Hello Kitty!!!!

Soooooooooooooo this past month, I was an amazing auntie and waited with my niece for 3.5 hours to go see the HELLO KITTY CAFE VAN!!!!

Was it worth it???
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Buuuuuut after waiting and hour I was COMMITED!!! LOL
 

Annnnnnd plus now I can add it to my list of totally RAD things I've accomplished in life!!! :)

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd LOOK the hub caps even have pink bows on it!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!! Awwwwwwwww!!!!

Annnnnnnnnnnd I found out that their were WAAAAAAAY crazier, ADULT Hello Kitty fans than ME!!! I mean, I'm like, MILD compared to these folks!!! The girl in the above pic was DRESSED like a Hello Kitty-Kat, the girl behind me was ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT HOW HER DREAM IS TO GET MARRIED AT HELLO KITTY LAND IN JAPAN!!! Yes, there really IS a hello kitty land and YES, I want to go there, buuuuuuuuuut NOOOOOO I don't want to get married there!!! I mean, COME ON PEOPLE!!!

And then the mom in front of me, her daughter has to go to the bathroom, so she just PICKS HER UP, and has go by the tree!!!! I was like ummmm, We're in SCOTTSDALE, THE SCOTTSDALE QUARTER, this is NOT the best place just have your daughter PEE on the rocks..."I'm jus sayin!" I woulda GLADLY saved your spot for you in line had you SIMPLY ASKED ME!!! You shoulda seen MJ tho, her mouth was hanging open, then the two of us could NOT stop laughing!!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!

Finally we're there, and our sales lady was this adorable lil Asian chick...Asians LOVE Hello Kitty, she was created by one of their people!!!

Stultz just couldn't UNDERSTAND WHY I would pay $3 for a water bottle!!! I'm like, Jonathon, its PINK, Its HELLO KITTY, and its in the SHAPE OF A BOW, need we ask ANY MORE QUESTIONS???

Proud Auntie Moment!!!

Sooooooooooo I had the proudest Auntie moment the other day with MJ!!! I'm dropping her off at school, Glendale Christian Academy, and as she is getting out of the car she sees one of the boys she likes walking in too! She says, to me, Oooooh he's looking GOOD today! (Mind you he's wearing the school uniform  just like EVERY OTHER BOY at the school!!! LOL) The she says, OH and he's carrying his Bible with him TOO...

Uncle Dude and MJ!!!!

So the other day MJ says to me, "you know, Abraham is such a good brother, you know to go pick up my mom when she needed him to! That was really NICE of him!" I'm like, awwww yeah, Abie is really sweet!" He really IS you guys! He's the baby of the family, I call him Abie Baby, his nieces and nephews refer to him as Uncle Dude, and his wife calls him her panda bear...AWWWW!!! Anyways, then MJ says, yeah I think he is REALLY sweet!!! Then she pauses to think about it and says...

SWEETARTS!!! 

AHAHAHAHA!!! Awwwww isn't that SOOOO CUUUUUTE!?!?!?!?! Then she tells me, yeah, I've been eating A LOT of sweet tarts too you know! Ahahahahahahaha!!! Like as if to let  me know that she is TRYING to get sweet like her Uncle Dude!!! LOL I refrained from telling her that instead of SWEETARTS...

 she may want to try a REFILLING OF

This morning I'm sitting in my room with my niece, at my vanity, fixin up my hair, (Still rockin Sunday Leftovers!!!) So im fixin and sprayin, accessorizing, etc...

And MJ looks at me completely serious and says, "You better be careful!" I'm like, of what???? All those men at the store, WHEN THEY SEE YOU TODAY...

I'm like, AWWWW, thanks MJ!!! Buuuuuut I'm pretty sure I'll be SAFE at the grocery store girrrrrrrrrlllll!!! She's like, well, you never know, you know!!! True, true, I know she's remembering several incidents I've had at grocery stores...

MJ's Father's Day Card!!!!

