Sooooooooo a few weeks ago, we went out to eat with my brother and his family after church and my sister is talking to my sister in law Grace about something and I'm not really paying attention and she's like, yeah, Mary said I'm at least as pretty as so and so...AAAAND I INTERRUPT...

Weeeeeeeeeeeeellllll my nephew Kyle hears this and not having any idea what the actual convo is, he says, HEEEEEEEY AUNT MARY!!!! YOUR WRONG!!! You said that AUNT THERESA IS PRETTIER THAN MY MOM annnnd that's NOT TRUE!!! MY MOM IS PRETTIER!!!

I don't even bother correcting what Kyle THINKS I said, I just bust up laughing!!! When all of the sudden theres this roar from across the table...

YOU. ARE. WRONG!!! Odin has now joined the conversation, your mom is NOT PRETTIER THAN MY MOM, MY MOM IS PRETTIER THAN YOUR MOM!!! 

They're now yelling back and forth WHOSE mom is prettier! MY MOM! NOOOOO, MY MOM!!! NO MY MOM IS PRETTIER!!!! NO MY MOM IS THE PRETTIEST!!! And we're just all sitting there laughing soooooooo hard at them!!!

Sooooo of course I had to bring him a treat, a TEXAS-sized donut!!! Hee, hee!!! 

Annnnnnnnnd he is reading it through AGAIN and is already on 2 Kings!!! GOOD JOB JOSEPH!!! Grandma would be soooooooooooo HAPPY AND PROUD OF YOU!!! She loved reading her Bible!!! I bet she's in heaven right now shaking a GOLDEN TAMBOURINE!!! Saying,

Just call me Aunt_____!!!

So one morning recently, we were out doing our early morning hike and for whatever reason, Odie was being rude to me...can't quite remember WHY at the moment, most likely because I was telling him to do something he didn't want to do...LOL!!! So I'm like, Say sorry for being rude! He says, NO! I'm like, You say sorry to me! Once again, NO! I'm like, NO! SAY IT! Weeeeeeellll we're go back and forth, both being equally stubborn. So when he isn't in school, I take him swimming in the afternoons, I'm like, YOU SAY SORRY  for being rude AUNT MARY, or else we're NOT going swimming later! 

So he looks at me with a HUGE GRIN and says,

 SORRY AUNT RUDE!!!

Sooooooo there you have it my friends, JUST CALL ME, 

AUNT RUDE!!!

AHAHAHAAAAAA!!! Such a little stinker!!! Just kinda, IMPROVISED what I told hem to say!!! LOL Annnnnnnnnnd YES, he did win the battle, I was laughing too hard to continue it!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Oh man, I sooooo love this high maintenance little blessing!!!!

Soooooo Sunday night at church, my lil nephew Kyle came to sit with me during pre-service prayer at church. So we're praying together and then he just reaches up and touches my face and says,

YOUR SO CUTE MARMIE!!! 

(They call me Aunt Marmie)

 Weeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllll...that got him the biggest MAR BEAR SQUEAL, HUG, KISS, SQUEEZE ANNNNNNNNNNND THE WHOLE SHABANG!!!

Sooooooo a few weeks ago, at my niece Bethany's birthday party, she had a bounce house with all the Disney princesses on it. (In between jumping with the kids and getting bit by a giant ant in which got the kids hysterically laughing, Aunt Mary has an ant in her pants ANNNNND my aunt got bit by an ANT!!!)I Randomly, I turned to my nephew Joseph and said,

IF you could marry ANY of these princesses, which one would you pick????

He thought about it for a moment, then without hesitating, he turned to me and said, 

I WOULD PICK YOU!!!! 

I was like, AWWWW!!! Isn't that the sweetest thing everrrr???

Soooooo yesterday morning, during the preaching, pastor is talking about Jezebel and right when he says, and when Jezebel realized that all her FALSE PROPHETS WERE DEAD... Odin happily and loudly says, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! And starts clapping and cheering!!!!

His cheering was for something ELSE buuuuuuut it was PERFECT TIMING!!! Gotta loooooove the funny moments at church!!! Whoever says church is BORING has NEVERRRRR been to MY CHURCH!!! Hee, hee!!!

Proud Auntie Moment!!!

Sooooooooooo I had the proudest Auntie moment the other day with MJ!!! I'm dropping her off at school, Glendale Christian Academy, and as she is getting out of the car she sees one of the boys she likes walking in too! She says, to me, Oooooh he's looking GOOD today! (Mind you he's wearing the school uniform  just like EVERY OTHER BOY at the school!!! LOL) The she says, OH and he's carrying his Bible with him TOO...

