8 years!!!

I realized recently, that in the month of October, its been 8 years since I started doing stuff with the African community!!! Aside from living for God, that's THE LONGEST I've ever been consistent with something!!! I'm soooo greatful to all the people over the years that have helped make this outreach possible. Although I've carried the burden, it wasn't until recent years that I have had my own vehicle OR for that matter EVEN been able to drive!!!

 

 Most recently, thank you to my BROTHA, TOMMY MORELAND who has picked up on being the church van driver!!! Things had kind of come to a lull with the fact that I can only take 4 kids MAX in my car and I really wanted to get a mini van and my brother's said NO a car was what I needed. And while we had a church van, for some STRANGE REASON, have NO clue WHY, my pastor doesn't feel like its a good idea for me to drive it!!! Hee, hee!!! ;) However, this past year, Tommy has been so willing to take over with the church van. He is SO PATIENT, knows how to make every kid feel special and yeah...The kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!!!

One day, I'll write ANOTHER story, but for now I wanted to share with you once again, the story of how it ALL started, ENJOY!!!

.

I sighed happily as I snuggled beneath my covers. The spring 2006 semester of college was over and for all I cared I would never be going back. After all, who needs school when you’re in love and getting married? Even though my boyfriend had not actually proposed to me, we had spent many hours on the phone talking about our wedding, and planning our future. I knew before the summer was over I would be engaged. I couldn’t help but smile; all my dreams of love and romance were finally coming true. Before I drifted off into dreamland I hugged my pillow and whispered a prayer of thanks,

“God you are so good!”

.

Several weeks later, I again lay in my bed beneath my covers. However, this time I was not smiling and whispering prayers of thanks. My head was buried in my pillow and my body shook as I sobbed the tears of a broken heart. I couldn’t understand how one day a person could be holding your hand, whispering sweet “I love you’s” then change their mind. My heart was crushed.

Something I DON'T GET...

ICE SCULPTURES!!!

They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and yet, I can't help but question the point in them! Furthermore, I can't help but question the INTELLIGENCE of the artist that sculpts them!!! Why would you put all this time and effort of your talent and ability into something that is not going to last for very long? Its an ice sculpture, sooner or later...ITS GOING TO MELT!!!
.

I don't know, buuuuuut IF I were a sculpter, which by all means I AM NOT, but if I were, I would choose to sculpt my artistic abilities in something THAT WAS GOING TO LAST!!! I would choose clay, or marble, or stone.

.

Think about Michelangelo's David statue, carved out of marble in the 1500's and it's STILL there in Italy today! What about the AMAZING Mt. Rushmore?! I've always wanted to one day see this, 14 years of HARD WORK,during the depression years of this country, BUT its STILL there today, WAITING for me to come see it!!!



An ice sculpture typically lasts an average of 4-6 hours, now it doesn't take nearly as long to make either, but if you think about it, it actually melts quicker than it actually took to make it. On the other hand, Michelangelo's David statue, Mt. Rushmore took YEARS to complete, however, they have now, OUTLIVED the years these artists took to create them.

So I repeat my question,

WHY ICE SCULPTURES???

.

If I had THAT amazing of a talent, it sure wouldn't make sense to me, to waste my ability on something that wasn't going to last. Yet, we as Christians, so often live our lives as ICE SCULPTORS!!!

.

Putting our hopes, dreams and time into things that are NOT going to last!!! This world shall melt with a fervent heat!!! The Bible clearly states it in 2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
.
Why do we place SO MUCH time and effort into the things of this world, when WE KNOW, they are NOT GOING TO LAST!!! Our jobs are JUST JOBS, they are helping us survive here in this life, but When you get to heaven, NO ONE is going to care what your CAREER was here on earth. So WHY do we put them before the things of God??? Every time I'm about to take a babysitting job that would mean missing Saturday night prayer, I have to remind myself, that the $40-$60 just IS NOT worth it! Its just a Ice sculptor in my life!

