cRaZy Proposal & My DREAM Proposal!!!

LOL! Okaaaaaaay whats she supposed to do with 99 iPhones??? I saw this and was just like, WHAAAAAAAAAT IN  THE WORLD??? I mean, its extremely generous buuuuut also extremely POINT LESS!!! In my estimation, 99 iPhones woulda cost this dude AT LEAST $20-30,00!!! That's a LOT OF MONEY!!! Ummmm... HOW ABOUT a down payment on a HOUSE???? That's what would impress ME!!! :))))

ACTUALLY that's MY DREAM PROPOSAL!!! YUP, that's right, we've already done MY DREAM DATE, NOW it's time for my DREAM PROPOSAL!!!  (My dream proposal is ACTUALLY just, A PROPOSAL...ahahaha)  For like my fiancé to buy a house, bring me to see it, then he gets down on one knee, takes my hand and says something along the lines of...

"I bought this house, BUUUUT Mary My darling Mar Bear, (Mar Bear is so endearingly-cozy to me) ONLY YOU could make this house a HOME!!!

Then he pulls out a ring KEY to the house and says, Mary, WILL YOU MARRY ME AND MAKE THIS HOUSE A HOME!?!?!?!

God's Dream for WHO you marry!!! ;)

Have you ever thought about it:  What has God called ME too? And furthermore, as a woman of God, how does that affect WHO we choose to marry?  

.

I was then listening to some preaching one time and the preacher was talking about we are basically all born in love with ourselves and that ultimately that's who we care about the most...we are just by nature SELFISH!!! He was talking about how even when a girl falls 'IN LOVE' all she is thinking about is how that dream boat she is about to walk down the aisle to, IS going to make HER so happy!!! Its STILL about US!!!

.

That got me to thinking, how often, EVEN when striving to do things for God, how often are we still in SOME WAY thinking about OURSELVES?! Am I letting go completely or am I still holding onto my own will??? My own dreams? As a woman, your husband's call, becomes YOUR CALL. We're JUST the helper of the husband. This got me to thinking about how we need to change our perspective on how we are thinking about our future spouse. Its NOT about ME  and My dreams...MY CALL...it's all about GOD and, his goals, his desires, HIS DREAMS!!!

.

This causes me to rethink the way I pray about my future spouse. Instead of praying for WHO I want, I need to pray, "God, don't bring me to the one that is going to fulfill all MY DREAMS, but the one that I can help to fulfill all of YOUR DREAMS!!!

And if your a man, "God who is she that is willing to HELP ME fulfill your dreams?" Awwwwww soooo sweet!!! ;))))

I've been asked before if I feel called to a certain people or a certain type of ministry. I used to think yes, but over the years, God has allowed me to feel burdens and to reach out to people from just about every ethnicity, every age range and from all different back grounds. Rich, poor, black, white, Hispanic, Africans, Filipinos, single parents, ex-convicts, infants, teen mom's, Elderly, children, adults, foster kids, I've cried over them all. I've come to the conclusion, that ultimately, there is only ONE thing that God has specifically called me too and that one thing is SOULS!!!

.

 God you know my passions, my strengths and my weaknesses, who can I help the best to bring souls to you? I've started praying for God to help me NOT to hold on to MY OWN WILL and help me simply seek to fulfill HIS DREAMS.

I think God's dreams can simply be summed in this verse..."For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost"(Luke 19:10)

 

God has no specifics,

 just that IF IT'S LOST,

 it NEEDS to be FOUND!!!

What IF WALDO???

I was thinking about this the other day...

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd THEN IT HIT ME...

WHAT IF WALDO IS MY FUTURE HUSBAND???

Now before you all start thinking that I'm crazier than I already am, LET ME CLARIFY something with you all, HE REALLY COULD BE WALDO!!! Think about it!!!

1. Is Waldo Apostolic??? Idk...HE COULD BE!! Look at HOW modest he dresses!!! Pants and long sleeves...this BROTHA has holiness down...I LIKE THAT!!! Purrrrrr Waldo!!!

2. Is Waldo Chocolate??? NO, he's NOT!!! Buuuuuuut did you all know that I ACTUALLY DON'T CARE about a guys skin color at all??? My WHOLE point has ALWAYS been that it ACTUALLY DOESN'T MATTER!!! That's what my TRUE PASSION on the matter ACTUALLY IS!!! And my goal IS and WILL ALWAYS BE to educate and change the ignorant mindset of skin color and interracial marriage...EXCEPT, there is ACTUALLY NO SUCH THING AS INTERACIAL MARRIAGE, buuuuuuuut I'll save that for ANOTHER day!!! That being said, when it comes to my future husband and how I feel about his skin color, I will quote what a anonymous friend said to me today, "I don't care if they're WHITER THAN SNOW or if they're BLACKER THAN COAL!" I was like, Oh yeah, HEEEEEEEEYYYY!!! To me its more important that he has the attributes I want, on fire for God, burden for the lost, has a job, has a car, has good self-esteem, motivated, take charge, spiritual leader, good with finances, kind-hearted, patient with Mary Moments, organizes my Maryness, wants to have at least 7 kids, willing to adopt, tithe paying, pastor obeying, righteous, Apostolic Warrior,  man of prayer

