By the time I get married...

So this past Sunday at the Berkley church, they had Bro. Willowbee(Okay I have NO IDEA how to spell it) preach due to the fact that the newlyweds, Bro. and Sis. Kifle were starting their honeymoon. So Bro. Willowbee preached this really good message that I NEEDED to hear...LOL...buuuut...

I was like totally laughing in my head at one point because he was talking about how we're all waiting for something in life. What he's waiting for and what we all are waiting for may all be different from each other but the fact is the same that we are ALL waiting for something. And he was just talking to us about how we wonder WHY God is making us wait and he said, BUT IN THE WAITING, God is working on us and helping us to become more, etc...

Annnnnnnnnd I'm sitting there and I'm thinking in my head like, okaaaaaaaaaaay I think we ALL KNOW WHAT I'M WAITING FOR...husband... in case you actually didn't know...BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Then later on i'm thinking about it and I'm like, Okaaaaaaaaay God, I understand about the whole, YOU MAKING ME A BETTER PERSON WHILE I'M WAITING FOR A HUSBAND THING, I get it, I REALLY DO, buuuuuuuuut liiiiiiiike,

HOW MUCH AWESOMER CAN I POSSIBLEY GET AND STILL BE HUMAN???

Jus sayin!!!

I mean really, this must be some kind of amazing man your preparing me for because I feel like IF I were to get any more amazing than what I already am, I'd be sprouting wings!!!

BAHAHAHAHA!! Fo realz you guys, I'm gonna be walking down the aisle toward my groom and he's going to break out singing...♪♫♫

IF you decide to MARRY ME!!! :)))

I was thinking about it the other day and I realized something...IF YOU should be the AMAZING, single, on fire for God, burden for the lost, has a job, has a car, tithe paying, pastor obeying, righteous, Apostolic Warrior, man of prayer, That decides to marry me, There is something about me, that I should warn you about...

I AM EXTREMELY...

HIGH MAINTENANCE!!!

Now you may be thinking, WHATEVERRRR...that's NOT true!! Yes, I am a VERY laid back and easy to please person...BUUUUUUUUUUUT allow me a moment to give you the ACTUAL definition for MAINTENANCE...

synonyms: preservation, conservation, keeping, carrying on, continuation, continuance

I would like to give proper attention to the word SOMEONE, in this definition...I may not be and uptight and HARD to please person, I don't expect expensive things, or fancy stuff or to be pampered, help with household chores...

BUUUUUUUUUUT being my husband WILL be very expensive person to Marry. Whoever marries me, should probably be GOOD...

with cars, good with directions, good at fixing things, understanding of the fact that sometimes I don't think before I speak and sometimes, MAY say AWKWARD things, i'm pretty sensitive to sharp words...so gentle but firm is a HUGE plus...know that I lose my keys almost EVERY DAY...and usually find them IN THE IGNITION of my car, I lose my ID about every 6 months,

He should know that he may come home to THE ODDEST things in the house broken, LIIIIIIKE bathtubs, kitchen faucets, beds, appliances, the vacuume, cell phones, TOILET BOWLS...YES, I've actually broken a toilet, melted bowls, burned holes through furniture with the curling iron,

he better always expect THE UNEXPECTED, he can't be easily emmbarresed, in case i'm walking around with fresh stains on my shirt...HEEEEEY don't judge...at least won't have to ask me what ate that day...ahahaha... or when I spill be drink at a nice dinner, or if I happen to drop my grape drink during communion OR when his wife falls off the platform, Speaking of FALLING, I hope he's ready to catch me when I fall or AT LEAST ready to help me back up,

In other words, I'm high maintenance because of ONE THING....

This chick will NEED to a lot of maintenance

annnnd JUST may cost you a pretty penny...

BUUUUUT don't worry,

I'm worthy EVERY dollar you'll have to spend on my upkeeping!!!

BUUUUUUUUUT looking on the BRIGHTER SIDE OF THINGS,

just think, if it weren't for MARY MOMENTS,

THIS AMAZING BLOG WOULD NOT EXIST...

When I get married...

You know the scripture in the Bible from 1 Samuel, when Hannah is thanking God for her child; "For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:" (1 Samuel 1:27) Annnnnnnd A lot of times you will see signs that parent's will hang in their child's room with this scripture on it...

My sister has one hanging up in MJ's room! And it makes sense to have, to remind yourself of the face that you have recieved this gift from God. I mean, in desperation for the desire of her heart, Hannah had wept, pleaded and sought God for this child and he was the answer to her long awaited prayers.

Weeeeeeelllll...I decided that, WHEN I FINALLY GET MARRIED, I'm going to have a picture of my husband, my groom, on our wedding day, enlarged to like a poster size photo and I'm going to have enscribed on it,

FOR THIS HUSBAND I HAVE PRAYED!!!

Because, we each have our own "Hannah Request" to God and at the present moment, mine is NOT for a child...haha!!! Annnnnnnnd I'm going to look at that picture of my husband and remember that God heard my petition, my prayers, and gave to me what I asked for! Annnnnd when my husband is irritating me, or I don't feel like submitting or ANYTHING like that, I'm going to remind myself that I PRAYED FOR THIS and i'm going to tell myself to shut up and stop complaining and THANK GOD FOR MY BLESSING!!! Yup, thats what I'm going to do...

WHEN I GET MARRIED!!!

The Votaws!!!

He has preached all over the US, China, Taiwan, the Philipines, Vietnam and many more Asian countries. He preaches in underground churches in communism countries. He converted a man on death row in prison to Christ and 3 hours before that man died he baptized him in Jesus name. He prayed the first man in Vietnam to kill and americn soldier through to the Holy Ghost and Baptized him in Jesus name. He has converted trinitartin preachers all over to the Oneness doctrine...BUT ABOVE all else...I thank God that I TOO am ONE OF THOSE souls he reached out too...he gave 7 years of his life to New York City!!! I thank God that he answered the call!!! It wasn't until his 6th & final year as pastor there, that our family came into church...we were there for 9 months before we came to AZ and then right after that the Votaws left NYC for the mission fields of Asia...I THANK God that someone had a burden for NYC!!!

This is the woman that invited my Momma to a Pentecostal church!!! She told me that she was actually new in the church herself and that she would see my mom in the front yard of our house playing with us kids and she just wanted so badly for my mom to have what she had just recieved herself. It may have been just one person that she was witnessing to at that time, but that one person has had an affect on her own five children and now its her Grandchildren that are still recieving the blessing of Sis. Kathy's witness. 25 years ago, it wasn't just my mom...I may have only been two at the time, but it was ME she was winning too! I thank God she wasn't afraid to be a witness and that she didn't give up on my mom. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39) When you decide to live for God it doesn't just stop with you!