We get so caught up in THINGS!!! Clothes, cars, gadgets, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT saying that we should all start wearing potato sacks and using a horse and buggy, (Could you all imagine me TRYING to drive a horse and buggy??? BAHAHA!!!) BUT we SHOULD be finding ourselves, INVESTING MORE in the work of God, then in those things that are not going to last!!! All my cute things, Hello Kitty, hair accessories, purses, they're JUST ICE SCULPTORS, that aren't going with me to heaven. Yes, they are nice things to have, but I have to keep in perspective what REALLY MATTERS!!! "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." ( Isaiah 40:8)
.
I'm NOT against education, but I've had many friends LOOSE out with God, because they've gotten so caught up in this world's wisdom. They put school before God, yet when we get to heaven, the only knowledge that will truly last, is the knowledge of God! If your education is coming between YOU and GOD, its better to choose to increase your knowledge in God. Don't let school be an ice sculptor in your life!  "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)
.
However, there are things we can do that are like the Mt. Rushmore's in our life. There are things we can do that will OUTLIVE us!!! If you thing about it, THE ONLY things we can take to heaven with us, is MORE SOULS!!! Every dollar, every bit of time you spend, is worth it, knowing that this is a SOUL that needs to go to heaven. Your NOT wasting your time, your investing in something that will outlive you here on earth. "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."

Reading your Bible will OUTLIVE YOU!!! Time spent in God's word is NEVER WASTED!!! God's word is, GOD TALKING TO YOU!!! "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35)
.
Every time we uphold ourselves to a conviction God has placed in our heart, we are making another carving in something that is going to outlive our time here on earth. There are certain things I won't wear, not because I can't, but because GOD has convicted me.These decisions will outlive me.   I took myself off social networking sites, not because I HAD to, but because God told me too!  I'm making another carving in the Mt. Rushmore of my life. "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)
.
Pastor talked on Sunday about how Jacob's well, which was originally created in the Old Testament, is the same well that Jesus sat on when he told the woman at the well about this living water, and that well is still there today. Jacob was passing on a legacy to his children, and when we uphold our convictions, we are passing something on to our children and the future generations that are coming after us. "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children..." (Proverbs 13:22)
.
Prayer will OUTLIVE US!!! There have been many stories of people who's prayers were answered AFTER their death! This body will die, but our prayers and burdens will live on after us.  Our burdens for souls will not die in our death, God will take it and pass it on to another. Every prayer you pray is not lost or forgotten. The tears you cry in prayer are treasures to God. "You number my wanderings: put you my tears into your bottle: are they not in your book?" (Psalm 56:8) Spend your TIME in PRAYER!!! Its GOING to OUTLIVE YOU!!!

Its time to Put aside the things of this world that are just ice sculpture in our lives, things that will only last for a little while. There is not need for us to be foolish with our talents and abilities. We can invest in something that will OUTLIVE US!!!

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." The problem with being ME!!!

Soooooooo the problem with being me is that you make AMAZIN food one day, annnnnnnnnnnnnnd then THE NEXT DAY, you can't even make microwaveable POPCORN RIGHT!!!

Okaaaaaay soooo totally FUNNNNNNY STORY!!! The lil boy that I watch, he like, LOOOOOVES AND ADORES POPCORN!!! I mean like you don't even understand how much he LOVES POPCORN!!! He will eat it for BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER if we let him!!! HE LOOOOOVES POPCORN!!!

.

Soooooo another thing that he does is that when he does NOT want something, he will say BYE to it!!! If your putting his shoes on and he doesn't want them, "BYE SHOES!" If his face is dirty and you say, let me clean your face! He'll say, "Bye Face!" If you make him his lunch, if he decides that he would rather play than eat at that time, he'll say bye to whatever you made him! "Bye chicken nuggets!" If he's going with me for the day, but he doesn't feel like it at the moment, he'll say, "BYE MARY!"

WEEEEEELLLLL today, his mom sent him some microwaveable popcorn in his lunch, so I was making it for him annnnnnd I DON"T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, I promise you guys it was ONLY THREE MINUTES, buuuuuuuut the popcorn BURNT!!! Like BIG TIME!!! Like to the point of being NOTHING a ball of ashes!!!

Sooooooooo I take it out the microwave and Little Mr. Popcorn loverrrrr takes ONE LOOK AT THE POPCORN AND SAYS...

BYE POPCORN!!!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! It was soooooo HILARIOUS!!! I just totally busted up laughing!!! He has NEVERRRR said, "Bye POPCORN" before!!! buuuuuuuuut with MY COOKING SKILLS, the IMPOSSIBLE just became POSSIBLE!!! Hee, hee!!!

BREAKING NEWS...

ON MY LOVE LIFE!!!