If Jesus was Carmel...

The other day we're at my mom's and MJ comes into the kitchen with a box of Ritz crackers. She's like, Mary look, if Jesus were Carmel they could use these! I'm like, huh??? She's like, IF Jesus were carmel they could use these crackers!!! I'm like, HUH??? Now she's getting flustered with me, she's like, IF JESUS WAS CARMEL they could use these crackers!!! I'm like, use the crackers for WHAT??? Oooooooh you mean for COMMUNION??? She's like, YES!!!

IF JESUS WERE CARMEL THEY COULD USE THESE CRACKERS FOR COMMUNION!!!

Ahahahahahahaha!!! I was laughing soooo hard now!!!! She's like, YOU KNOW because its supposed to be Jesus' body!!! I'm like, YEAH, I know! Now that you say it, it makes PERFECT SENSE! I'm like, annnnnnnnnd YOU KNOW what??? Jesus ACTUALLY WAS CARMEL!!! She's like, WHAT???? He was REALLY? I'm like, Yeah! Well he was Jewish and according to what Bishop Abbott has always taught us, and of course none of us really know FOR SURE, buuuuut most likely Jesus was a medium shade of brown...which is CARMEL!!! Mary Jo was like, Wow! I didn't know this! No one ever told me! Jesus was carmel, JUST LIKE ME!!!! I'm like, YEAH GIRL!!!

Then she pauses and is like, WAIT!!! So then WHY do they use the white crackers for communion??? I'm like, Uh, IDK!!! She's like, OKAAAAAAAAY, its supposed to be Jesus' body and he's carmel! Those crackers they're using are NOT carmel, they're WHITE!!!

 

THEN She's like, Oh Mary, do you think maybe Pastor doesn't know about Ritz crackers??? I'm like, Ummmmmm...UH...maybe...She's like with such concern, we should let him know Mary...Maybe you should text him right now...I'm thinkin OR we just let Sis. Abbott know when she reads my blog and she can pass the message on to her hubby!!! AHAHAHA!!! Soooooooooooooo Sis. Abbott FYI: MJ wants you guys to know that...

Jose, do you love me?!

Soooooo I told you all about how MJ said THE SWEEEEEETEST thing to me the other day when I asked her if she loved me!!! Weeeeeelllll NOW I gotta tell you all about when I asked my NEPHEW if he loved me!!!!

Sooooooo I had gotten dropped off at McDonald's with MJ & Jose and spent about two hours there with them...AND you would think that AFTER alllll that Jose would be INCREDIBLEY GREATFUL for his wonderful Aunt Mary...RIGHT????

Sooooo we're in the car gettin ready to leave and I look back at the lil gwapo Jose and I am all like, Jose, do you LOVE ME??? He just ignores me!!!! I'm like JOSE!!! Do you love Aunt Mary???He just IGNORES ME!!! I'm like JOSE!!!!!!!! Say that you LOVE AUNT MARY!!!!!!

.Without even turning to glance at me, he continues staring out the window and responds to my SAY-THAT-YOU-LOVE-ME plee with a, "NO! I'm BUSY!!!"  I'm like JOSE!!!! SAY THAT YOU LOVE AUNT MARY!!!!!!!!!! He yells out...I SAID...

I'm BUUUUUUUUUUUSY!!!

I'm like JOSE, do you want to jump on my bed????? He is just silent...buuuuut I can see he is thinkin about it...cuz i have THE BEST jumpin bed and HE LOVES JUMPIN ON IT!!!! I'm like JOSE, if you want to jump on Aunt Mary's bed...YOU HAD BETTER HOLD MY HAND!!!!!!

Proud Auntie moment #10204757

Sooooo as ALL of you faithful blog readers know... I LOVE TAKING pictures of myself!!! LOL! Here I am at the ocean last week, my sister-in-law caught this picture of me...HAHAHA!!! Call me conceited, full of myself...or just plain CRAZY...but its a hobby of mine and I am really QUITE good at it!!! ;) In fact, I personally think that i can take a better picture of myself than most professional photographers!!! My family and friends really don't even think twice when they see me in action...I can be snappin away pics of myself and we're all still just chattin away like normal!!! Well yesturday evening I had a TOTAL proud Auntie moment!!! I was holding my nephew, Jose, and I was letting him play with my phone, which is what I take most of my self portraits on. Soooo Jose is playing with it then he just holds it up in front of his face and TRYS TO TAKE A PICTURE OF HIMSELF!!! I was like...OMW...I screamed and was laughing hysterically...and yeah...basically I was just really proud of him!!! Can't believe he picked up on that already!!!