Soooooooooo all on her own, my niece decided that she wanted to give her DAD a Father's Day card....

Soooooooooo she made a card, got all decorated just the way she wanted...

Wrote him a special note, telling him that she loved him, THEN she tied it to some balloons,

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd sent her Father's day card to her DADDY!!!

JESUS!!! The best daddy anyone could EVERRRRR ask for!!!!

If Jesus was Carmel...

The other day we're at my mom's and MJ comes into the kitchen with a box of Ritz crackers. She's like, Mary look, if Jesus were Carmel they could use these! I'm like, huh??? She's like, IF Jesus were carmel they could use these crackers!!! I'm like, HUH??? Now she's getting flustered with me, she's like, IF JESUS WAS CARMEL they could use these crackers!!! I'm like, use the crackers for WHAT??? Oooooooh you mean for COMMUNION??? She's like, YES!!!

IF JESUS WERE CARMEL THEY COULD USE THESE CRACKERS FOR COMMUNION!!!

Ahahahahahahaha!!! I was laughing soooo hard now!!!! She's like, YOU KNOW because its supposed to be Jesus' body!!! I'm like, YEAH, I know! Now that you say it, it makes PERFECT SENSE! I'm like, annnnnnnnnd YOU KNOW what??? Jesus ACTUALLY WAS CARMEL!!! She's like, WHAT???? He was REALLY? I'm like, Yeah! Well he was Jewish and according to what Bishop Abbott has always taught us, and of course none of us really know FOR SURE, buuuuut most likely Jesus was a medium shade of brown...which is CARMEL!!! Mary Jo was like, Wow! I didn't know this! No one ever told me! Jesus was carmel, JUST LIKE ME!!!! I'm like, YEAH GIRL!!!

Then she pauses and is like, WAIT!!! So then WHY do they use the white crackers for communion??? I'm like, Uh, IDK!!! She's like, OKAAAAAAAAY, its supposed to be Jesus' body and he's carmel! Those crackers they're using are NOT carmel, they're WHITE!!!

 

THEN She's like, Oh Mary, do you think maybe Pastor doesn't know about Ritz crackers??? I'm like, Ummmmmm...UH...maybe...She's like with such concern, we should let him know Mary...Maybe you should text him right now...I'm thinkin OR we just let Sis. Abbott know when she reads my blog and she can pass the message on to her hubby!!! AHAHAHA!!! Soooooooooooooo Sis. Abbott FYI: MJ wants you guys to know that...

Happy Gotcha Day!!!

Today, May 16th, is the day that we got my niece Mary Jo!!! Weeeeeeelllll at least my sister got her in foster care, it wasn't until November of 2011 that she was officially adopted and became a Ginty!!! Buuuuuuuuuuut this is the day that my big sis became a MOM!!!

Annnnnnnnnnnnd I became an Aunt!!! MJ is soooooo much more to me than just my niece, she is also the little sister I ALWAYS wanted!!! Annnnnnd YES, with that being said, there are times when my sister ACTUALLY thinks there are two kids living in the house...Heh, heh! (Heeeeeey I got her a mothers day present!!! Hee, hee!) We do our hair, accessorize, and talk about guys together and believe it or not, MJ actually keeps all my our guy talk a secret!!!!

 

 

Something cool that happened a while ago was that I was sending someone a pic of me with MJ and one of her friends and I was like, This is my niece and my adopted niece. I was saying adopted niece about one of MJ'S friends when I realized that MJ actually IS the one that's adopted, buuuuut I didn't even think about it! She's MY NIECE!!! No "adopted niece" neccasary!!! I LOOOOOOVE here sooooo much!!! Happy Gottcha Day MJ!!!! I'm sooooooo glad that out of all the people in the world, We're the family that GOTCHA!!!!! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

MJ back in the day!!!

The other day I was remembering this HILARIOUS moment with MJ from when she was probably like 7ish or so years old!!!