3. Is Waldo anything like me??? NO!!! Obviously, Waldo IS NOT like ME!!! There is NO WAY he could hide that well if he was!!! This is GOOD!!! Cuz I think that a guy LIKE ME, WITH ME...would NOT BE GOOD!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!

IF you decide to MARRY ME!!! :)))

I was thinking about it the other day and I realized something...IF YOU should be the AMAZING, single, on fire for God, burden for the lost, has a job, has a car, tithe paying, pastor obeying, righteous, Apostolic Warrior, man of prayer,  That decides to marry me, There is something about me, that I should warn you about...

HIGH MAINTENANCE!!!

Now  you may be thinking, WHATEVERRRR...that's NOT true!! Yes, I am a VERY laid back and easy to please person...BUUUUUUUUUUUT allow me a moment to give you the ACTUAL definition for MAINTENANCE...

I would like to give proper attention to the word SOMEONE, in this definition...I may not be and uptight and HARD to please person, I don't expect expensive things, or fancy stuff or to be pampered, help with household chores...

BUUUUUUUUUUT being my husband WILL be very expensive person to Marry. Whoever marries me, should probably be GOOD...

.

 with cars, good with directions, good at fixing things, understanding of the fact that sometimes I don't think before I speak and sometimes, MAY say AWKWARD things, i'm pretty sensitive to sharp words...so gentle but firm is a HUGE plus...know that I lose my keys almost EVERY DAY...and usually find them IN THE IGNITION of my car, I lose my ID about every 6 months,

 

He should know that he may come home to THE ODDEST things in the house broken, LIIIIIIKE bathtubs, kitchen faucets, beds, appliances, the vacuume, cell phones, TOILET BOWLS...YES, I've actually broken a toilet, melted bowls, burned holes through furniture with the curling iron,

he better always expect THE UNEXPECTED, he can't be easily emmbarresed, in case i'm walking around with fresh stains on my shirt...HEEEEEY don't judge...at least won't have to ask me what ate that day...ahahaha... or when I spill be drink at a nice dinner, or if I happen to drop my grape drink during communion OR when his wife falls off the platform, Speaking of FALLING, I hope he's ready to catch me when I fall or AT LEAST ready to help me back up,

In other words, I'm high maintenance because of ONE THING....

When I get married...

You know the scripture in the Bible from 1 Samuel, when Hannah is thanking God for her child; "For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:" (1 Samuel 1:27) Annnnnnnd A lot of times you will see signs that parent's will hang in their child's room with this scripture on it...

My sister has one hanging up in MJ's room! And it makes sense to have, to remind yourself of the face that you have recieved this gift from God. I mean, in desperation for the desire of her heart, Hannah had wept, pleaded and sought God for this child and he was the answer to her long awaited prayers.

.

Weeeeeeelllll...I decided that, WHEN I FINALLY GET MARRIED, I'm going to have a picture of my husband, my groom, on our wedding day, enlarged to like a poster size photo and I'm going to have enscribed on it,

FOR THIS HUSBAND I HAVE PRAYED!!!

Because, we each have our own "Hannah Request" to God and at the present moment, mine is NOT for a child...haha!!! Annnnnnnnd I'm going to look at that picture of my husband and remember that God heard my petition, my prayers, and gave to me what I asked for! Annnnnd when my husband is irritating me, or I don't feel like submitting or ANYTHING like that, I'm going to remind myself that I PRAYED FOR THIS and i'm going to tell myself to shut up and stop complaining and THANK GOD FOR MY BLESSING!!! Yup, thats what I'm going to do...

 I was sittin there in our room the first night of our cruise, supposed to be getting ready for bed and I was like these are soooo CUTE i'm gonna have to start getting them...THEN I had a BRILLIANT MARY THOUGHT!!! ;) I was like OMW! When I get married I bet my husband will be like, SOOOOO IMPRESSED with all my matchin lil sleep masks!!! My sister was like okaaaaaaaaay...

My mom's dream!!!

Soooooo last week when we had that Ladies Tea at our church, after Elder Sis. Cleveland had Sis. Bishop Abbott teach on submission, she asked my mom to speak about her loving her children or something like that. 

.

