before us girls...I'm just like WHATEVERRRRR...God's saving THE BEST FOR LAST!!!) ANNNND I just wanted to see HOW MANY OF YOU ALL OUT THERE...would like to start praying for my MOM'S DREAM TO COME TRUE!!!

My mom has been one of the most faithful, sacrificing woman of God EVERRRR and weeeeeelllll...heeeeey....I just want to make ONE LAST DREAM OF HERS COME TRUE!!!

Where did you come from?!

Meet ♥Georgie♥!

He came dashing into my life last Friday

and Immediatley made himself at home....
IN MY ♥HEART♥

 We were having a bunch of people from church over for my brother Abraham's birthday. Georgie just immediatley starts hanging out with everyone like they were all OLD buds. So I bring Denae into my room to show her all my latest in my room, (Which btw looks AWESOME and adorable!) and soooo she was like oooing and Ahing over my stuff and Georgie is just like sitting there like making comments and just talkin like he has lived here for YEARS and not just dropped off  like a few hours ago!

All of the sudden Denae just looks at him laughing and is like, "Georgie, where EXACTLEY did you even come from?!" He just kinda shrugs his shoulders like, I have no idea myself but I am here and I belong! I don't even know his last name. He is a foster child and his case manager asked my sister to do respite care for him while his foster dad went out of town. My sister was tellin me about it and was like saying that she didn't think she would be able to do it cause she had to work during the days, so I was like WELL heeeey I don't have a job...

I wish you all could have met him! He is SOOOOO FUNNY!!! He is this chubby, little Mexican boy with a crooked smile and a charming personality. He has NEVER met a stranger, he is LOUD, hyper and LOVES to eat! His two favorite books are Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and  Peanut Butter and Jelly Rhyme book! Ooooo and HE thinks whoopie coushains are like the greatest thing ever and he LOVES Spagetti. He made my room STINK at night (and it was NOT the whoopie coushian LOL) and he snored and talked while he slept!!! (I am tellin you, this kid was EVEN loud in his sleep!)

What I REALLY want is to ask you ALL to pray for this little boy!!! He is in foster care right now, and is in the process of being adopted by a VERY ungodly man! He will be raised his whole life in a perverted lifestlye and I want to pray that GOD WILL STOP THIS from happening! I am asking you all to help me pray that Georgie will be somehow be placed in a GOOD home! I know it seems impossible, but GOD IS ABLE!

Before coming in to our home Georgie had NEVER heard of God. He did NOT know who Jesus was.

But several hours before he had to go back home he looked at me and said, "I LOVE Jesus!"

He didn't want to go back home. He was sobbing and tears were streaming down his face as he kept hugging me good bye!

Never say, Oh God I have a BIG problem, but say,

OH problem, I have a BIG GOD!!!

WHERE did ♥Georgie♥ come from?!

He was only here for a few days, but I think he came from God...

God knew he could use some prayers in his life!