Sooo at this time, the big diet craze that we were all doing was Weight Watchers, like me, my sis and quite a few people at church were doing weight watchers...soooo of course we're ALWAYS talking about it!!! 

WEEEEEELLLLL  this one day,  I am at the store with my neice MJ. As we are cruisin around with our cart, MJ VERY KINDLY, looks over at this lady who is a little chunky but NOT huge, then she says to me loud and clear for ALL the world to hear, "OH Mary!" She says in total excitement, "WE SHOULD TELL THAT LADY ABOUT WEIGHT WATCHERS!!!!" I just stood there...FROZEN in place...mouth hangin open...like OMW!!! What do you say? What do you do???

AAAAUUUUGGGHHH!

I'm like, OMW MARY JO!!!

I think maybe WE SHOULD GO BUY SOME DUCT TAPE....

FOR YOUR MOUTH!!!

(Of course, after the 10-second shock wore off, I was HYSTERICAL!;)

Cat meat!!!!

Soooooooooo one of MJ's teachers from her school was telling me about them teasing her about eating food from Fedricos...you know the ghetto-open-24hrs-drive-thru Mexican resturaunt...I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THAT PLACE...best quesadillas EVERRR!!! Anywayz, so her teacher said she was teasing her about eating there!

She was joking with her that their food there is made out of cat meat! She MJ was like NO ITS NOT!! And she was like, oh yeah it IS!!! And of course MJ was like, NOOOO! And her teacher was like, oh IT IS!!! And if you keep eating the food it will start turning YOU into a cat! And MJ was like, NO IT WON'T! ANd she said, yes it WILL! Pretty soon you will start meowing!!!

She said that THEN MJ's eyes got ALL big, like she was getting convinced of her teacher's teasing and she says, WELL actually,

SOMETIMES I DO PURRR!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I like DIED laughing!!! Only MY NIECE would be convinced that she may be turning into a cat...DUE TO PURRRRING!!!! AHAHAHA!!! I soooooo LOOOOOOVE IT!!!

I was talkin to my niece MJ the other day and after I had hugged her and smothered with kisses...In which she was rolling her eyes for...I said, "Mary Jo, DO YOU LOVE ME????" (Cuz even tho I TOTALLY know she does, I still wanna hear it!!!) She is just silent. I'm like "MARY JO!!!!! DO YOU LOVE ME!?!?!?! She just looks at me and with TOTAL, LIKE -DUH-ATTITUDE, and says...

Mary, WHY would you ask me that?!

MJ's lyrics!!!

Sooooooo Mary Jo has ALWAYS had this thing where she totally just makes up her own lyrics to the songs and just TOTALLY thinks that she is singing it RIGHT!!! Like for "Jesus I Love You" Instead of saying your the peace in my storm she says, "Your THE PIZZA in my storm!" Or for the song that says there will be PEACE in the vally for you...and me! SHe says, "There will be PEAS in the valley!!!" LOL AND the favorite one, that TOTALLY cracked Bishop Abbott up, was for the song Calvary, STILL works for me!! MJ was like, "CALORIES!!! Still work for ME!!!" Bahahaha!

BUT the other day she was just singing her heart out and I just like TOTALLY LOST IT!!! We like, ABSOLUTELY love the song Jason Crabb sings, "I've Never Been This Homesick Before" and so MJ was just BELTING it out and it gets to this part where they say, I'm not going to be old and feeble ANYMORE!!! And so I'm listening and MJ is like, "I'm NOT going to be OLD AND SINGLE ANYMORE!!! BAHAHAHAHA!!! LOLOLOL!!! OMW! I was laughing SOOOO HARD!!!

I guess its pretty obivous what she hears around the house...LOL...Yes, she lives with a mom and aunt...that are "OLD AND SINGLE" AHAHAHAHAHA!

MJ made me feel SOOOO proud and HAPPY! She told me the other day, that when she gets BIG, she wants to  help bring the African kids to church. I felt such sparkles of joy in my heart when she said that...

 and it's good to know that there are other's that feel it TOO!!!!