Soooooooooo listen up EVERYONE here is my BIG NEWS...Wait, wait, DRUM ROLL PULEEEEEEEEEEZE...barump-pta=burampa...that's the drums people...use your IMAGINATION...pata-pat-ta-barumpa...i'm really NOT a very musically inclined person...In case you hadn't noticed...Okaaaaaaaaaay soooooooo yeah...BACK TO THE BREAKING NEWS ON MY LOOOOOVE LIFE...

Sooooooooooooo i'm ABOUT to be...

 ALMOST READY FOR MARRIAGE!!!

 Fo realz people!!! I know, I know, i'm 31, buuuuuuuuuuut some of us MATURE SLOOOOOOOOWLY PEOPLE!!! ANYWHO...Sooooooooooooo Saturday night, I was telling my pastor's wife that THE ONLY THING I have NOT yet accomplished is BISCUIT MAKING...I make AMAZING gravy for biscuits and gravy, buuuuuut my biscuits are FROZEN PILSBURY, everyone JUST THINKS, i'm that AWESOME...buuuuuuuut I"M NOT!!!

.

Annnnnnd I've BEEN TRYING for the last year or so to accomplish biscuit baking, buuuuuut they come out like SOFT ROCKS!!! Did I tell you about last years epidemic for our Thanksgiving feast at church, I worked and slaved for HOURS, not to mention the wasted cost of money, trying to make AMAZING BISCUITS annnnd NO...SOFT ROCKS... of course, my soft rocks at the Thanksgiving feast were QUICKLEY forgotten when I ummmmmm crashed into someone from my church that night...Buuuuuut yeah...SOFT ROCKS...they actually made it through the accident UNDAMAGED...bahahahahaha!!! NO SURPRISE there!!!

Sooooooooo I KNEW I could NOT get married without knowing how to make AMAZING BISCUITS!!! Men LOVE BISCUITS...Or soooo the ones that I know do!!! People told me, HELLLLLLLOOOOO MARY, its called BISQUICK!!! I was like, say whaaaaaat??? BISQUICK???

 *GASP!!! For MY FUTURE-Godly-Handsome-On-fire-for-God-burden-for-the-lost-normal-guy-with-a-decent-job-not-in-debt-owns-a-car-never-been-married-no-kids-Unless-they're-adopted-OR-he-is-a-widower-tithe-payer-submitted-to-his-pastor-prayer-warrior-Bible-reading-spiritual-leader-family-loving-patient-no-pink-or-happy-sock-wearing-manly-man-HUNK-of-a-husband????

I DON'T EVEN THINK SO!!! NOOOOOOT FOR MY MAN!!! AhHAHAHAHA!!! Unless i'm totally SICK OR  pregnant...about to give birth or we've had like 20 kids and ya know, BISQUICK IS A MUST BUUUUUT YEAH...I WANNA MAKE MY OWN BISCUITS!!!

Sooooooooo ANYWAYZ, I was telling my pastor's wife after church this past Saturday that it was THE ONLY THING that I have NOT ACCOMPLISHED IN COOKING TERMS that I really WANT TOO, annnnnd she said that SHE WOULD TEACH ME!!!

I WAS LIKE OMW!!! If I learn how to do this, I will be OFFICIALLY READY to GET MARRIED!!!! *SCREEEEEEECH!!!! My pastor was like, OK, if I had KNOWN that learning HOW TO MAKE BISCUITS was THE ONLY THING holding you back from getting married, I would have made sure you got biscuit lessons A LONG TIME AGO!!! BAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sooooooooo yeah, Sis. Abbott sent me the recipe for these AMAZING drop biscuits and she went over with me some stuff to do annnnnnd THIS WEEKEND I will be starting to learn!!! THEN, if I get these accomplished she has ANOTHER recipe for cut out biscuits that I can start working on...WHICH are what you NEED for BISCUITS ANNNNND GRAVY!!! You guys, you guys, BISCUITS AND GRAVY HAS TAKEN ON A WHOLE NEW LEVEL!!!!

End of the week THANKFULNESS!!!