So my mom is you know just talking about her kids and HOW WONDERFUL we are or whatever she is saying and then she is like you know being a mom was just the best thing that EVER happened to me! (Awww) And she was like you know EACH TIME I would find out I was pregnant, it wasn't a drudgery....i always felt like it was SUCH A BLESSING!!! She said EVERY TIME,  I was just sooooo happy and excited about it!

.

Then she is just like, you know people thought I was having too many kids, buuuut I never felt that way, IN FACT, she says, my dream was to have TEN KIDS!!! She kinda sighed and was like, buuuut God only allowed for me to have five and thats ok! BUUUUUT my dream in life was to have ten kids!!!

.

Soooo as my mom was talking about her dream of ten kids a thought came to my mind and OF COURSE i had to speak it!!! ;) So I raised my hand and my mom called on me and I was like, WEEEEEEEELLLLLL MOM...I don't think its to late...

you can STILL have your TEN KIDS!!!

(Awkward silence by ALL! LOL!)

I just laughed as I explained myself! MOM...You always tell us that whenever one of your kids get married, that their spouse is now ONE OF YOUR KIDS....soooooooo just think...WHEN ALL FIVE of your kids get married, you will have YOUR TEN KIDS!!!!!!!

My mom like totally loved that!!! She like got this HUGE SMILE on her face and was like, OH THATS TRUE Mary! Good thought!!! (Occasionally they do come to me!;) She was like thats right, ONE DAY, I will have my ten children!!! :) Awwwwwwwwww!!!!

Soooo...SO far my mom has 7 out of her ten kids, AND as of September 22 she will have 8 out of her ten kids. 

That leaves me and Theresa...

(the boys think they're REALLLY SOMETHING cuz they all are gettin married before us girls...I'm just like WHATEVERRRRR...God's saving THE BEST FOR LAST!!!) ANNNND I just wanted to see HOW MANY OF YOU ALL OUT THERE...would like to start praying for my MOM'S DREAM TO COME TRUE!!!

My mom has been one of the most faithful, sacrificing woman of God EVERRRR and weeeeeelllll...heeeeey....I just want to make ONE LAST DREAM OF HERS COME TRUE!!!

SUBMISSION...Oooo...

So last Saturday we were having a ladies tea at our church and Elder Sis. Cleveland was speaking about faithfulness to God and then while she was speaking she asked her daughter, Sis. Bishop Abbott to just say a few words about submission...because I mean come on Sis. Abbott is pretty much like an expert on this subject. I mean, if she was in college to be a professor she could soooo get her master's degree on this topic!!! LOL

.

Soooo Sis. Abbott is talkin about it and she is like I mean, ALL of us woman of at one time or another struggled with submission to our husband. THEN she even challenged us ladies, can ANY of you ladies sitting here today honestly say that there has NEVER been a time that they didn't submit to their husband...and EVERY WOMAN SITTIN there was SILENT...they were ALL guilty...ANNNND as I was sititng there thinkin about it I was like okaaaaaaaay ACTUALLY, YOU KNOW WHAT???

.

ME!!! I am THE WOMAN that has NEVER NOT SUBMITTED to my husband!!! and my hand just went shooting up!!! Everyone just busts up laughing and i'm like, Heeeey, now...I can HONESTLY say that there has NEVERRRRR been a time that I havn't submitted to my husband!!! My sis was like, okaaaaaaaaaaay you also haven't even met him yet...i'm like heeeey...we don't need to be gettin all negative... that wasn't the question!!! HAHA!!! Soooo everyone was laughing and Sis. Bishop Abbott was, "well i'm believing in FAITH that Mary is going to be a VERY OBEDIENT WIFE!!!" (I was like, OMW!!! Say whaaaaaaaat?!?!? FO REALZ?? I felt soooo HONORED that Sis. Bishop Abbott, THE instructor, the professor, the expert on submission,  is pretty much sayin that i'm gonna get an A on the topic...I was for two-seconds-before-i-started-jokin again... sooooo TOUCHED that she would think that about me...AWWW!!!)

My hubby... He'll be like, "make me a sandwhich woman!" and I'll be like YES LORD! (You know cuz Sarah was so submissive she called Abraham Lord?!) Cuz i was just about to wash some more dishes BUUUUT...let me get  you that sandwhich first! Do you want mayo and mustard with that? The bread toasted? Cheese? Lettuce? Tomatoes? Onions?  Should I slice the sandwhich? vertically? Diagnonally? Two halfs or four?  A glass of ice tea? Sugar? Splenda? A pickle? Chips? A back massage while you eat it? BahAHAHAHAahaha!!!

Soooo yeah single ladies...

this is something we can ADD to our resumes...we have NEVER NOT SUBMITTED TO OUR HUSBANDS...awww it feels sooooo GOOD to be able to say that...