Im thankful that I live in AZ...even if its still 82 and I gotta use my AC in the middle of Thanksgiving day!!!! Hee, hee!!! AT LEAST I have AC in my car!!!!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd speaking of MY CAR, I am VERY GREATFUL for my car, THE HUNK!!! He's a good man to me!!! Even if he is kinda a flirt!!! I JUST testified at church about how awesome my car is and PASTOR said, and ALSO that your car hasn't met any OTHER CARS yet...then two days later, MY CAR MET ANOTHER CAR...a ummmm...ahem...Mercedes...I'm like REALLY, A MERCEDES???? don't you think she's kinda out of your league!!!??? Not to much damage tho...He's just got a permanent WINK now as one of my friends so kindly pointed out to me!!! BAHAHA!!! I dnt know why ALL my cars have to be such flirts tho?!?!

Im also thankful that my brother makes THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVERRRRR!!!

Im thankful that I like to cook...really I LOVE IT!!!

This is what I contributed to our family dinner!!!! Creamed corn, scalloped potatoes, Pumpkin pie truffles, green bean casserole and apple pie!!! I found recipes to make the creamed corn like from scratch in the crockpot and I found this AMAZING recipie for green bean casserole, NO NASTY CREAM OF MUSHROOM JUNK!!!!

I'm thankful for a good Thanksgiving day with my family and extended family!!!

I'm thankful for Adventures in Odyssey!!! I freely admit that I listen ALL DAY LONG!!! Just can't get ENOUGH!!! Im thankful for the AIO Club and for my Adventures in odyssey HOODY!!!

I'm Thankful for...

Weeeeeeelllll I obviously have SOOOOOO much to be thankful for buuuuut today, the one thing that I really, really, REALLY want to thank God for is for HAPPINESS!!! Really for JOY!!! For God's JOY!!!  The world will try and fool you in to believing that they are happy...

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut DON"T Let this world FOOL YOU!!!

Real joy comes from KNOWING JESUS!!! I remember in college, before I dropped out, I stood in front of my class and gave my autobiography and I told my class, THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE, was the day I got THE HOLY GHOST!!! I said that I obeyed Acts 2:38, I read them the scripture and they just STARED AT ME a few snickered, I said, I know it may sound weird to you all, but when I'm sad and when I go through hard times, I don't have to turn to beer, drugs or counselors!!!

.

I'll never forget as long as I live, the night I got the Holy Ghost, I stood in my mom's room and I told her, "MOM, I can't fall asleep tonight, I'm JUST SOOOOO HAPPPPPPY!!!" I was 6-years-old then, and I'm 31 now, buuuuuuuuut i'm still, just SOOOOO HAPPY!!!" The night I got the Holy Ghost is STILL the best day of my life!!!

That was the night...

 I GOT JOY!!!

Yes, this Thanksgiving, I want to give God a special Thank you for giving me JOY!!! Thank you Jesus for this beautiful, precious gift!!!

Sooooo we had the Trevino's with us again on Sunday for another great service!!!!

Holy Ghost Partaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!

Every year our church does what we call the Holy Ghost party! Its a Harvest Festival where the kids can come dressed up as Bible Characters!!!

I was VERY HYPERRRRR!!! When Tommy turned on the black gospel, "Living he Loved me!" in the church van I like SCREAMED SOOOOOOO LOUD!!! Tommy was like HYSTERICAL laughing!!!

LPC Youth Rally!!!

Our church's Youth Rally last night was AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!! I was a greeter, Which I LOVE doing, big surprise RIGHT?! ;))) This was me,  Praise The Lord, WELCOME TO LANDMARK!!!! NO ONE got by the doors of our sanctuary without a Mar Bear HUG, or if you were a guy, a Mar Bear SHAKE!!! Hee, hee!!!

.

The song service had a great spirit of worship annnnnnd our church chorale was SOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!! I know we're not supposed to like brag, buuuut i feel like I can because the awesomeness of the choir had NOTHING to do with me!!! LOL We sang The Abbott's song, "Washed in the Blood!" Bishop Abbott sang the verses...OMW it was sooooooooooo GOOOOOD!!! I felt the annointing of God during that song!!! 

.

The for the preaching...BRO. TREVINO!!! You know, the Pacific Coast Camp Principal!!! 

It was AWESOME!!! He preached a message called, "The two Attitudes At The King's Table!" It was sooooooooooooo good!!! He basically talked about the people that are unhappy because of what THEY CAN'T DO!!! What they CAN'T HAVE!!! And they're filled with the Holy Ghost and have all the blessings of God before them, but all they can think about what THEY DON'T HAVE!!! Then there are the other people at the Kings Table! The ones that never knew this truth, buuuuut they somehow got taken into the kings table and now they are so THANKFUL FOR IT!!! Obviousley it was a LOT better than one I just said, we had a POWERFUL alter call!!! Young people were literally running to the alter!!! I highly reccomend hearing it!!!

Sooooooo today i'm paying a bill on the phone right?! You know how it is with these bill people, its all cut and dry, just doing their job!!! So she is like getting all my info and the lady says, Can you confirm that your Mary Ginty? I'm like, Ok, how do I do that? She's like, What did you just say? I'm like, How am I supposed to confirm that I'm Mary Ginty?! She's like, well you just say, YES! I'm like, OOOOOoooooH! OKAAAAAAAAAY! YES!!! AHAHAHA! The lady just busts up laughing! Then I started laughing!!! The two of are just totally cracking up on the phone!!! She's like, I've NEVER had anyone ask me before how to confirm who they are!!! I'm like, That's cuz you've NEVER TALKED TO ME BEFORE!!! AHAHAHA!!

The BEST DREAM!!!

Today I want to share with you all,  THE BEST DREAM I've ever had!!! I've had good dreams and I've had bad dreams, NIGHTMARES, buuuut more than anything, I've had A LOT of good dreams!!! As single woman, you can imagine what MANY of  those good dreams are, yup, me walking down the aisle with, dunt-dunt-ta-da, to the wedding march music, you know YOU ALL have the same kind of dreams too...Its like THE BEST dream...THEN YOU WAKE UP!!! Aaaaauuuughhh!!!

.

Recently I had this REALLY amazing, dream that I was looking at a photograph of a bride AND IT was ME ...annnnnnnnnnnd OMW I LOOOOOOKED SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! (I'm saying that in a humble-to-God-be-ALL-the-glory-way!;) Not even lying people, that's what I thought when I was looking at the picture!!! And you know it was a dream cuz I didn't even question who the groom was, I just looked at the picture and thought I looked GOOOOOD!!! AHAHAHAH!!! I woke up thinking, WOW, some man is gonna be really blessed...THATS ALL IM SAYIN!!! Hee, hee!!!;)

.

But you know what, that WASN'T THE BEST DREAM THAT I"VE EVER HAD!!! The best dream I ever had was a dream one time of the rapture. Now I've had rapture dreams before, buuuuut they were really NIGHTMARES because the trumpet blew and I wasn't going up!!! However, IN THIS DREAM, the rapture happened and I felt myself in slow-motion beginning to rise up in the sky. Now obviously we know what the Bible says and that in reality its going to happen quicker than a blink of the eye, but this was just a dream.

.

Marriage, babies, cars, careers, vacations, homes, education, wealth,  but my friends may I tell you something, there is NO dream or desire that we have here on this earth, that is going to surpass the feeling we are going to feel when we get to heaven. Oh if we could get something inside of us that will make us long for heaven like we long for our earthly dreams. You guys there is really nothing that is going to compare to knowing that you made it to heaven. That is our ULTIMATE GOAL! OUR ULTIMATE DREAM!!! We're living this life, to live again!!! Don't get to comfortable, this world is NOT our home!!! Nothing else will really matter, when we see Jesus face to face. Think about it! Dwell on it! Inside scoop of the ladies room at WCC!!!

Guys, do you ever wonder WHY the ladies room ALWAYS has a line??? ALWAYS!!! Let me give you THE INSIDE SCOOP OF WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THERE!!! It has NOTHING to do with the ACTUAL USE OF THE BATHROOM!!! One word sums it up...

Vanity!!!

PURE VANITY!!!

BAHAHAHAA!!!

At almost ANY GIVEN TIME, you can find girls lined up by the mirrors in the bathroom!!! Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut ESPECIALLY AFTER CHURCH, AFTER ALTER CALL!!!!

APOSTOLIC GIRLS BE LIKE...

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! For realz guys, this is whats going on n there!!! I'm surprised some girls don't pull out lil blow dryers to dry their eyelashes after crying too!!! YES, I admit that from time to time I curl my eyelashes...mostly just for conferances...selfies...ETC...if I remember, but half the time these days i'm just like, EH, WHATEV!!! And I most definitely don't have the time to go into the bathroom after church to RECURL THEM...that's taking away from my SOCIALIZING!!! Hee, hee!!! ;)

Soooooo superrr funny story about me curling my eyelashes!!! I used to BE SOOO into it tho!!! Soooo like this one time I came up with this BRILLIANT idea to ACTUALLY put some Aussie freeze hair spray on my eye lashes to keep the curl in longer and better...don't worry I didn't SPRAY IT, just put it on my fingers...OOOOoooH they looked soooooo GOOOOOD after I curled them!!! And they stayed looking AWESOME the whole time...I was like, OH YES, Aussie Freeze still works its charm!!! THEN we had a really good alter call...annnnnd yeah there were tears coming out of my eyes...which mixed with the freeze...annnnnd BURN...OUCH annnnnd... AHEM... I LEARNED MY LESSON!!! CLASSIC MARY MOMENT!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Anywayz, I honestly don't think i'm EVERRR actually THAT CLOSE to a guy for him to ACTUALLY NOTICE if my eyelashes are curled!!! Guys, what do YOU THINK OF GIRLS curling their eyelashes??? Do you care? Do you even notice? Do you notice if their eyelashes are curled before church BUT NOT AFTER???

West Coast 2014!!!

West Coast 2014...soooooooo I think we're going to be able to get the whole entire conference in ONE POST!!! soooooooooo THE NON-SPIRITUAL HIGHTLIGHT of the conference for me was that the guys from Attwater guessed me to be SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD!!!! I was like, off the wall hysterical about this, someone else guessed me the first night as 18, and yeah....the oldest I got guessed the whole time was 21....WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! Soooooo yeah, the oldest I got guessed was 10 years younger than what I ACTUALLY AM!!! OH YEAH!!!

Now the HEART BREAK OF THE CONFERANCE WAS...the fact that EVEN THO I LOOK YOUNGER...I STILL WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GO TO THE YOUTH NIGHT!!! Waaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!! Total BUMMMMMERRRRRR!!!  Yeah, I know that the youth night is laaaaaaaaaaaaame....buuuuut if your friends are all there being LAAAAAME...you wanna be there being LAAAAAAME TOO!!!

  I was gonna just buy a ticket and go...buuuuuuuuut then I felt guilty about it...like, ya know, I don't wanna be a bad example!!!! Sooooooo I did the right thing and ASKED...and got told NO...sooooo THE MORAL TO THAT STORY IS...Don't ask!!! JUST KIDDING!!!! The moral of the story is, JUST BECAUSE YOU DO THE RIGHT THING DOESN"T MEAN THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU WANT, BUUUUUUUUT STILL DO THE RIGHT THING!!!! See, ya DO LEARN some things by 31...bahaha!!!!

I told my pastor when I got back about how I was gonna buy a ticket and jus go and then I didn't, and he looks at me with this totally serious look on his face, I and says, You see Mary, the problem with THAT, is that EVEN THO YOU LOOK YOUNGER, if you had bought a ticket and just gone in, once they had seen the EXTREMELY MATURE manner in which you were acting, they would have known that there was NO WAY you were under 31!!! BAHAHAHAHA!!! That cracked me up!!! Then my pastor's wife said, JUST KIDDING!!! We'll have an ordination service to make you a youth leader by next WCC so you can go as a chaperone!!! (Btw: In case you didn't figure it out...That's a joke about the ordination service people!!! LOL)

No fear!!!

Sooooooooo tonight Sis. Abbott was teaching the class about fears...she was naming all different kinds of things that people are scared of!!! All these crazy phobias right?!?!?! Buuuuuuut of ALL the phobias, this one cracked me up THE MOST!!! Its called; Catoptrophobia This is THE FEAR OF LOOKING IN THE MIRROR!!! I like busted up laughing!!!

ahahahahaha!!! I WAS like weeeeeeeelll that is most definatley NOT a fear of mine!!! Annnnnd Sis. Abbott was like to the class, YES, we all know that LOOKING in the mirror is NOT a fear of Sis. Mary's!!! BAHAHAHA!!!

WCC CMMS begin!!!

Soooooo it started this morning, I got to Sky Harbor airport at 6:30 am!!! The big sis was kind enough to drop me off before she went to work! Thanks T!!! Purrrrrr!!!!

Anywayz, I got there at 6:30, my flight wasn't even boarding till 10:30... First things first, gotta go find a Starbucks!!!! Then I called Jen Lord, somehow I knew that she was gonna be the only friend that answered at 7:00 am!!! Then pizza for breakfast at the airport, NYPD by 8:45!!! Lol

.

Finally some friends start waking up and responding to my textes!!!!! Then I go for a walk.... Finally it's boarding time I got to my gate and the guy says this isn't the gate for Fresno...I kinda start getting nervous... It's time to board??? WHY DOES MY BOARDING PASS SAY B7???? 

.

They were like oh that flight was changed to b18... Which was across the airport aways.. Buuuuut I booked it overe there annnnnnd still managed to be one of the first on my flight... Thanks to my super sonic turbo sneakers... A great buuuuut expensive investment!!!

Soooooo then when I landed and I went to get my luggage, it wasn't there!!! I started freaking out!!! Like seriously, what am I gonna do???? I asked the guy and he said that was all the luggage!!!! He directed me to.a line across the way that was lke wrapping around it was sooooo long!!!

.

What was I going to do?! I neverrrr care what people think, buuuuuut even I don't have the guts to go to WCC in my amazing turbo sneakers!!! None of the girls are my size and anyone that is, probably doesn't have my style.... No offense to anyone reading this, that's my size... Lol!!! 

.

I was like seriously about cry!!!! Hanna was trying to calm me down... she's like, I'm sure they are there SOMEWHERE they always are!!! I'm like, YEAH, EXCEPT ON AIO when Eugene's luggage gets lost and somehow ends  up in TOKYO!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! :,(

FINALLY I get up to the front counter and I am telling the chick my predictament, she's like, ummm, ok lets see, I'm like, its black with white polka dots!!! She's like, OH ITS BACK THERE!!! For some reason I noticed that suitcase back there!!! (Musta been that spirit of HOLINESS oozing off my MODEST APOSTOLIC CLOTHES from the inside!!! Oooo YEAH that's what I think!!!;) A few minutes later she comes wheeling it out of there and LET ME TELL YOU, I was soooooooooo HAPPY!!! I was ready to hug my suitcase right there on the spot!!!

I was like, WHO NEEDS A BOYFRIEND???

I'm just HAPPY TO HAVE MY SUITCASE!!!!

What took you SOOOOO LONG?!?!

Sooooooooooo I went grocery shopping for my mom today!!! I got to Frys at 3:45 and left at 7;45!!!

 Yes people, this was EVERYTHING ON MY MOM'S LIST!!!

They had some really good sales...combined with all of her coupons her total was only $179!!! I'm like, WOW!!! Go MOM!!! When I FINALLY got back to the house tho, she was all like, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG???

I UNROLLED THIS RECIPT IN FRONT OF HER AND SAID...

I have NO IDEA MOM!!!

ANNNNND MY CAR KEYS!!!

True story people!!! I was totally FREAKING OUT!!! I prayed for God to help me to find them!!! I searched my purse like three times! Searched the bathroom! Asked the front desk if someone turned them in, went back to the room i was in and searched in there, searched my whole car, then I prayed AGAIN, I was like God, you know where these keys are, PULEEEEEZE HELP ME FIND THEM!!! and then I searched my purse ONE MORE TIME and they were there!!!!! I was the happiest girl in the world at that moment!!! Thank you JESUS!!!!! Purrrrrrr!!!!!

The end results of WCC 2014!!!!

After having it INTACT for ONE WHOLE YEAR...

I FINALLY LOST MY FAKE TOOTH!!!

No  CLUE what happened to it...I just know that I looked in the mirror last night and realized that it was GONE!!! No comprehension of when it ACTUALLY disappeared!!!! Surprisingly, I really wasn't to upset about it...I have my implant in now and have just been avoiding getting the cap/crown on, sooooo I guess now I'll have to get my permanent FAKE TOOTHI IN!!!! I pretty much showed EVERYONE it today...just to make sure they knew, THAT I KNEW, that my tooth was GONE!!!

After showing it to everyone, my buddies, Mikey and Coco, came to me with concern like the friends of Job.

Them: Mary, are you ok?

Me:  yes! Why?

Them: are YOU SURE your OK? Whats going on with you?

Me: What are you guys talking about?

Them: We just want to make sure everything in your life is ok! That your right with God!

Me: Huh?!?! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT??? TELL ME!!!!

After going on  for a lil bit, they finally grin at each other like two Cheshire cats, then hand me one of their phones with this scripture pulled up on it...
